Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus '<keyword id="46758" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="rrr" source="Orion">RRR</keyword>', which hit the Indian screens in March 2022, was scheduled to be screened at the world's biggest IMAX theatre and the tickets for the screening got sold out in a matter of 98 seconds. 'RRR' was screened as a part of an initiative by Beyond Fest at Los Angeles' Chinese Theatre. The official handle of Beyond Fest took to Twitter to share the news. The tweet claimed that it was historic as there has not been a screening like this ever before. The tweet read: "It's official and it's historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @mmkeeravaani." Set in the 1920s, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries chose to go into obscurity before they began the fight for their country. Gone in 98 seconds: RRR show sold out at Chinese theatre in LA

 A few days after <keyword id="6358125" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tabu">Tabu</keyword>’s tough cop look was launched, the makers of the upcoming movie <keyword id="1835032" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Drishyam">Drishyam</keyword> have released the official trailer of the movie, giving us a sneak peek into the movie plot and cast. 
 In this official Hindi remake of 2013 Malayalam movie of the same name, Ajay Devgn will be seen enacting the role of a family man living in Goa. <keyword id="15050" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shriya-saran">Shriya Saran</keyword> plays his wife while there are two young girls playing the daughters to the couple. 
 
From what we could collect from the trailer, Ajay’s character gets framed in the <a>case of a boy gone missing; the boy </a>would be the son of the IG Police, played by Tabu. 
 
The trailer depicts his journey of proving himself innocent; while some scenes also suggest that he actually is guilty and has to protect himself and his family from the clutches of those who have power. 
 
The Malayalam movie had Mohanlal in the lead while Asha Sarath played the role of IG Police. While the Malayalam movie was directed by Jeethu Joseph, its Hindi remake has been directed by Nishikant Kamat.

Dreams of so many Indians have finally come true as team '<keyword id="46758" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="rrr" source="Orion">RRR</keyword>' brought glory to the country. RRR's power-packed song '<keyword id="12494707" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="naatu-naatu" source="Orion">Naatu Naatu</keyword>' took India global as it won the Oscar for 'Original Song'. 'Naatu Naatu' has won the award tumping big names like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose accepted the award on behalf of the team. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava and composer along with director <keyword id="952505" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="ss-rajamouli" source="Orion">SS Rajamouli</keyword> and lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan are all present at the big event. 'Naatu Naatu' is the first Telugu song to be nominated in the 'Original Song' category at the <keyword id="6376611" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="oscars" source="Orion">Oscars</keyword>. Earlier, the singers gave a live performance. It was a goosebump moment for all when Naatu Naatu took over the Oscars stage with American dancers doing full justice to the track. American actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb also grooved on the track. Actress Deepika Padukone introduced the song to the audience and called it a 'banger'. The audience loved Rahul and Kaala's performance as they all stood up from their seats and applauded them. Talking about 'Naatu Naatu', the song, as mentioned, the lyrical composition by MM Keeravani, high energy rendition by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith, and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this 'RRR' mass anthem a perfect dance craze. The song competed against 'Applause' from the film 'Tell It Like A Woman,' 'Hold My Hand' from the movie 'Top Gun: Maverick,' 'Lift me Up' from 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' and 'This Is Life,' from 'Everything, Everywhere All At Once'. The film is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film. Earlier the Indian documentary film 'Elephant Whisperers' won the Oscar in the 'Best Documentary Short Film' category. Producer Guneet Monga along with director Kartiki Gonsalves took centre stage to accept the honour.
