During the series, the participants choose a new partner from one of the other couples to have a "trial marriage" and live with that person. After three weeks with their new partner, they are reunited with their original partner for a second "trial marriage," where they ultimately decide if they are better off with their original partner, in a new relationship with their trial partner, or alone.</p><p>In the first episode, Rae issued an ultimatum to Zay, demanding that he put a ring on her finger or lose her forever. But during the course of the season — and after an unexpected connection with her trial marriage partner, Jake Cunningham, who was given an ultimatum by his girlfriend, April Marie — Rae realized she was not prepared to <a href="https://www.insider.com/kourtney-kardashian-travis-barker-las-vegas-wedding-looks-reports-2022-4">marry</a> Zay after all.</p><p>Once they were reunited after their trial marriages with others, tension escalated between Rae and Zay when she told him she was "not ready to be engaged." In response, Zay stayed out all night, and when he returned the following morning, she told him, "I don't want to be with you any more." </p><p>Rae explained her decision to dump Zay in episode seven in an interview with Insider earlier this month.</p><p>"When he didn't come home, I immediately knew, 'This is not the man for me,'" she said. "To do that in <a href="https://www.insider.com/cohousing-moms-a-simple-design-transformed-our-floor-plan-2022-4">privacy</a> would've been awful. To do that in the situation that we were in, with all that was going on — he just should have came home."</p><p>Rae also disagreed with her partner's belief that she "should have just not reacted" to his choice to stay out all night after their argument. "I literally couldn't hold back my reaction," she told Insider. "I think if I stayed out all night and came home that Zay would literally never speak to me again. That would not be okay."</p><p>Rae added: "Why should I accept it? He can be seen trying to stop her from leaving on camera before the two walk out of frame. The majority of the argument is then presented to the audience through audio and captions while the two aren't visible on-screen.<p>Rae told Insider she "punched" Zay shortly after they moved off camera and also alleged that Zay shoved her.</p><p>Representatives for Zay at Netflix didn't immediately respond to Insider's request for comment. </p><p>"I'm very upset about that. I'm not proud of my behavior," she said. "I regret us shoving each other. I regret putting my hands on him. I punched him in the shoulder, and it didn't leave a mark or anything. It didn't injure him like that, but I shouldn't have done it. Nobody should ever put their hands on someone else." </p><p>Earlier in the season, Zay participated in another heated altercation with his trial marriage partner, cast member Shanique Brown, when she critiqued his communication skills and asked him to not to raise his voice at her, though that argument didn't turn physical.</p><p>During the aftermath of his argument with Rae, Zay sat on the floor and told the camera, "I was out all night. I was wrong. Whatever." </p><p>"But what do you expect when I'm getting shut out," he continued.</p><p>"When you guys watch the show, just know that you're seeing everybody at their absolute lowest point," Rae told Insider. "<a href="https://www.insider.com/guides/health/moksha-beam-necklace-review">Stress</a> is high. Tension's high. Everything is being captured 24/7. You are connecting with somebody else very quickly, at the same time while worrying about the person that you came with connecting with somebody else." </p><p>"I was really having a hard time," she added.  </p><p>Rae said she wishes she would have been more receptive in some of their discussions: "I should have fought to continue to be more open with him even when it was difficult. I wish that I had pushed through and continued having those hard conversations, even though I didn't appreciate the way he would respond to me sometimes."</p><p>The first eight episodes of "The Ultimatum" are currently streaming on Netflix. Episodes nine and ten premiere on April 13.</p>

'Glee' actor Samantha Marie Ware called out her costar Lea Michele for hypocrisy after she tweeted in support of Black Lives Matter

"It's scary. For the full week, I was thinking I'm probably going to get an email and I might not be able to do the last three episodes, or I might not be able to sing another song."</p><p>By this point in the series — the sixth season — Murphy didn't actually have an active role in the show's production, but Ware said she believes Michele was using Murphy's name as a scare tactic.</p><p>"When I tried to speak up for myself, she told me to shut my mouth. New Delhi, May 11 () The challenging situation due to coronavirus pandemic will further push credit card transactions, a senior SBI Card official has said.<p>He also said that now people will spend more to upgrade their homes as staying indoors is becoming inevitable.</p><p>"It is little early to say how the credit card industry is going to pan out. I have always been a big votary of digital payments. I think that opportunities will come back. Given whatever is the economic condition, I think transaction through credit cards will continue to see a rise," SBI Card MD and CEO Hardayal Prasad told  in an interview.</p><p>Assuming that the lockdown is removed in some places on May 17, the businesses will come back to normal to say about in 2-3 months, he added.</p><p>"After demonetisation, there was a big push towards the credit card industry, I think this (pandemic) is going to be even bigger than demonetisation.</p><p>"After demonetisation, cash was converted into digital (money/ transactions)...even if I get 5 per cent of that, that will be phenomenal. So, we are concentrating on what we can convert. Your cash spend can actually be your card spend. Now, if you are going to stay more time at home and you are not going out, you probably will look at more avenues also to make your house a better place," Prasad said.