We will have to resume it when everything's done. But it definitely does cut momentum. I feel like I was going superfast and now it's all on halt...," Alaya told .The actor said she was travelling for work within the country before the pandemic took over and reached home right in time."I had to come back early as I knew all this was happening and knew we are probably heading for a lockdown and there'll be lots of restrictions. When I came back, we went straight into lockdown. <ul><li>Following the controversy around the Saif Ali Khan-starrer <keyword id="1299578" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tandav">Tandav</keyword> when several FIRs were filed against it, Unio Minister <keyword id="119642" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Prakash-Javadekar">Prakash Javadekar</keyword> has announced that the <keyword id="82970" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ministry-of-Information-and-Broadcasting">Ministry of Information and Broadcasting</keyword> will soon come out with a set of guidelines to regulate it.</li><li>The move is a response to the multiple complaints received against several web series on various platforms.</li></ul>In view of the rising number of complaints received against content on various <keyword id="2354450" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Over-the-top">Over-the-Top</keyword> (<keyword id="1245953" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="OTT">OTT</keyword>) platforms, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will soon come out with a set of guidelines to regulate it, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said. Over the past few weeks, Saif Ali Khan-starrer Tandav on Amazon Prime received a lot of criticism with multiple FIRs being filed against it in several states. The ministry had received several complaints against Tandav for its depiction of Hindu Gods in the show and for hurting religious sentiments of people. The announcement by the Union Minister closely follows the controversy. Films and serials released on OTT platforms and digital newspapers do not come under the purview of the Press Council Act, Cable Television Networks (<keyword id="163506" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="regulation">Regulation</keyword>) Act or Censor Board and therefore there will be some guidelines soon to regulate the content, Javadekar said during a press conference. In November last year, the government brought OTT platforms under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s ambit. Previously, these platforms used to come under the <keyword id="3428254" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="ministry-of-electronics-and-information-technology">Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology</keyword>.

Following the Tandav controversy, government to start regulating OTT content

A Pakistani court today banned the Bollywood movie ‘<keyword id="46483" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Phantom">Phantom</keyword>’ after JuD Chief and 26/11 mastermind <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Hafiz+Saeed">Hafiz Saeed</a> alleged it contained ‘filthy propaganda’ against him and his organization. 
 
Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan from <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Lahore+High+Court">Lahore High Court</a> ordered the ban of the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Saif+Ali+Khan">Saif Ali </a><a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Saif+Ali+Khan">Khan</a>-starrer film after listening to Saeed's lawyer and the government’s legal counsel. He also asked the government what could be done to ensure the movie is not available at all after the ban. 
 
The judge asked, "If a movie is banned in cinemas what the government could do to stop it from being available in the market in CDs." 
 
In a High Court petition on 8th August Saeed's lawyer A K Dogar alleged a “direct threat to the life of the petitioner (Saeed) and his associates emanating from the content of the trailer of the film.” 
 "It is obvious that dialogues coming out of the lips of the different Indian actors and actresses will poison the minds of Pakistani public and will portray <keyword id="44106" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Hafiz-Saeed">Hafiz Saeed</keyword> as terrorist even though JuD has not been declared as a proscribed organisation," Dogar said. 
 
The government’s legal counsel said that since no one had asked for a <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=No+Objection+Certificate">No Objection Certificate</a> (NOC) from the government for the release of the movie, the petition was ‘useless’. 
 
"The petitioner is unnecessarily trying to involve the government," he said. 
 'Phantom' is based on Hussain Zaidi's novel ‘<keyword id="2819853" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mumbai-Avengers">Mumbai Avengers</keyword>’ and is set in the aftermath of the <keyword id="630132" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="26/11-Mumbai">26/11 Mumbai</keyword> terror attacks. Pakistan’s <keyword id="62146" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Censor-Board">Censor Board</keyword> has been sensitive about allowing exhibition of Indian films in Pakistan, especially when they are related to the country. <keyword id="333" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Saif-Ali-Khan">Saif Ali Khan</keyword>'s 'Agent Vinod' and Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' were also banned.
