According to the former IT bellwether’s regulatory filling made on May 19 to the US Security and Exchange Commission, billionaire chairman Azim Premji's annual compensation, which includes salary and benefits, more than doubled to $1.71 million in fiscal 2012-2013, up from $733,827 in fiscal 2012-2013.<br />

Premji's pay doubled mainly on account of a boost in variable pay component. He also received an additional 0.3% commission, calculated on the firm's incremental net profits over the previous year.<br />
<br />
Wipro CEO TK Kurien's salary for the first time crossed the million-dollar mark. His compensation grew to $1.1 million by the end of March this year, from $888,228 in fiscal year 2012-2013.<br />

This reward to Kurien, who took over the job in 2011, is also a sign that the IT company continued to back his turnaround plans.<br />
<br /> The reward given to Kurien comes days after <keyword id="6354512" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Infosys">Infosys</keyword> gave a good compensation to president BG Srinivas with a pay package of $1.28 million. Srinivas is widely seen as a top contender to become the company CEO after <keyword id="385878" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="SD-Shibulal">SD Shibulal</keyword> expressed his desire to step down in March 2015.<br />

The annual salaries of Premji and Kurien, however, do not include their dividend earnings from shareholding in Wipro.

DMK, other UPA allies demands cancellation of NEET exams

<ul><li><strong>Prime Minister Narendra <keyword id="6354642" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Modi">Modi</keyword> asserted that major decisions will be taken during <keyword id="6354721" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="parliament">Parliament</keyword> proceedings with discussions on various subjects in both the houses.</strong></li><li><strong>The Prime Minister also lauded the efforts of the Army on the border, saying "the whole country is behind them", as the country continues to be on a stand-off with China.</strong></li></ul>Ahead of the beginning of Monsoon Session on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that major decisions will be taken during Parliament proceedings with discussions on various subjects in both the houses.<br /><br />The Prime Minister expressed his firm belief that all lawmakers will do a value edition during discussion.<br /><br />The Monsoon Session will continue till October 1.<br /><br />Mentioning that the period of the Budget session of Parliament was curtailed in March due to Covid-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister said this Monsoon Session is being organised in a specific environment with all necessary health precautions to contain the spread of the disease which so far has infected 47,54,357 people across the country.<br /><br />"No relaxations until the Covid-19 vaccine comes," Modi said. Parliament to take several major decisions in Monsoon Session, says PM Modi

Police was questioning him since 1 p.m. He has been implicated in Delhi riots," said Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, father of Umar Khalid.<br /><br />Khalid was summoned on Saturday and Sunday. He was arrested after being questioned for around 10 hours and will be produced before a Delhi court on Monday.<br /><br />Earlier on September 2, Khalid was called by the Crime Branch for questioning in the northeast Delhi riots case. He was let off after the questioning.<br /><br />The arrest comes hours after Delhi police issued a statement on Sunday in which it has asked those who have doubts and questions about the northeast Delhi riots probe to take legal course at the appropriate time.<br /><br />The Delhi police said that various interest groups are using social media platforms and other online portals to raise questions about the fairness of investigation of the northeast Delhi riot cases.<br /><br />Earlier, retired IPS officer Julio Ribeiro, who was former Mumbai police commissioner, DGP Gujarat and Punjab, and former Indian Ambassador to Romania, has written to Delhi Police Commissioner S N Shrivastava, questioning the probe into the northeast Delhi riots cases.<br /><br />Since December, Delhi was brimming with tensions after the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was passed. A sit-in protest against it started at various parts of the national capital. <p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Thomson Reuters</span></p><p class="caption">Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari speaks during an interview at Reuters in New York</p></div><p></p></div></div>It's an all-too common refrain among US corporations: we have jobs available, but simply can't find qualified workers to fill them.</p><p>Economists, including top Federal Reserve officials, lend credibility to this dubious claim by arguing there is a "skills gap" among US workers that is preventing firms from finding employees with the right backgrounds.</p><p>However, ample research and basic common sense suggests that wage stagnation, which has dominated the US job landscape in recent decades, is a symptom of an anemic labor market, not a fully recovered one.</p><p>Credit to Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari for pointing that out during a speech to business leaders on Monday.</p><p>"If you're not raising wages, then it just sounds like whining," <a href="http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/fed-official-businesses-claiming-worker-shortages-without-raising-wages-sounds-like-whining/article/2630836">he told a group of business people at a Rotary Club meeting in Sioux Falls, S.D.</a>, according to the Washington Examiner. </p><p>The July jobs report released on Friday confirmed wage growth is meek at best. <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/us-jobs-report-july-2017-8">A</a><span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/us-jobs-report-july-2017-8">verage hourly earnings rose by 0.3% from a month earlier and 2.5% from the year before</a>, a level that barely keeps up with even the subdued rises in consumer prices. </span></p><p><span>"Are any of you planning to raise wages in the next year or two? Or are you just complaining about you can't find workers?" Kashkari asked the group. </span><span>"If you look at North Dakota in the oil boom - if you raise wages, people respond and you can find workers."</span></p><p><span>Consistent with this perspective, Kashkari, a voting member on this year's policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee, has dissented against both of the Fed's interest rate increases this year. Fed rebel warns businesses to stop 'whining' about a shortage of workers

The romantic number would be shot at the famous black sand and white surf location in <keyword id="55091" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Iceland">Iceland</keyword>, and we can’t wait to see India’s most loved on-screen jodi to sizzle in this song.<br />

However, director Rohit Shetty is not the first Indian director to have thought of shooting a song in a single go. In the past, there have been songs or sequences where the director didn’t call for a cut and shot it in one go.<br />

Surely, this takes a lot of planning, rehearsal, and retakes, but what comes out in the final cut is spellbinding, and completely worth it.<br />

Farah Khan choreographed the first 02:40 minutes of the song in a single take.<br />

The song is around 03:39-minutes long, and was sung by Anushka Manchanda, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani while the latter two being the music directors.<br />

The sequence showed Malhota getting onto a ship and fighting with dozens of goons, one by one, in a single take. The scene was brilliantly executed because the fight looked real and the background music added a lot of drama to the scene.<br />

This song from 2015's comedy-drama had a lot of actors, including Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose, Ridhuma Sud, Zarina Wahab, Vikrant Massey, Parmeet Sethi, Divya Seth, and Manoj Pahwa dancing with hundreds of background songs. Out of all the songs listed, this one has the most fast-paced beats, and is also the longest one-take song (04:38 minutes). SRK Kajol to shoot one take song in Dilwale, but it’s not Bollywood’s first

<p>BlackBerry's  square-shaped smartphone isn't expected to launch until September, but a new set of photos provides the most in-depth preview we've seen yet.</p>

<p>BlackBerry took the wraps off its Passport phone back in June, and early reviews have been positive since then. CrackBerry <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/blackberry-passport-rumors-and-photos-2014-6">previously said the Passport's screen</a> "is of such an elegance, it even made the most diehard iPhone user smile."</p>
<p>Still, BlackBerry has a long way to go if it wants to catch up with Android and iOS - the two platforms that currently dominate the smartphone space. In the last quarter of 2013, <a href="http://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=prUS24676414">the IDC said</a> BlackBerry only accounted for 0.3% of the smartphone market share. It's unclear if a device like the Passport will be enough to change that. </p>