</p><p>As people will stay more at home, they will vie for better products, may be a bigger televison set, a bigger fridge as they are not eating out and cooking at home, he added.</p><p>"So, we are looking at that kind of trend also to be emerging. People will feel that let's make home a better place, this is now my workplace and office as also this is the place where I live, so they will upgrade their homes if they are working (more) from homes," he said.</p><p>Card spends towards travelling, staying at hotels, summer vacations, cinema and entertainment will be reduced, he said, adding the business is going to be a little challenging assuming things will get back to normal by October.</p><p>"Then there are lot of festivals also in between. In India, festivals play a major role in terms of spends. Looking at travel, I am told 60-80 per cent of their business happens during the summer, that will not happen now," said the CEO.</p><p>However, he expressed confidence that some of the lost ground will be met as the big sales come up during winter festivals and new year.</p><p>SBI Card is also looking at avenues such as co-branded cards where a lot of business proposition looks feasible, however, those with airlines will continue to see challenges for the time being.</p><p>The company has co-branded card with the Apollo Hospitals group and hence people can get doctors' advice as well as pharmacy purchases online.</p><p>Also, there is scope in the education sector as lot of people are now opting for online courses.</p><p>"Suddenly, there is massive uptick taking place in online education sector. Also, during Akshaya Tritiya, we also saw for the first time ever that there was almost Rs 5-6 crore purchase online on the jewellery side.</p><p>"If people are aware of the brand and products, they can do online purchases," Prasad said.</p><p>SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd, under the brand name SBI Card, has registered 28 per cent growth in credit cards to 1.05 crore in fiscal ended March 2020.</p><p>SBI Card, promoted by the country's largest lender State Bank of India in a joint venture with the Carlyle Group, registered a jump of 44 per cent in its net profit to Rs 1,245 crore during 2019-20 as against Rs 865 crore in the preceding fiscal due to robust growth in cards number, spends and receivables.</p><p>Improvement in cost to income ratio and fall in bad loan ratio to little over 2 per cent by March 31, 2020 also helped in posting good numbers.</p><p>Recognising the unprecedented challenges in the economic situation due to COVID-19, the credit card company has created specific the virus related provision of Rs 489 crore.</p><p>Prasad hoped that things may get back to track if companies move out from China to India alongside the government efforts to contain the economic fallout due to the pandemic.</p>"May be these can also propel the economy to rebound in a very strong way. So I think all these things have to be looked for some more time and to see what more the RBI and government can do so that the economy bounces back," Prasad said.  KPM  BALBAL

It's an interesting experiment for the network which premiered the series Sunday, May 22. AMC&#xa0;skipped out on airing a new episode over Memorial Day Weekend so the second episode of the series won't premiere until Sunday, June 5.</p><p>It's also something I've never seen another network or movie studio do. For AMC, a subsequent Facebook live stream of "Preacher" could help remind viewers to tune in to the second episode.&#xa0;</p><p>For other networks and movie studios, Facebook Live could present an opportunity to debut teasers or trailers exclusively to the social network. Or, who knows? (Eds: combines related series)<p>New Delhi, Apr 19 () E-commerce companies have been prohibited from selling non-essential items during the lockdown, as conditional relaxations in select sectors outside the coronavirus hotspot areas to kickstart the battered economy come into effect from Monday.</p><p> With states gearing up to revive limited business activity after the Centre announced easing some of the curbs on April 15,  Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said more relief measures are bound to come if the country continues to manage the coronavirus crisis well, asserting, "you cannot (have) lockdown permanently".</p><p> "He(Modi) gave the call of lockdown at the right time and is now partially allowing economic activity while the lockdown continues. With such a (huge) population we have managed well, if this continues we will get more relief," Javadekar told  in an interview.</p><p> While the relaxations starting from April 20 are primarily aimed at boosting the rural economy, Javadekar, who is a member of the Group of Ministers(GoM) to oversee measures to combat COVID-19, expressed confidence that economic activities will resume in cities as well "sooner than later".</p><p> Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said some industrial activity in the green and orange COVID-19 zones in the state will be resumed in a restricted manner. "We have to turn this 'arthachakra' (stuck wheel of the chariot of economy) from April 20."</p><p> But Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said his government has decided not to relax lockdown restrictions which is in force till May 3 as of now since coronavirus appears to be spreading at a "faster pace" in the national capital.  The  government will assess the situation again after one week, he said.</p><p> Kejriwal said Delhi has reported 1,893 COVID-19 cases and 43 deaths.</p><p> Four days after e-commerce companies were allowed to sell products like mobile phones, refrigerators and ready-made garments, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla issued an order excluding non-essential items from their business. The April 15 order had said e-commerce platforms were allowed to sell such items from April 20.</p><p> Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) officials had said Televison sets and laptops could also be sold online after which a few e-commerce companies had starting accepting orders.