The online portal for applying for the pass will open at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the aviation regulators of both the countries — <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword> and Singapore — reached an agreement to resume daily commercial passenger flights from India beginning from November 29, 2021. On November 15, Singapore included India on its <keyword id="12277414" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="vaccinated-travel-lane" source="Orion">Vaccinated Travel Lane</keyword> (VTL) list, which included the names of the countries that are exempted from quarantine upon arrival, only on the condition that the travellers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a proof for the same. Under this VTL, there will be six daily flights from India to Singapore — two each from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai. What documents will you need to apply for VTP? <ol><li>Travellers should possess a digital proof for full vaccination against COVID-19. </li><li>They are also required to take two COVID-19 tests. The first one has to be taken two days before the departure date, while the second one has to be taken after arriving at the Changi airport (travellers will have to keep them under isolation till the results are found to be negative). </li><li>A COVID-19 insurance policy is also required for short-term visitors. All short-term visitors travelling to Singapore under VTL, must purchase a suitable travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $30,000 against COVID-19 related medical charges. Travellers may be insured with a Singapore or overseas-based insurer. </li><li>A valid visa for short-term visitors.
