Time denied this ever happened. </strong></li></ul><p> </p><p>On Wednesday, Time magazine named its "Person of the Year": the "Silence Breakers" who were part of the #MeToo movement. In 2017, these 'Silence Breakers' came forward and took action against sexual harassment and assault that had previously gone unpunished.</p><p>The five women who appear on the Time cover are actress Ashley Judd, singer Taylor Swift, Uber engineer Susan Fowler, lobbyist Adama Iwu, and strawberry picker Isabel Pascual.</p><p>This year, all five women broke silence and told their stories of sexual assault or harassment.</p><p>Judd <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/ashley-judd-accuses-harvey-weinstein-sexual-harassment-2017-10">came forward to The New York Times</a> with an accusation of sexual harassment against film producer Harvey Weinstein, which jump-started the #MeToo movement, and encouraged more women and men to come forward with similar accusations against powerful men including Brett Ratner, Kevin Spacey, and Louis C.K.</p><p>Swift <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/taylor-swift-lawsuit-denver-dj-groping-8">went to trial with a DJ who she says groped her in 2013.</a> After Swift came forward, the DJ lost his job and sued her for defamation. Swift sued back, for one dollar. The jury found the DJ guilty.</p><p>In February, Fowler <a href="https://www.susanjfowler.com/blog/2017/2/19/reflecting-on-one-very-strange-year-at-uber">wrote an essay</a> in which she accused her manager at Uber of sexual harassment, sparking a wave of change at the company. She also accused upper management at Uber of threatening her after she made the accusation. </p><p>Iwu, a lobbyist for Visa, started a campaign to expose sexual harassment in the California state government in Sacramento.</p><p>After the allegations against Harvey Weinstein surfaced, Pascual spoke out at a march in Los Angeles about being stalked and harassed in order to give a voice to women working in agriculture.</p><p>"The women and men who have broken their silence span all races, all income classes, all occupations and virtually all corners of the globe," Time wrote. "They might labor in California fields, or behind the front desk at New York City's regal Plaza Hotel, or in the European Parliament. They're part of a movement that has no formal name. But now they have a voice."</p><p>Other 'Silence Breakers' featured include Rose McGowan, Selma Blair, Terry Crews, Alyssa Milano, Sara Gelser, Wendy Walsh, and Megyn Kelly.</p><p>The lead-up to Time's unveiling of "Person of the Year" featured a bit of drama involving President Trump.</p><p>In November, Trump said in a tweet that he "took a pass" when Time called to say he was "probably" going to be its "Person of the Year." Time denied this ever occurred.</p><p>"The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year," the magazine <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/time-magazine-responds-to-trump-person-of-the-year-2017-11">tweeted</a>. Time magazine names the #MeToo 'Silence Breakers' as its Person of the Year - spurning Trump

<p>One thing we know for sure: FX's&#xa0;<span>"American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson"</span>&#xa0;won't hold back on the drama. Or at least that's the impression given by the show's&#xa0;newest teaser.</p><p>There are a lot of tears and breakdowns in just 30 seconds of footage from the upcoming dramatized series about the Simpson murder case.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><p>For example, O.J. Simpson (<span>Cuba Gooding, Jr.) clutches a gun and leans into&#xa0;the corner of Kim Kardashian's bedroom. </span><span>Her father and Simpson attorney (and friend) Robert Kardashian (<span>David Schwimmer) then yells, "<span>Do not kill yourself in Kimmy's bedroom!"</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>In another scene, prosecutor Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) has buckled under all the pressure.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>This is serious melodrama.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div></span></span></span></p><p>FX is hoping for another hit from "American Horror Story" co-creator Ryan Murphy with the upcoming true-crime anthology show.</p><p>Based on Jeffrey Toobin's book "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson," the limited series will take a look at the O.J. Simpson trial from the perspective of the lawyers.&#xa0;It will explore the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court and how the LAPD's history with Los Angeles' African-American community affected the trial.</p><p><span>John Travolta,&#xa0;Courtney B. <p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>All the answers we craved after watching the 1999 movie "Cruel Intentions" will be answered in a TV series based on the movie that's in the works at NBC.<p>Business Insider's sources confirm that NBC has ordered a script for the show, which carries a penalty for the network if it decides not to go forward with the project.</p><p>The original "Cruel Intentions" followed rich and popular step-siblings Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillipe) as they toy with the daughter of the new headmaster, Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon). Selma Blair also starred.</p><p><span><div></div></span></p><p class="embed-spacer">According to Deadline, <a href="http://deadline.com/2015/10/cruel-intentions-followup-tv-series-remake-nbc-1201589401/" target="_blank">which broke the news</a>, the new series will follow 16-year-old Bash Casey, <span>son of the late Sebastian Valmont (played by Ryan Phillippe) and Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon). He'll discover his father's journal and learn of the riches he left behind for love. In search of answers, Casey will move from Kansas to San Francisco for a scholarship at the&#xa0;<span>prestigious Brighton Preparatory Academy. While there, he'll get thrust into a world of luxury, lust, and corruption.</span></span></p><p><span>The film's writer-director Roger Kumble and producer Neal H. Moritz will return. Additionally, the team behind the musical staging of "Cruel Intentions" in Los Angeles -&#xa0;<span>Lindsey Rosin and Jordan Ross - are onboard, as well.</span></span></p><p>"Cruel Intentions" recieved <a href="http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/cruel_intentions/" target="_blank">mixed reviews </a>from critics, audiences loved it.
