More and more companies in India, be it multinational corporations or domestic startups, are <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/cheap-employee-training-will-cost-you/articleshow/56599339.cms">training </a>their staff with techniques to prevent crime and combat terror. 
 
This is the new trend in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/india-inc-spent-more-on-csr-in-2016-exceeds-the-threshold/articleshow/57142735.cms">India Inc</a>, going by which several companies have started to arrange special training for prevention of crime and techniques to deal with terror.

India Inc teaching employees techniques to prevent crime and combat terror

You might be suspicious because of recent changes in their behaviour, or they might simply <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/science-has-shown-that-once-a-cheater-always-a-cheater-could-actually-be-true-2017-8?r=US&amp;IR=T" target="_blank" rel="noopener">have a history of messing around</a>.Sometimes, your intuition may be better than you think. If you get the feeling someone is the "type" to be unfaithful, there might be more to it than your own insecurity or trust issues.According to research, <a href="http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1474704917711513" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published in the journal Evolutionary Psychology</a> and <a href="https://theconversation.com/want-to-know-if-your-partners-cheating-on-you-just-listen-to-their-voice-92387" target="_blank" rel="noopener">written about in The Conversation</a>, you may just need to listen to someone's voice to figure out whether they'll cheat on you or not.Researchers recruited 64 male and 88 female undergraduate students, who were asked to listen to 10 male voices and 10 female voices. Five of each group reported they had cheated on a partner either in the past or in their current relationship.All the voices in each group belonged to people of the same size and shape, who were heterosexual, white, and unmarried but in exclusive relationships. In other words, they were as similar as possible.Participants in the study were given no background information about the people they were listening to. They had to listen to their voices alone, without knowing anything about the person, and rate whether they thought they had ever cheated or not.By hearing the brief recordings, the participants were able to judge actual cheaters as more likely to have cheated - and women were better at it than the men."We were unable to identify exactly which acoustic qualities were driving the perception of cheating ascriptions," the authors of the study wrote. "It is interesting, then, to speculate what aspects of the human voice raters were using to make these accurate assessments because we eliminated differences between groups for the more conspicuous cues of a voice that could be driving factors."One possible reason the participants could so accurately predict someone's infidelity is that they may have generalised attributes of voices of previous partners who they had known to have cheated. In other words, cheaters may all speak in a similar way, but pinpointing exactly what it is that makes them stand out is uncertain.Previous research, such as a study from 2011 <a href="http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/147470491100900109" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published in the journal Evolutionary Psychology</a>, found that women consider men with deeper voices more likely to be unfaithful, suggesting pitch could have something to do with it (although the researchers manipulated the pitch of men's voices to try and account for this).Despite this, <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0003347204003987?via%3Dihub" target="_blank" rel="noopener">another study found that</a> women prefer low-voiced men anyway, especially just before they start ovulating. There could be something inherently biological in this, as <a href="http://rsbl.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/3/6/682" target="_blank" rel="noopener">deeper voices have been linked to healthier children</a>.Whatever it is, the study new shows how vocal cues could be used as a cue for infidelity, the researchers concluded. If something about your partner's voice is making you feel uneasy, it might be worth thinking about."These findings expand upon the idea that the human voice may be of value as a cheater detection tool," the researchers wrote. You might be able to tell if someone is a cheater just by listening to their voice

We worship the <keyword id="1014498" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="self-employed">self-employed</keyword> and <keyword id="53533" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="entrepreneurs">entrepreneurs</keyword>. But the self-employed and entrepreneurs know all too well the difficulty in getting a <keyword id="6354730" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Home-loan">home loan</keyword>. Lenders only grow suspicious while dealing with a loan applicant who is self-employed. 
 
Let us take the case of Sushala Vishwanath, a Bangalore-based interior designer in her late 30s and how she got her home loan. The story is not vastly different from the rest. She had approached about 10 different banks before the State Bank of India (SBI) granted her a loan Rs 28 lakh, against her requirement of Rs 34 lakh. But she had a tough time getting a home loan. “It’s not just about getting a home loan. It’s about the amount of paper work involved and the lenders are suspicious about everything we do,” she said. But things are changing for the better for the self-employed. 
 
Over the past couple of years, banks have started getting very serious about self-employed people. Almost every housing finance company has designed a home loan product for the self-employed. The interest rate may be a tad higher than the others but at the end of it, you still have a scope to get a home loan. It is also important to note that banks shy away from offering fixed rate of interest to this segment of customers. 
 
Following are four key points that lenders consider while processing loans for the self-employed: 
 
1. IT returns: This document is an important one when it comes to income verification. Lenders check past two years of tax returns statements to verify your income. In fact, they take an average income of 24 months to validate your loan. However, lenders do not look into whether it has been a good year or a bad year for your business. So we suggest that you should apply at a time when your business is doing well. 
 
2. Current fiscal profit and loss statement: Being self-employed comes with the additional responsibility of managing your own accounts. So it has to be done meticulously. While applying for a home loan, you have to give a detailed statement of your current year’s profit and loss. 
 
3. Loan eligibility: So how do lenders assess loan eligibility? They take your net profit, consider the business use of your home, add depletion and depreciation, and calculate your income, which will decide your loan eligibility. 
 
4. Safe candidates: Self-employed candidates with higher down payment on home buying, good amount of savings and a good CIBIL score are clear winners from a lender’s perspective. Lenders also take applicants seriously if you have a steady income and some records to show that you have the willingness to repay. 
 
Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, launched a home loan product for the self-employed in early 2013. Commenting on the launch, Jairam Sridharan, head of consumer lending and payments, said in a Press release, “Self-employed people are the backbone of the India growth story. However, credit availability to this group tends to be limited. With ‘Empower home loans,’ Axis Bank would like to partner in the progress of this group of customers and reward them for good credit behaviour.” 
 
Most banks offer home loans for purchasing an under-construction, ready or resale house, plot plus construction and home extension, and improvement loans just like any other loan.
