B-school students who have been a part of <keyword id="541988" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="SnapDeal">Snapdeal</keyword> internships are often seen giving rave reviews about the company, and it's testimony to the fact that this e-commerce company manifests a great work culture for interns and employees alike. 
 We came across one such review by student <keyword id="186315" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="sakshi-singh">Sakshi Singh</keyword> who studies in <keyword id="3860398" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="shailesh-jain-mehta-school-of-management">Shailesh Jain Mehta School of Management</keyword>, IIT Bombay. She has always been "fascinated by the fast-paced, ever-changing world of e-Commerce." 
 
Sakshi got her first chance to experience the inside e-commerce world when she bagged an internship opportunity with Snapdeal during her summer placements. 
 
"I remember, after the selection process was over, HR tweeted a picture of us and since then I was even closely following Snapdeal all over from news feed to social media. I was waiting for my journey to kick-start," she wrote in her blog on Insideiim.com 
 Sakshi went on to explain why she fell in love with this company and is in awe of <keyword id="219793" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kunal-Bahl">Kunal Bahl</keyword>, the founder of Snapdeal. This is what her feedback tells us about the company: 
 
It's one hell of an easy going place 
"A day before joining, all interns received a mail stating that we needed to be in formals for Induction. So, we showed up in an exquisite Induction Hall the next day, all suited-booted and set to conquer the e-commerce world. But we soon learned that the HR managers were simply messing with us. Snapdeal doesn’t have a dress code. It’s a very open and informal place to be in. During induction, we learned more about Snapdeal and also about the heads of various verticals. They shared their vision for the organization and their functional expertise, which helped me frame the right approach for my coming days at Snapdeal..." 
 
Snapdeal has interactive, warm and motivating employees "Next day, I was warmly received by my mentor and manager and was introduced to the whole team. I was overwhelmed to know that my project was the key KPI of the whole team. But, it struck me - "What should I do now?" The project title was a 5-word sentence, the meaning of which was a struggle to decipher. Even <keyword id="6355629" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Google">Google</keyword> failed to help me. So, I had no option but to bother my team members on the very first day. After a few hours of discussion, I had a roadmap for me. In the course of the next 7 weeks, I interacted with numerous employees from multiple departments. Everybody I met at Snapdeal was very transparent, receptive and extremely supportive." 
 
It offers great exposure and provides superb mentors 
"The real challenge of my project was - In the current set of resources, the system can’t be optimized anymore. It either needed a lot of money or a lot of time. But the system definitely needed improvement. So, I decided to seek some guidance from my mentor. His simple reply to this was - Think innovative, Something new. You are new to the system, and so you don’t have any bias. So, just forget the system in place and find us a solution. 
 
It was here, Sakshi says, where her quest for innovation began. A comprehensive primary research plan was laid out. Right from visiting third party partners to listening to customer comments, competitor benchmarking, mystery shopping, surveys, understanding other functions inside Snapdeal, Sakshi was at her game in full force. "I used to discuss all my ideas with my team and manager, and almost on daily basis. I learned a lot from them. While research helped me in generating ideas, discussions helped me in full-proofing and validating those ideas." 
 
Interns are like permanent employees 
"At one point in time, I almost felt like a permanent employee, not just responsibility wise, but because I was also given the freedom to make my own decisions. I loved my job, I loved my office and I loved the energy at Snapdeal." 
 
There's opportunity for networking with other B-school students and learning from diversity 
"There was one more dimension to my internship. Snapdeal had interns from 15 different B-Schools in India and we all stayed together. This facilitated networking and knowledge sharing. I learned more about other B-Schools as well." 
 
You don't leave before a crazy and fun party 
"We interns had a super duper active WhatsApp group. You’re stuck with some problem, or just need a foosball partner, simply drop a text on WhatsApp group. Not to mention fun parties, Sunday shopping and late evening gossips. On our graduation day, we received an amazing party, heard straight from thwe founder Kunal Bahl, had good food, played kickass games, clicked a lot of pictures and bid goodbye to Snapdeal. 
 
She concluded saying - "The day I landed in Delhi, I had no clue what to expect but as I was leaving, I had a collection of memories and valuable lessons for a lifetime...."

