This is the company’s second launch under the Chocobakery sub-category, in less than a year, after the successful launch of Cadbury Chocobakes Choco-filled Cookies. Cadbury Chocobakes Choc Layered Cakes will be available on shelves from July 2020. The supply chain and the deals of the business weren’t churning well. But as we entered May and also now in June, thanks to our strong distribution muscle and the resilience and courage that our back-end teams have exhibited, our factories are now running at a good capacity. For biscuits, we have seen May and June being higher than pre-Covid levels in terms of demand. We are now delivering ever-higher numbers. Overarchingly we believe as things stabilize, the route to market will get back to normal, factories will run at a normal pace. It will take some time but we will get there in the next couple of months. Moreover, snacking as a category was growing earlier, but now with this new normal, we believe the opportunity of the segment growing further is increasing.
