It also exports them to countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Qatar, Belgium and the Netherlands. In FY22, it exported to 18 global customers across 13 countries. Majority of the company’s sales are derived from selling to Chinese companies. As of FY22, 36.3% of its revenue comes from China, 29.68% from India, 19.46% from rest of Asia, 6.23% from Japan, 5.62% from South Korea, 1.79% from Africa and 0.92% from Europe. The company said in the draft filing to SEBI that it faces pricing pressures from foreign companies that make products at cheaper prices. “We face pricing pressures from foreign companies, principally in Israel (Dead Sea area), China and North America, that are able to produce chemicals at competitive costs and consequently, may supply their products at cheaper prices,” said the company in its red herring prospectus (RHP). The company’s business includes offering built-to-specification products, manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), making smart metres and smart street lights. Kaynes Technology also offers product engineering and IoT solutions to industries as well as common users. The company intends to use the proceeds of the issue for repaying some of its borrowings, funding capital expenditure requirements for expanding its manufacturing capacity, and for working capital needs. Analysts at Anand Rathi had said that at the upper price band of the IPO at ₹587 the company was demanding a price-equity multiple of 81.9 its trailing twelve-month earnings and a market cap of ₹3,412 crore. Anand Rathi said, “it is fairly priced considering its decent historical growth, strong revenue visibility and growing demand of automation across underlying industries.” Besides, Angel One broking had raised concerns about the fact that the company was generating a majority of its revenue from its top 10 customers only. Five Star Business Finance lists at 5% discount in line with grey market expectations

<ul><li>Shares of Bikaji Foods listed at ₹321.15 against the allotment price of ₹300 per share.</li><li>The IPO was subscribed 26.67 times, with good interest from institutional buyers.</li><li>The market capitalisation of the company stood at ₹8,013 crore.</li></ul>Shares of Bikaji Foods International closed at ₹317.45 on the day of its market debut with nearly 6% gains, on Wednesday. The stock listed at a 7% premium over its allotment price. The stock listed at ₹321.15 moving up ₹21.15 from its allotment price of ₹300 per share. This was slightly lower than the grey market’s expectations, which predicted a gain of ₹25-30 per share. GMP is the premium at which IPO shares are traded in an unofficial market before they are listed on the stock exchanges. The market capitalization of the company stood at ₹8,013 crore, according to BSE. The IPO was subscribed a whopping 26.67 times amidst volatile market conditions. Demand for the IPO was huge amongst qualified institutional investors who subscribed 80.63 times the IPO offer. Meanwhile, the retail portion of the IPO saw a subscription of 4.77 times. Analysts were of the opinion that investors must book listing gains considering falling margins and expensive valuation. “The issue had received a good response from investors on both the institutional as well as retail side, and the current GMP is 30 i.e. ~ 10% over its issue price. Nevertheless, the company's margins are on the declining side and a P/E valuation of 95.2 looks expensive. Therefore, we advise investors to lock in listing gains, and only aggressive investors should consider making a long-term commitment to the company,” said Pravesh Gour, senior technical analyst at Swastika Investmart. So far, 26 IPOs made their stock market debut this year on the BSE mainboard. Most of them gave positive listing gains, except seven issues. Bikaji Foods International is the third largest player in the Indian branded ethnic snack industry with 9% market share after Haldiram and Balaji. Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites and T-Mobile join forces to bring internet service to remote areas

Rivers such as Subarnarekha, Budhabalang, Jalaka and Baitarani in north Odisha are in spate due to heavy <keyword id="13195" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="rain" source="Orion">rain</keyword> caused by a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal, and subsequent flood water release from Jharkhand, they said. As many as 251 villages in the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Bhadrak have been impacted by the north Odisha floods, while the total number of affected population crossed 9.66 lakhs, the officials said. Odisha had already been reeling under the impact of a medium flood in the east with the overflowing Mahanadi river inundating paddy fields and villages. As many as 6.4 lakh people remain marooned in the twin floods, according to officials. The state government is currently operating 440 relief centres, where above 1.71 people are being fed cooked meals, they said. Authorities in Balasore and Mayurbhanj districts had on Sunday launched a massive evacuation drive to shift people from vulnerable areas to safer locations. The evacuation process continued even as flood water entered the villages. Water level in Subarnarekha river, though gradually dipping, is still flowing above the danger mark, Odisha's water resources minister Tukuki Sahu said in the evening. Many villages in Baliapal, Bhograi, Basta and Jaleswar blocks of Balasore lay inundated, the minister stated. Not just Subarnarekha river, waters from river Budhabalang and Jalaka have also overtopped banks and entered fields and residential areas in Balasore, officials in the water resources department said. In Jajpur district, water from the Baitarani river inundated a number of blocks, including Dasrathpur and Korei, while in Keonjhar, several places in Hatadihi, Ghasipura and Anandapur have gone under water. Nearly 156 villages in 83 gram panchayats of Balasore district have been hit by the flood. The administration has evacuated 40,000 people by Monday noon. They have put up in 227 temporary shelters, Balasore District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde said. The state government has announced a seven-day relief package for the marooned people of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Keonjhar and Jajpur districts, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said. Web2 has moved towards a single click experience while DeFi is still a 10 clicks experience. CoinDCX Ventures, an arm that helps fund web3 startups in India was launched in May 2022. Given the regulatory uncertainty right now, how do you see this space evolving for web3 startups in India? The regulatory environment globally is moving in lockstep. Global regulators are trying to figure out how to regulate the crypto ecosystem. When laws were drafted, they weren’t done keeping the nature of decentralized business in mind. The regulator is not against innovation but it will take patience and understanding to redraft the set laws. Governments are trying to protect the users while simultaneously trying to understand the crypto space. The secular trend is upwards and this is a global phenomenon.
