In addition, he will continue in his leadership role at CureFit, the company said in a statement. "The CureFit partnership with its industry leading platform in fitness and wellness aligns very well with our overall healthcare proposition where fitness is increasingly becoming an <keyword id="1261040" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="integral-part">integral part</keyword> of a consumers' life," said <keyword id="161053" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="N-Chandrasekaran">N. Tata Digital set up its operations in August 2019, to build consumer centric digital businesses for deep consumer engagement and their needs across multiple verticals. On the other hand, CureFit is a leading player in a fitness and wellness market that is growing at 20 per cent per annum and is expected to reach $12 billion by 2025. Before the today's announcement, CureFit had raised nearly $418 million. "Being part of Tata Digital will enable us to nationally scale up our offerings for our customers. Tata Digital to invest $75 million in fitness startup CureFit

Incorporated in 2015, 1MG is a leading player in the <keyword id="1324270" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="eHealth">eHealth</keyword> space and enables easy and affordable access to a wide range of products like medicines, health &amp; wellness products, diagnostics services and tele-consultation to customers. The company operates three state-of-the-art diagnostics labs, has a supply chain covering over 20,000 pin codes across the country and through its subsidiaries is also engaged in the business of B2B distribution of medicines and other healthcare products. Tata Digital to buy majority stake in online pharma startup 1MG

Mumbai, Apr 23 () Indusface, a start-up providing IT security solutions, has received USD 5 million funding from Tata Capital Growth Fund II. The funding will be used by Indusface for global customer acquisition and product innovation, Tata Capital said in a release. "We believe that the cybersecurity market will continue to see significant growth as securing digital assets becomes a priority with the increased salience of digital business processes," Tata Capital Growth Fund's Managing Partner Akhil Awasthi said in the release. After the transaction, Tata Capital Growth Fund Partner Pramod Ahuja will join the Indusface board. Indusface solutions help customers in detecting security risks and protect them from being hacked. Bengaluru-based retail technology startup <keyword id="3215798" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="SnapBizz">SnapBizz</keyword> on Sunday said it has raised an undisclosed round of funding from veteran industrialist <keyword id="6360722" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="ratan-tata">Ratan Tata</keyword>. This is Tata's seventh investment in startups in 2016 so far. Tata, former <keyword id="6355725" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tata-Group">Tata Group</keyword> chairman, has invested over 20 startups so far.  For the group to sustain profitable growth and develop agile business amidst a changing world business environment, he advised that it should focus on developing unique consumer insights, diversification of profit pools, creation of <keyword id="388837" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="intellectual-property">intellectual property</keyword> rights, deployment of robust <keyword id="444072" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="risk-management">risk management</keyword> processes, creation of financial flexibility to seize opportunities, and minimizing impact on the environment. 
 
In FY15, Tata group invested $10 billion, or about Rs 63,000 crore, and its market <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=capitalisation+">capitalisation</a> increased 17% to $134 billion, or about Rs 8,44,200 crore, according to the financial daily. 
 
<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Digital+">Digital</a> businesses were part of the conference and, according to a statement by the company, over 35 examples from across 19 Tata companies that are successfully harnessing digital capabilities in their strategies were showcased. 
 
A consultant who works with the group said like all other brick and mortar companies, Tata group will have to move towards digital as a channel to reach consumers. 
 
"The transition, however is not going to be easy. However, as the consumer gets comfortable, the company has no other choice," said the person who requested not to be named. According to the company statement, Mistry also highlighted opportunities across the world including those that are "presented by a rapidly growing <keyword id="47445" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Indian-market">Indian market</keyword> whose relative importance in the <keyword id="47890" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="global-economy">global economy</keyword> would substantially increase by 2030". He said Tata companies need to build strategic and organisational agility to steer through these changes.

Focus on profitable growth, Cyrus Mistry advises Tata companies

Bhubaneswar, Jan 24 () Tata Steel Kalinganagar has been honoured at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 for its recent admittance into the Global Lighthouse Network.
The network is a small but growing group of global corporations that are showing leadership in applying fourth industrial revolution technologies to drive financial and operational impact.
Tata Steel's CEO &amp; MD T V Narendran, who represented the company at the WEF 2020 held in Davos, accepted the award at the World Economic Forum, a Tata Steel release said.
In July 2019, TSK became the first and only Indian manufacturing plant to be included in the WEF's Lighthouse Network, when 10 new factories, including TSK, were added to the Global Lighthouse Network. Tata Steel's IJmuiden plant in the Netherlands is already a member of this network, it said.
"It is a proud moment for all of us as Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK) joins the prestigious Lighthouse Network of the World Economic Forum. TSK has the distinction of featuring several firsts in the Indian steel industry.
"At Kalinganagar, we not only have state-of-the-art equipment and utilities but also drive higher productivity through automation and digital interventions. As we increase our capacity at TSK to 8 MnTPA, we will continue to implement the best technologies and innovate across the value-chain to drive operational excellence," Narendran said.

A whitepaper titled Global Lighthouse Network: Insights from the Forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution published by the Global Lighthouse Network in collaboration with McKinsey &amp; Company said that Tata Steel's greenfield steel plant in Kalinganagar "is helping to set a new standard in the speed at which a factory can achieve full capacity from complete nascency".
It additionally improved time to market by 50 per cent, due to significant investments in digital and analytics solutions, as well as capability-building to develop the digital skills of a relatively junior and inexperienced team, the paper added.
Commissioned in 2016 and spread over 3,000 acres in Kalinganagar industrial complex in Jajpur district of Odisha, TSK attained production levels at its rated capacity in less than two years and is the largest single-location greenfield steel project in India. SKN BAL
