Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is currently planning a sequel to his directorial debut 'Masoom', Variety reported. Here is all we know so far: The film is titled 'Masoom... The New Generation.' Further deets about the project is still awaited. Released in the year 1983, the film was written by the legendary writer Gulzar, 'Masoom' was an adaptation of Erich Segal's 1980 novel 'Man, Woman and Child.' It followed a happily married couple and their two daughters whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a boy who is the man's son from an earlier affair. The cast included Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Jugal Hansraj, <keyword id="20895" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="supriya-pathak" source="Orion">Supriya Pathak</keyword>, <keyword id="79544" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="saeed-jaffrey" source="Orion">Saeed Jaffrey</keyword>, and <keyword id="1262" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="urmila-matondkar" source="Orion">Urmila Matondkar</keyword>. The film received positive responses from the audience. Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project Tamasha, which has <keyword id="598" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Deepika-Padukone">Deepika Padukone</keyword> and <keyword id="6357861" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="ranbir-kapoor">Ranbir Kapoor</keyword> in main leads, is creating a lot of buzz in the film galleries. Call it the urge to see ex-lovers reunited on screen after giving a hit like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani or watching the marvelous direction of Ali whose last movie Highway was a success, the audience can’t seem to wait enough to watch the travel-based love story.

 The trailer shows the culturally diverse people realizing what binds them together, while showing the beautiful city of Sydney. But the <keyword id="1943889" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Romance-drama">romance-drama</keyword> from director-producer <keyword id="6358308" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="sanjay-leela-bhansali">Sanjay Leela Bhansali</keyword> has stirred up quite a few controversies and failed to catch up with Krrish 3 or <keyword id="227940" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chennai-Express">Chennai Express</keyword> who reportedly grossed Rs 100 crore just after 4 days. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s last match could have thrown a spanner in the works during the first weekend, but it did not happen as anticipated. In fact, the movie saw around 70-80% occupancy in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh circuits. That certainly spurred business and it made over Rs 30 crore in just 2 days, with the first day cash haul estimated at Rs 16 crore. 
 
As expected, the film has come with all the usual SLB trappings. Deepika ‘hot-bod’ Padukone and the equally hot Ram have whipped up a sizzling chemistry rarely found on-screen. Well, well, she has been doing it for some time now – right from <keyword id="115922" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Race-2">Race 2</keyword> to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express. Shot in the backdrop of Gujarat (Kutch, to be precise), the film also has <keyword id="20895" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Supriya-Pathak">Supriya Pathak</keyword>, <keyword id="6366549" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Richa-Chadda">Richa Chadda</keyword> and <keyword id="651479" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gulshan-Devaiah">Gulshan Devaiah</keyword> in some key roles. And the story, loosely based on <keyword id="87923" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="William-Shakespeare">William Shakespeare</keyword>’s epic romance Romeo and Juliet, has an overdose of everything – vibrant set-up, ethnic costumes, mind-blowing music, great dance numbers and a subtle, satirical touch. 
 Still, the fact remains that it has not romped its way to the Rs <keyword id="6567206" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="100-crore-club">100 crore club</keyword> the way Deepika’s earlier two movies did (incidentally, <keyword id="6354563" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Hrithik-Roshan">Hrithik Roshan</keyword>’s Krrish 3 is now the <keyword id="1943900" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Highest-Bollywood-grosser">highest Bollywood grosser</keyword> with Rs 231 crore till Nov 16 and still counting). Also, a <keyword id="271279" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bareilly-court">Bareilly court</keyword> has directed today to lodge a case against the <keyword id="303" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Director">director</keyword> and the star cast of Ram-Leela, following a petition that it glorified <keyword id="6355987" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="violence">violence</keyword> and <keyword id="109676" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Obscenity">obscenity</keyword>. And that could spell further trouble for the movie. 
 Earlier too, a PIL had been filed on the ground that the movie has humiliated the <keyword id="624" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Women">women</keyword> of the <keyword id="1485927" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Darbar-community">Darbar community</keyword> and hurt religious sentiments. Several organisations have demanded a ban on the film and the opening day had been marred with protests and demonstrations. Would all be well with Ram-Leela in the coming weeks?

Mumbai, Mar 16 () Actor Ajay Devgn on Tuesday announced that his upcoming production "<keyword id="7148126" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="the-big-bull">The Big Bull</keyword>", featuring <keyword id="499" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="abhishek-bachchan">Abhishek Bachchan</keyword>, is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar VIP on April 8. The film, directed by Kookie Gulati, is part of the Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex slate, which was announced last year. Devgn took to Twitter and shared the teaser of the film, which reportedly chronicles the story of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, to be played by Bachchan. "Introducing 'The Big Bull'. The mother of all scams! Trailer out on 19th March. #TheBigBull releasing on 8th April only on @DisneyplusHSVIP, stay tuned!#DisneyPlusHostarMultiplex," the actor-producer wrote. In what’s called India’s first movie based on destination weddings, we would see Shahid as Jagjinder Joginder, a wedding planner responsible for a destination wedding and Alia as, well, Alia, the sister of the bride. 
 
Both Shahid and Alia are rumored to be playing insomniacs in the movie, which is why the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Shaandaar-First-look-out-trailer-and-release-dates-announced/articleshow/48358558.cms">first poster</a> of the movie showed them sound asleep, holding each other’s hands. 
 The first song from the much-anticipated Dusshehra release is out. It’s sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani, with Amit Trivedi’s music and Anvita Dutt’s lyrics, and we see Shahid, one of the best dancers in <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, Alia, and <keyword id="2593624" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sanah-Kapur">Sanah Kapur</keyword> (Shahid’s sister from his father’s marriage to actress Supriya Pathak Kapur) grooving to its tunes. The song, Gulaabo, was released online today, after a strong buzz on all major social networking websites for two days. 
 
If reports are to be believed, the first song release of the movie featuring Sanah was Shahid’s Rakshabandhan gift to his pretty sister.

Indian actress <keyword id="30508" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Asin">Asin</keyword> Thottumkal, who is making a comeback after a brief period of absence from the silver screen, is going to tie the knot soon. The Ghajini actress, who was last seen with Akshay Kumar in Khiladi 786, is going to exchange vows with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, one of India's most successful bachelors. 
 
The multilingual actress is rumored to be in a relationship with Sharma for quite some time now, and plans to leave acting or at least take a long break from it post marriage. 
 
Apparently, Asin and Rahul were introduced to each other by actor Akshay Kumar, who was Asin's co-actor in Housefull 2 and Khiladi 786, while being the brand ambassador of Micromax for some time, along with his wife Twinkle Khanna. 
 
This move has added Asin to the elite club of actresses who got married to businessmen. The other members of this club are:

First, we heard that the couple would be heading for a destination wedding to Bali, which was later changed to Greece. After Shahid joked about people knowing more about his wedding than he himself knew, these speculations were put to rest for a while. However, since both Shahid and Mira are followers of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, there were some reports that they would be doing a private ceremony in Beas, where the religious organization is headquartered. 
 
All said and done, this all guesswork has been proven wrong, because we have now got hold of Shahid and Mira’s wedding card, which clearly states that it’s going to be a lavish ceremony in one of the most reputed hotels in Gurgaon.

The wedding is going to happen on 7th July 2015, and the card demands no gifts, only blessings.
