However the new hires are likely to be for entry level and junior roles, where the intent to hire is highest. The hiring intent drops progressively for mid-level jobs, hitting the lowest for senior positions, according to TeamLease’s Q2 Employment Outlook <a href="https://group.teamlease.com/insights/employment-outlook-report-q2-july-september-2022/">Report</a>. “India’s GDP for FY 2021-22 touched 8.7% after contracting by 6.6% during the previous fiscal. This, and a slew of public investments in the PLI (production-linked incentive) schemes – in solar cells manufacturing and in bulk drugs for instance – are likely to provide a fillip to job creation in the coming quarter,” the report said. The <keyword id="6377129" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="government-of-india" source="Orion">Government of India</keyword>’s ₹2.65 lakh crore stimulus package to generate jobs and provide liquidity support across tourism, aviation, construction and housing, is also aiming to bring revenue and jobs in these sectors to the pre-pandemic levels, the report added. Hiring intent, however, was highest in the IT sector, followed by educational services, e-commerce and allied startups, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications. Most of these jobs are likely to be in the metros – Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad, in that order. Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata have ‘moderate’ intent, the report added. “The bottomline is that, rural places and tier-3 cities do not have as much hiring intent as bigger cities, and the sluggish increase suggests it could take quite a while for opportunities to grow any further in these geographies,” the report said. The survey was conducted across 14 Indian cities and 23 sectors, covering 865 small and medium plus large enterprises. According to TeamLease, the IT sector had the highest attrition rate of 22% during April-June 2022. E-commerce and allied startups came a close second. The other sectors with high attrition rate were EVs, FMCG and the textile sector. The hiring intent for engineering roles saw a 13% increase. The job role that’s most in demand is marketing that jumped from 53% to 63% in the second quarter. Large companies show the highest intent to hire, and small businesses exhibit the highest growth in the intent to hire. The survey also discovered that unicorns and ‘Soonicorns’ (soon-to-be unicorns) showed the highest intent to hire followed by “mature” category businesses and startups. India intends to hire people more in the July-September quarter: TeamLease

While the company earns a large portion of revenue from exporting, the whole anti China product sentiment has proved to be a boon for the company. In an interview with Business Insider ahead of the IPO, Mahesh Tanna, chief financial officer (CFO) at Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem shared that pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates and other specialty chemicals (PASC) segment is getting almost 30% of revenues from countries that have been looking for alternatives other than Chinese products. This particular PASC category includes specialty chemicals which are used as intermediates, disinfectants, catalysts and solvents. “China Plus one policy is what is actually the reason why we have this whole segment of pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates and other specialty chemicals (PASC)... our existing customers are largely pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies who are heavily dependent upon supplies from China. Post this environmental issue that happened in China and China Plus One policy, we were given this opportunity if interested we can look into developing pharma and agrochemical intermediates what they were looking for...Today, this PASC segment is contributing almost 25-30% of our revenues. This segment did not exist before 2006,” said Tanna. China Plus One is the business strategy to avoid investing only in China and diversify business into other countries. Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem receives 70% of the revenue from exports to over 25 countries including the USA, China, Germany, Japan, South Africa, and the UK, whereas the rest 30% comes from domestic markets. PASC segment delivered 30.37% revenue in FY21, 29.06% in FY20 and 42.39% in FY19. Commenting on the impact of another complete lockdown, Tanna said in the second lockdown there was zero impact on industrial activities. So, if any lockdown happens pertaining to COVID-19 probably in 2021, it should not create any problem for them. He showed optimism about the chemical sector overall and believes the growth trend will continue like the last three years. According to <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/preston-road-to-recovery?" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a GoFundMe</a> page set up to cover funds for Preston's treatment, it resulted in burns on over 30% of his body, the loss of nine toes, and the amputation of eight fingers. It also says he has already undergone eight surgeries and is set to have more every week for the next month. As of Saturday, the GoFundMe set up to help the couple and their family through their challenge has raised over $8,800 toward its target of $30,000. Following the accident, Preston, a decorated veteran of the Iraq War, was airlifted to the Augusta Burn Unit, where he was in a coma for two days, per the outlet. When he woke up, he told USA Today he could only apologize to Tanesha. "I felt like I let her down and that she wouldn't want to be with me now that I am deformed," he said. Upon hearing that, the outlet reports that Tanesha said she told him she loved him for more than his physical appearance. According to USA Today, while receiving care at the Augusta Burn Unit in Georgia, a nurse overheard that the couple, who met growing up but didn't start dating until 2020, had been looking forward to their wedding before the accident.To help them stick to their original date, the nurse recruited more hospital staff members to plan a wedding for Preston and Tanesha on the unit floor. The ceremony was attended by friends, family, and staff members, per the outlet. Tanesha shared photos from the special day <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CvFYTouLJDz/?img_index=1MmM1YmI2Ng==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Monday on Instagram</a>. Wearing a white dress, tiara, and veil, she stood by Preston, who wore a tuxedo-printed shirt as he lay on his hospital bed. In the caption, Tanesha wrote that she'd been "riding on cloud 9" and that the wedding felt "like a dream.""This intimate ceremony was something like a fairy tale. I married my true love. The man that loves, adores, protects and cares for me in a way that I can hardly put into words," she wrote. "Although this journey may not be easy... one thing I know is that it will all be worth it. I love you so much and I'm so in love you. Nothing will ever change that," Tanesha added. She shared her thanks for the staff at the burn unit for putting together the wedding for them. "We are tremendously grateful," she added.