An IIT-B student who interned with Snapdeal shares what she learned and why it was an experience of a lifetime

It was a fan boy moment for the employee of the agency helping <keyword id="6355252" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="UIDAI">UIDAI</keyword> in enrolling citizens for Aadhar when he met ace cricketer <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/heres-how-dhoni-is-giving-captaincy-lessons-to-virat-kohli/articleshow/56933432.cms">Dhoni</a> at his home to collect his biometric data. However, in over enthusiasm, Dhoni’s personal details got shared on social media, leaving wife Sakshi enraged and demanding action from Union Law and Information and Technology Minister <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/indians-dont-steal-jobs-they-create-them-says-ravi-shankar-prasad-amid-h1b-visa-row/articleshow/57689276.cms">Ravi Shankar Prasad</a>. 
 
After Prasad promised prompt action, UIDAI director has blacklisted the agency for 10 years.

The security breach happened in the form of a tweet that the agency's Common Services Center did from its official handle. The tweet carried a photograph of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/heres-what-dhoni-gifted-virat-kohli-after-india-won-series-against-england/articleshow/56757764.cms">Dhoni</a> getting his biometric data registered, and another of his personal details on the Aadhaar website. The tweet with the details was later deleted.

MS Dhoni's Aadhar details leaked; wife demands action from Ravi Shankar Prasad

Sakshi Singh Dhoni, wife of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, unofficially released the first poster of the biopic made on Dhoni’s life on twitter. 
 
Titled “M.S Dhoni - The Untold Story”, the movie is being directed by Neeraj Pandey of “A Wednesday” fame and has <keyword id="1493204" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="sushant-singh-rajpoot">Sushant Singh Rajpoot</keyword> in the lead. The poster of this movie, which will be released next year, shows Rajpoot carrying a bat over his shoulder and wearing Indian captain’s lucky ‘no. 7’ jersey. 
 The movie is a venture of Inspired Entertainment, a unit of <keyword id="240269" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rhiti-Sports">Rhiti Sports</keyword> in which Dhoni owns a reported 15% stake. 
 <keyword id="604629" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sakshi-Dhoni">Sakshi Dhoni</keyword> tweeted “Clearing out all those rumours being carried out past few days.It was all false.. Here you go ....BOOM !!!” 
 
Apparently, the rumours the lady is talking about are the ones that suggest Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was apprehensive about the film. BCCI has confirmed that these rumours were baseless and they had no issues with the movie as long as the film doesn’t affect the cricketer’s professional work. 
 
Off lately, Bollywood is showing a lot of affinity towards Indian sports. The recent success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom has proved that such movies are going to work in the near future as well.

Sakshi Releases The Poster Of Dhoni’s Biopic

<ul><li>Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has invested in <keyword id="4306161" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Cars24">Cars24</keyword>, in its series D round of funding.</li><li>Cars24, which had recently opened up to franchising, aims to have over 300 outlets in India in the next two years. </li><li>It had also received an NBFC licence from the RBI to offer loans for the purchase of used cars. </li></ul>Indian cricketer <keyword id="6354832" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="ms-dhoni">MS Dhoni</keyword> has Ferrari 599 GTO, Hummer H2, the GMC Sierra cars in his stable. His most recent purchase was the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV model that is estimated to cost over ₹87 lakhs in India.

 However, the former Indian captain is now making to make some money out of used cars by investing an undisclosed amount into car marketplace Cars24 and will now also be the startup’s brand ambassador. The investment is a part of the startup’s series D round of funding. “Besides being a fan of all things to do with cars, I am also a fan of new age companies that are disruptive, innovative and shaping the future. CARS24 is definitely one of these companies,” Dhoni said in a statement. Cars24, which was founded in 2015, has grown rapidly over the years and hoped to breakeven by December 2019. Cars24 sells over 13,000 cars every month through its platform and over 4 years has sold 1.6 lakh cars. The startup also recently opened up the doors for franchising, which will help it set-up 300 outlets in tier-2, tier-3 and tier-4 cities over the next two years. It also has the RBI approval to offer loans for the purchase of used cars. Currently present in 35 cities and 150 branches, Cars24 plans to be in 70 cities and 230 branches by 2019. “We only have 2% market share right now of the $30 billion used car market. In India, 5 million used cars are sold every year. Our objective is to take this number of 2% to 20% over the next 5 years,” co-founder and CEO Vikram Chopra had told Business Insider in an earlier interview. Dhoni’s money and brand will go a long way in supporting the dream.
