The two iconic entertainers will collaborate to create films and series to bring defining stories to audiences in India and across the world.<br /><br />The first project to come out of this partnership is the character-driven thriller, The Railway Men, a four-part series starring R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu Sharma and Babil Khan, which is directed by debutant director Shiv Rawail. <br /><br />The second project is titled Maharaj, which is a film marking the debut of actor Junaid Khan and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari and Shalini Pandey. <p class="p1">Approximately 27 people are dead and 109 people were wounded in the attack. </p>
<p class="p1">Witnesses said that <a href="http://www.scmp.com/news/china/article/1438306/27-dead-109-injured-knife-attack-kunming-railway-station">the men began to hack passers-by with large knives shortly after 9 p.m</a>. on Saturday night, according to the South China Morning Post.</p>
<p class="p1">The police then shot several of the suspects, according to state news agency Xinhua. It is not yet known who the attackers were or what their motives are.  <span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> </span></p>
<p class="p1">Many on Chinese social media have alleged that the suspects were Uighurs, the persecuted Turkic-Muslim minority who are primarily in northwestern China. The rumor has been echoed among others in the city, according to SCMP:<span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> </span></p>
<p class="p4" style="padding-left: 30px;">A hotel worker told the <em>Sunday Morning Post</em> last night she heard the same rumour from people who took refuge in her hotel. "People are rushing towards our hotel. We heard that the attackers are dressed in black, and they are Uygurs." ... </p>
<p class="p4" style="padding-left: 30px;">"Our guests who walked passed the train station told us not to leave the hotel because the situation is dangerous. We dare not leave the hotel right now. There are many police outside. We just fear that not all the attackers have been caught."</p>

Knife-Wielding Attackers In Chinese Train Station Leave 27 Dead, 109 Injured

Gandhi was also seen wearing the porters' trademark red shirt and lifting luggage over his head. <br /><br />He then sat down with the porters and sought to know their problems. <br /><br />"People's hero Rahul Gandhiji met his porter friends at the Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi today. Recently, a video had gone viral in which the porter friends of the railway station had expressed their desire to meet him," the Congress said in a post on X, with a picture of Gandhi interacting with the porters. <br /><br />"Today, Rahulji reached among them and listened to them ... <p>A railway station at the forefront of the rebel stronghold of Donetsk, Ukraine, was the scene of fighting between Ukrainian and pro-Russian separatists Monday, <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/07/21/us-ukraine-crisis-donetsk-idUSKBN0FQ0DT20140721">Reuters reports</a>. The rebels claim the clash was an attempt by the Ukrainian government to take back the city, although Kiev denied sending in its regular army.</p>
<p>Instead, they claimed a small group of pro-government Ukrainians was fighting the rebels.<br /><br />Five were killed with 12 more wounded in a skirmish that took place around the railway station and at an airport just outside the city.</p>

<p>A pro-Russian separatist, Sergei Kavtaradze, <a href="http://www.aljazeera.com/news/europe/2014/07/ukraine-launches-assault-donetsk-rebels-20147218382937765.html">told Al Jazeera</a> that at least four tanks and armored vehicles were engaging in combat with rebel soldiers, while two tanks belonging to the separatists were reported heading to the railway station.</p>
<p>There were apparently civilian casualties. A woman was killed as she walked near a small playground, where two other men were found dead nearby, <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/22/world/europe/ukrainian-military-and-rebel-fighters-clash-in-donetsk.html?_r=0">the New York Times reports</a>.</p>

Poland has deployed its military to check out the site of the rumored Nazi ghost train

<p><div class="image-container float_right" style="width:400px"><div class="image"></div><p class="source">REUTERS/Stringer</p></div>When Liu Zhijun, the former Railways Minister in <keyword id="1334" type="COUNTRY" weightage="60" keywordseo="China">China</keyword> and once one of the country's most important men, was talking to his family lawyer about representing him in an upcoming corruption case, he had one clear request.</p>
<p>“He asked me to guarantee that he would not face the death penalty," lawyer <a href="http://www.scmp.com/news/china/article/1212202/ex-railways-minister-liu-zhijun-seeks-avoid-death-penalty">Gao Zicheng told Chinese media</a>.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, Gao said, that just wasn't something he could guarantee.</p>
<p>Liu has good reason to be concerned — one recent support suggests <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/china-secret-executions-amnesty-report-2013-4">China may secretly execute thousands of people</a> each year, sometimes for relatively minor infractions.</p>
<p>Liu's alleged crimes certainly weren't minor. From 2003-2011 he was in charge of China's vast railway system and oversaw a huge <keyword id="17408" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="infrastructure">infrastructure</keyword> investment, notably including High Speed <keyword id="6366234" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="Rail">Rail</keyword> (HSR).</p>
<p>In that time he is accused of pocketing 60 million yuan (almost $10 million) in bribes for giving out contracts.</p>
<p>The bribes weren't always money either. One businesswoman allegedly arranged for Liu to have sex with TV starlets, including actresses from popular TV series "The Dream of Red Mansions" (there have been some reports in Chinese media that <a href="http://www.wenxuecity.com/news/2013/02/05/2217971.html">he used his power to have sex with every female member of staff on the show</a>).</p>
<p>Liu's alleged corruption is credited with creating a system many see as overpriced, inefficient and unsafe, and his actions have been linked to the tragic <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/wenzhou-train-crash-report-2011-12">Wenzhou train crash in 2011</a> that killed 40 people. As Evan Osnos of the New Yorker put it in a <a href="http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2012/10/22/121022fa_fact_osnos?currentPage=all">long look at China's railways</a> published in October, Liu's name became a byword for “a broken system."</p>
<p>Liu was ousted from the Communist Party last year and <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-22089011">finally arrested this week</a>. He will reportedly face trial in Beijing for taking bribes and abusing power. However, there are more scandalous allegations.</p>
<p>According to the South China Morning Post, the death penalty <a href="http://www.scmp.com/news/china/article/1212202/ex-railways-minister-liu-zhijun-seeks-avoid-death-penalty">can be given for accepting bribes over 100,000 yuan</a>.</p>
<p>However, Liu could get a reprieve. His own brother, Liu Zhixiang, was sentenced to death for the embezzlement, bribe-taking, and arranging the murder of a contractor intent on exposing him, but his sentence was later suspended.</p>

