According to a post by Lenovo China’s phone business manager Chen Jin on <a href="https://m.weibo.cn/status/KuUiM1h8e?refer_flag=1001030103_&amp;jumpfrom=weibocom">Weibo</a>, the Snapdragon 895 chipset will have a “greatly upgraded GPU”. He revealed this information while teasing the <keyword id="11950275" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="legion-3-pro" source="Orion">Legion 3 Pro</keyword>, the company’s upcoming flagship gaming smartphone. The Snapdragon 895 chipset, codenamed SM8450, is expected to launch at Qualcomm’s annual event in Hawaii towards the end of the year. According to <a href="https://twitter.com/evleaks/status/1400520509897510912">leaks</a> so far, Qualcomm is expected to build the Snapdragon 895 chipset and its X65 5G modem on a 4nm fabrication process, which seems like a minor bump from the Snapdragon 888 that is built on a 5nm process. Phones with the Snapdragon 895 chipset will be able to connect to 5G networks on mmWave or sub-5GHz frequencies. Beyond this, it is difficult to speculate what exactly the Snapdragon 895 chipset will have in store for us. We should start seeing smartphones with the Snapdragon 895 and Exynos 2200 chipsets in 2022. While most Android original equipment manufacturers (OEM) – say, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo et al – will likely use the Snapdragon 895 chipset in their flagships, Samsung could use both the Snapdragon 895 and Exynos 2200 chipsets, depending on the market. Snapdragon 895 chipset to offer major graphics boost to compete with Samsung’s Exynos 2200 with AMD RDNA graphics

Redmi, a sub-brand of Mi India, on Friday unveiled <keyword id="11905533" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Redmi-10-Prime" source="Orion">Redmi 10 Prime</keyword>, its first 50MP smartphone in the Indian market. The Redmi 10 Prime is priced at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB + 64GB storage and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. It comes in three colours and the sale in India will start from September 7 via Xiaomi India channels and Amazon. "With the launch of Redmi 10 Prime, we are bringing an all-around superstar, with an experience that users associate with the Redmi Note series to the Redmi series, with improvements across camera, high-resolution display, high performance, and power-packed battery life," Muralikrishnan B, Chief Business Officer, Xiaomi India, said in a statement. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate. The smartphone houses a quad rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. There is an 8MP selfie camera. The phone offers a range of photography features like time lapse, slo-mo, Kaleidoscope mode, Sky Scapping mode, as well as a built-in editor. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W wired and 9W reverse charging support. For connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port. In addition, the smartphone maker has also launched the Earbuds 3 Pro at Rs. 2,999. It features an in-ear design, rubber tips, and an IPX4-rated built for water resistance. According to noted Apple analyst <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2021/08/29/kuo-iphone-13-to-support-leo-satellite-communication-allowing-users-to-make-phone-calls-and-send-texts-without-cell-signal/">Ming-Chi Kuo</a>, the iPhone 13 could have the ability to connect to a communications satellite, courtesy of a customised baseband chipset. Kuo says that this customised chipset is likely to be the Qualcomm X60 modem. In simpler terms, the iPhone 13 could support low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites, so when the phone is out of cellular coverage, it could connect to a LEO satellite to allow you make calls. A <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-20/apple-has-top-secret-team-working-on-internet-satellites">Bloomberg</a> report from 2019 claimed that Apple is hiring software, hardware and aerospace engineers to explore new connectivity options for the iPhone. However, this is the first time we’re hearing about the possibility of an upcoming iPhone featuring satellite connectivity. It’s not clear how exactly or what all features would be supported by the iPhone 13 with satellite internet, or if Apple plans to restrict connectivity only to its own apps.