</p><p> Asked to comment during a media briefing on the U-turn, Punya Salila Srivastava, a Joint Secretary in the MHA, said the COVID-19 situation was "extremely dynamic" and the decision to allow non-essential goods through e-commerce was withdrawn after it was felt the list of permitted items through the online platform was extensive and that it may impact the lockdown.</p><p> Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla also wrote a letter to the chief secretaries of all States and Union Territories giving a clarification.</p><p> "...I would like to clarify that while operations of e-commerce companies for non-essential goods stands prohibited, however they will continue to operate for essential goods as has been allowed earlier and continue to be allowed," he said.</p><p> Bhalla also said labourers, who are stranded in different parts of the country due to the lockdown, will be allowed to go to their respective places of work within a state with certain conditions.</p><p> He, however, made it clear there will be no inter-state movement of workers during the lockdown.</p><p> Since additional activities, outside the containment zones, have been permitted in the 'consolidated revised guidelines' with effect from April 20, these workers could be engaged in industrial, manufacturing, construction, farming and MNREGA works, he said.</p><p> Agriculture, construction, Information Technology(IT), industrial units in the SEZs and rural areas and e-commerce operations  were among the select sectors where the coronavirus-induced lockdown restrictions are to be lifted from April 20 in a bid to also reduce the distress caused to  millions of people.</p><p> The announcement to ease the curbs to allow some "select necessary activities" in areas which are not COVID-19 hotspots was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14 while declaring the extension of the three-week nationwide lockdown for another 19 days till May 3 to battle the pandemic. The next day, the MHA unveiled the guidelines with some conditions.</p><p> The relaxations lay strict emphasis on social distancing with a warning by the Centre it will be withdrawn if there is any violation of lockdown norms. Wearing of masks is also being mandatory besides making spitting a punishable offence with a fine of at least Rs.1,000.</p><p> The permitted activities from April 20 are aimed at ensuring agricultural and related activities remain fully functional, rural economy functions with maximum efficiency, employment opportunities are created for daily wage earners and other members of labour force, select industrial activities are allowed to resume their operations, with safeguards and mandatory standard operating protocols and digital economy, the MHA said.</p><p> Services provided by self-employed electrician, Information Technology(IT) repairs, plumbers, motor mechanics, carpenters will be allowed giving relief to people looking for such facilities.</p><p> Highway 'dhaba' (eateries), truck repairing shops and call centres for government activities will remain open from April 20.</p><p> In a video message, Chief Minister Thackeray said industries in green and orange COVID-19 zones will get permission to resume operations with some restrictions.</p><p> Industries ready to provide accommodation to their workers during the lockdown will be given food grain supply and permission for raw material from the state, he said.</p><p> The green zones are those which have not reported any coronavirus case, while orange zones are the ones where only a few cases have been reported.</p><p> The chief minister said that except for movement of essential services, all the district borders would remained sealed.</p><p> Thackeray also said his government will take care of all migrant labourers in the state.</p><p> "I urge them to stay here till the lockdown is in force. I will take care of their food. Once the lockdown is over, I will ensure they reach their homes safely."</p><p> The Tamil Nadu government is expected to take a decision on easing curbs on specified industries in the state after perusing a report of an expert committee.</p><p> The committee, which held a meeting, will submit on Monday its report to Chief Minister K Palaniswami who will take a decision on relaxing the curbs after scrutinising the recommendations, an official release said.</p><p> "The curbs in force will continue to be on till such time the government issues orders," it  said.</p><p> In Punjab, sand and gravel mining and stone crushing have been permitted as part of the construction-related activities from Monday, according to the state home department.</p><p> The Centre has also allowed movement of all trucks and other goods vehicles with two drivers and one helper, subject to the driver carrying a valid driving licence.</p><p> An empty truck or vehicle will be allowed to ply after the delivery of goods, or for picking up goods.</p><p> 'Dhabas'(highway eateries) have been allowed to remain open but they will serve only packed food, according to the guidelines.</p><p> Both government and private industries and industrial establishments</p><p> "operating in rural areas, i.e. outside the limits of municipal corporations and municipalities" will be allowed to operate,it said.</p><p> Manufacturing, industrial units with access control in Special Economic Zones(SEZs), export oriented units, industrial estates, industrial townships will also be allowed.</p><p> Activities permitted include those related to agricultural and the horticultural sectors, farmers and farm workers in the field as well as procurement of agri products.</p><p> Shops selling agriculture machinery and those dealing with spare parts, supply chains and repairs as well as 'custom hiring centres' related to farm machinery will also be open from Monday.</p><p> Units manufacturing drugs, pharmaceuticals, medical devices,  medical infrastructure, including manufacture of ambulances, will also open.</p><p> Noting that digital economy is critical to services sector, the ministry said e-commerce operations, operations of IT and IT enabled services(ITeS), data and call centres for Government activities, and online teaching and distance learning are all permitted.</p> The IT and ITeS sector will be allowed to operate with up to 50 per cent strength.
