The latest one to be acquired is the well-known digital media brand ScoopWhoop, which claims to have over 100 million users on its platform. The company will become a subsidiary of the Good Glamm Group, along with another digital media brand POPxo that was acquired in August 2020. Now the question arises -- What would a beauty and cosmetics brand do with digital media platforms like ScoopWhoop and POPxo? Well, POPxo at least tried its hand in an ecommerce play before getting acquired, but ScoopWhoop had nothing to do with it. POPxo, ScoopWhoop will have a direct impact on MyGlamm’s financial statement Since last year — even before Good Glamm Group came into existence — MyGlamm had been boasting about its content-to-commerce playbook. The thought behind the strategy is simple -- you acquire a digital media company that has a substantial number of users and that will set the wheels rolling for your marketing. In turn, you save money on advertising and hope to get better recognition for your brand. MyGlamm’s founder and chief executive Darshan Sanghvi — while <a href="https://inc42.com/buzz/myglamm-popxo-join-forces-for-content-driven-beauty-ecommerce-play/">announcing</a> the acquisition of POPxo and its influencer marketing platform Plixxo in August 2020 — had specified that the acquisition of POPxo alone would help the company save $4-5 million in marketing costs annually. POPxo, then, had less than half the user ScoopWhoop has at the moment. MyGlamm spent 11% more than of its revenue on marketing and advertising spends in the financial year 2020, as per data sourced from its financial statement. Losses were at ₹68 crore. POPxo’s Gill and BabyChakra’s Saggi being the brain behind the idea of setting up Good Glamm Group, joined MyGlamm’s Sanghvi at the parent entity. The same would not be true for other companies. Each of the acquired companies, including Scoopwhoop and The Moms Co, will continue to be operational independently and being led by their current leadership. The company seems confident in this strategy that it has already made plans to hit the public market by 2023. With ScoopWhoop and POPxo in its kitty, here’s what MyGlamm intends to do

A first of its kind acquisition of a personality-driven company by a content-to- commerce conglomerate, this strategic move will offer The Good Glamm Group an unprecedented access to a robust network of influencers, celebrities and market know-how strongly enhancing its unique content-to-commerce play in the country, a statement said. Following this acquisition, the Mumbai-based MissMalini Entertainment will continue to function independently while bringing its expertise to The Good Glamm Group, it added. MissMalini founder Malini Agarwal and co-founders Nowshad Rizwanullah (also CEO) and Mike Melli (also CRO) will continue to lead the company, the statement said. They will work closely with The Good Glamm Group founder and CEO, Darpan Sanghvi and co-founders Priyanka Gill and Naiyya Saggi, it added. While the deal size was not disclosed, Sanghvi said transaction is a combination of stock and cash. The Good Glamm Group’s commerce and content stack coupled with MissMalini’s celebrity, influencer and content strengths will further turbocharge the group’s D2C capabilities. ScoopWhoop and MyGlamm’s parent, which is backed by Amazon, is now valued over a billion dollars

This is the worlds largest ever <keyword id="12733047" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="green-power-purchase-agreement-" source="Orion">green power purchase agreement.</keyword> "We are pleased to have signed the world's largest PPA with SECI," said Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. "This is yet another step in our journey to enable India's dual objective to accelerate India's renewable energy footprint as well as promote domestic manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat programme. Following the proceedings at COP26, it is increasingly evident that the world has to equitably transition to a low carbon economy faster than previously anticipated. This is why the Adani Group has committed $50-$70 billion of investment in the renewables space. This agreement keeps us well on track to our commitment to become the world's largest renewables player by 2030," he added. The AGEL-SECI agreement to supply 4,667 MW is part of a manufacturing-linked solar tender of 8,000 MW awarded to AGEL by SECI in June 2020, which set a record for being the world's largest solar development tender ever awarded. So far, AGEL has signed PPAs with SECI for a total generation capacity of close to 6000 MW of the 8,000 MW awarded in 2020. AGEL expects to close the balance 2000 MW PPA in the next two to three months. Adani signs world's largest green power purchase agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India

The integration of Log 9's 'RapidX' batteries can fully charge Hero Electric 2W within 15 minutes. Log 9 has tested its RapidX batteries through a series of pilots across multiple B2B fleet operators such as Amazon, Shadowfax, Delhivery, Flipkart and BykeMania, etc. "Our InstaCharge batteries on Hero vehicle platform will provide the 'power, performance and peace of mind' for the B2B last-mile delivery sector and will benefit the cause of reducing operational costs as well as lowering emissions," said Dr Akshay Singhal, Founder and CEO, Log 9 Materials. Log9 has leveraged its cell-to-pack competency to develop batteries that provide 9x faster charging, 9x better performance, 9x lower battery degradation, and 9x battery life. Hero Electric and Log 9 will deploy these batteries in the market via outright sales and Battery-as-a-Service (BASS) business models. "Some of the B2B businesses wanted to run the bikes continuously for long hours with a minimal interruption in their delivery operations.