Tsushima is currently being accused by the Japanese authorities of going on a rampage and seriously injuring a 20-year-old female college student on a train on the Odakyu Electric Railway on Friday, August 6.</p><p>The college student was stabbed multiple times on her chest and back. Nine others, including five women and four men, were injured, but no fatalities were reported, per the Mainichi Shimbun. </p><p><a href="https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20210807/p2a/00m/0na/020000c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Video footage</a> of the attack posted by the Mainichi Shimbun showed panicked passengers crowding around and moving about the train cabin while a woman screams for help.</p><p>The mass-stabbing incident took place at around 8.30 p.m. on a 10-car train bound for the Shinjuku shopping district, per <a href="https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2021/08/0f907d5a1ae8-10-passengers-stabbed-or-punched-on-tokyo-train-suspect-arrested.html">Kyodo News</a>. The <keyword id="6355005" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="news">news</keyword> outlet noted there were around 400 passengers on the train, which plies a busy route through western Tokyo. </p><p>Kyodo News also reported that Tsushima has admitted to his role in the assault, telling investigators in a recorded statement that he wanted to "kill happy-looking couples and women" after he was unlucky in love, mocked at social gatherings, and suffered repeated rejection on dating sites. He also told investigators that he chose to carry out the alleged attack on a train because there would be "no space to flee," per Kyodo News.</p><p>According to <a href="https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14413231">Asahi News</a>, Tsushima also poured cooking oil onto the floor of the train cabin but did not manage to set it alight. The train then stopped just before the Soshigaya-Okura Station, where ambulances ferried injured passengers to the hospital.</p><p>Tsushima managed to escape from the scene of the attack, per the <a href="https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2021/08/08/national/crime-legal/odakyu-stabbing/">Japan Times</a>, but was arrested when he showed up at a convenience store in the residential Suginami ward four hours later, in the early hours of Saturday morning.</p><p>The news outlet reported that Tsushima told a store employee:  "I am the suspect in the incident reported by news media. I am tired of fleeing."</p><p>There have been several incidences of mass attacks on Tokyo's trains.</p><p>In 2015, <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-33322794">a 71-year-old man doused himself in fuel and set himself on fire on a bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka</a>, <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-japan-train-idUKKCN0PA0C120150630">killing a female passenger and injuring 26 others</a>. And in <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-44428076">June 2018</a>, a 22-year-old man involved in a deadly stabbing incident killed one passenger and injured two others on a late-night bullet train that was transporting around 800 passengers from Tokyo to Osaka.</p><p>Attacks directed at women and girls have also occurred in Tokyo. <a href="https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2019/05/cd2e013a9973-urgent-11-including-elementary-school-children-stabbed-in-city-near-tokyo.html">Kyodo News</a> reported in May 2019 on a tragic incident where a 51-year-old man stabbed 16 schoolgirls and two adults who were waiting for a school bus. </p>

hoax.</span></span></p><p><span><span>Identifying themselves as Andreas Richter and Piotr Koper, the men appeared on TVP.INFO and read a prepared statement, the Associated Press <a href="http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_POLAND_NAZI_TRAIN?SITE=AP&amp;SECTION=HOME&amp;TEMPLATE=DEFAULT" target="_blank">reports?</a>.</span></span></p><p><span><span><span>"As the finders of a World War II armored train, we, Andreas Richter and Piotr Koper, declare that we have legally informed state authorities about the find and have precisely indicated the location in the presence of only living source of the train legend, r<span>etired miner Tadeusz Slowikowski,</span> <a href="http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_POLAND_NAZI_TRAIN?SITE=AP&amp;SECTION=HOME&amp;TEMPLATE=DEFAULT" target="_blank">confirmed</a> to the Associated Press that Koper and Richter shared their findings with him before alerting authorities.</span></p><p><span><span><span><span>Slowikowski, who searched for the train in 2001, believes it is near t</span>he 65th kilometer of railway tracks from Wroclaw to Walbrzych.</span></span></span></p><p>According to Koper and Richter's <a have suggested that the recently discovered train "could be the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/hitlers-nazi-ghost-train-found-in-poland-could-be-the-first-of-many-hidden-in-a-vast-tunnel-complex-2015-8" target="_blank">first of many</a>," The Telegraph reports.</p><p>Koper and Richter, who are by law <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">entitled to a 10% reward, </span>have offered to help cover the costs of <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">the train's excavation and hope it will become a local tourist attraction in the future.</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Despite <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/russia-wants-nazi-ghost-train-2015-8" target="_blank">Russia's preemptive claims</a> to some of the cargo on the train, the <span>items will be "returned to the
