Policybazaar, Sigachi Industries and SJS Enterprises are looking to altogether raise ₹6,634 crore in the first week of November. All three IPOs will open on November 1 and close on November 3. At the same time, the beauty and fashion ecommerce company Nykaa worth ₹5,352 crore issue size is opening its <keyword id="6354763" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ipo" source="Orion">IPO</keyword> tomorrow, October 28, which will close on November 3. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting announcement on IPO dates of fintech players Paytm, MobiKwik and edible oil maker Adani Wilmar, which may also open in November. PolicyBazaar PB Fintech, the parent company of online fintech marketplaces PolicyBazaar and PaisaBazaar, is coming with an IPO next week. The issue size of the IPO is ₹5,709 crore consisting of a fresh issue of ₹3,759 crore and an offer for sale of ₹1,959 crore by its existing shareholders PB Fintech has built two of the largest platforms for insurance and lending products through PolicyBazaar and PaisaBazaar. IPOs worth around ₹7,000 crore to open in November first week

Mexico City, Jul 5 (AP) Mexico has topped 30,000 COVID-19 deaths, overtaking France as the country with the fifth-highest death toll since the coronavirus outbreak began. Officials reported 523 more confirmed coronavirus deaths for Saturday, bringing the nation's total to 30,366 for the pandemic. Mexico's total confirmed infections rose by almost 6,000 to 251,165, about on par with Spain, the eighth highest caseload. Also Saturday, about 200 street vendors briefly blocked several major avenues in downtown Mexico City on Saturday to demand they be allowed to sell again amid the coronavirus pandemic. The sidewalks of the colonial-era downtown are usually crowded with vendors who lay out their wares on wire racks or blankets. But since March, the city has banned such informal commerce and closed most established businesses in the district to stem the spread of the new coronavirus. Protesting vendors carried signs and chanted slogans claiming they could no longer bear the lockdown. Most have no unemployment insurance, and after three months of not selling many are growing desperate. Officials had allowed a partial reopening of downtown this week although virus cases continue to climb, but they reversed course Friday after a lack of sanitary measures were reported at some stores. While most customers and employees wore some form of face mask, many stores didn't reduce the number of clients allowed in or provide the required foot-wiping pads or sanitizer gel. The joint reopening plan required the active participation of the government, the public and store owners, and Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum said it would now be rethought. As the country makes room for new development projects, the increasing demand for faucets and tiles has lead to 7%-8% growth in construction sector. The demand for <a href="https://www.business-standard.com/search?type=news&amp;q=industrial+ceramic+products">industrial </a>ceramic products such as ceramic tiles, sanitary wares and pipes required in construction applications too are expected to increase. Given that the government has announced an investment of $376.5 billion in infrastructure by 2020, the ceramic industry “expects a huge growth in volume,” Tarun Marwah, Director, Messe Muenchen India, told IANS. He noted that the industry is divided equally into two — organised sector comprising large players and unorganised sector. India has also been stepping up its efforts to increase reach for the global ceramic market. According to the current data, 70% of the total output comes from Gujarat alone. The Morbi ceramic industry in Gujarat will receive an estimated investment of ₹15 billion in 2019, with plans to establish 50 new wall tiles manufacturing plants. The world's third largest ceramic industry is banking on India's love for gaudy tiles

The market is excited about the NDA government’s plan to develop 100 new smart cities as it could boost demand for several other industries. 
 
For instance, Assuming a population of two lakh in each of the 100 cities and four people in each house, the smart city plan would generate demand for 50 lakh new homes. 
 ETIG has identified 10 <keyword id="6354298" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="stocks">stocks</keyword> that will likely be among those benefiting the most from a construction boom.  Asian Paints and Berger Paints together control close to 75% of India’s organised retail paint market. The Indian paint industry, which was growing 1.6-1.8 times the pace of gross domestic product until a few years ago, now expands at twice the speed of <keyword id="35050" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="gdp">GDP</keyword> as consumers shift to branded products.

Considering the expected growth, these stocks look attractive at this level.
 
 
HSIL and Kajaria Ceramics 
 
Despite the slowdown over the past few years, the sanitary-ware and ceramics businesses of these companies have grown at more than 20% and that too without compromising on the profitability or operating margins. HSIL manufactures bathroom products while Kajaria is mainly into tiles manufacturing.

Havells India and Orient Paper 
 
Construction of new cities will result in huge demand for cables, switchgear, lights, bulbs and fans. While Havells has all these in its portfolio, Orient Pa-per (Orient Electrical) is one of the oldest fan manufacturing companies and its other product categories include lighting, water heaters and kitchen appliances.
