According to a recent report released by Hyderabad-based enterprise digital marketing agency Pyrite Technologies, Sadhguru and Isha Outreach's Conscious Planet are India’s largest advertisers on Meta platforms in social and political causes category. They spent a total of 1.20 crores on Facebook and Instagram. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is an Indian yoga guru. He has more than 8.5 million followers on Instagram, 5.2 million fans on Facebook and 3.9 million followers on Twitter. Sadhuguru's Isha Foundation, according to its website, is also associated with a bouquet of business enterprises such as Isha Raiment, Isha Foods and Spices, Isha Crafts, Isha Naturo Organic Solutions, to mention a few. Following Sadhguru on the largest advertisers list is micro-blogging platform Koo. It spent almost ₹87 lakh on Meta in the 90-day period. Political parties Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and BJP Gujarat also appeared on the list of top Indian advertisers on Meta. It is pertinent to note that as per India's advertising rules, not all Indian brands are not obliged to declare their spends as they don’t fall <a href="https://e4mevents.com/pitch-madison-advertising-report-2021/public/PMAR-Report-2021.pdf" data-type="tilCustomLink">under social causes category.</a> Between April 27 and July 25, Meta saw more than 12,863 advertisers from India and collected ₹13.94 crores in advertising revenues. This investment vehicle will give investors an opportunity to invest in this precious metal without physically holding it. The ETF’s price will be in line with the price movement of silver. Silver prices are driven by its industrial consumption and supply side dynamics. The precious metal is a hedge against the traditional equity-debt portfolio, as silver has low-correlation with both asset classes. However, silver is a high-risk asset class and, therefore, it is more suited to investors who understand precious metals and commodity cycles. A silver ETF can be used to hedge against equity and debt market products in times of volatility. “This new ETF offers investors an easier way to buy or sell silver compared to the physical version with the freedom to trade easily,” said DSP Investment Managers on Monday. Moreover, demand for physical silver is also very high because of its wide use across industries including jewelry businesses, solar panels and electrical conductors. Data suggests that close to 50% of the world's silver is consumed by electronics, auto, power, pharma and many other industries but the supply and availability for recycling is limited. DSP believes that as the world shifts to renewable and cleaner energy resources, there is potential for demand to go up since silver is a crucial raw material. DSP Silver ETF would allow investors to buy the precious metal starting from a ticket size of ₹5000. The new fund offer (NFO) of the Silver ETF opens for subscription on 1 August and closes on 12 August. Besides, silver can also potentially act as leverage against a depreciating rupee. This is because silver prices in India are derived from international silver prices but are then converted after adding currency effects and other costs of landing. “Investing in silver via an ETF is a modern and smart way for investors to gain exposure to this precious metal in an easy, digital form. Increasing demand for silver in industries, newer technologies and a shift to renewable sources of energy and the safe-haven demand can also act as favourable tailwinds for the metal. However, investors should expect fluctuations in short-term returns, especially during times of market volatility,” Anil Ghelani, CFA, head – passive investments and products at DSP Investment Managers. ETFs are a type of funds that are bought and sold the same as a stock on the exchange and the underlying asset in this case would be silver. DSP MF launches silver ETFs amidst market volatility

This year, the International Day of Yoga, marked on June 21, will be commemorated virtually due to the COVID-19-related restrictions in place and requirements of social distancing. "The COVID-19 pandemic has created a new reality for many of us. It has disrupted lives, created loneliness caused by social distancing as it has also led to increased anxiety caused by economic difficulties, fear of illness and worry about loved ones. This is only natural. This year's celebration comes amidst this critical context," UNGA President Tijjani Muhammad-Bande said in a virtual message. In commemorating the International Day of Yoga this year, he said "we recognise the important benefits of practicing yoga and its potential in helping people deal with increased anxiety due to the disruptions caused by the pandemic." In previous years, India's Permanent Mission commemorated the day at a grand scale in the UN premises. However, this time the mission hosted a virtual 'Yoga for Health - Yoga at Home' session on Friday to mark the International Yoga Day at a time when the global outbreak of COVID-19 has upended lives and disrupted lifestyles of people across the world. India's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador T S Tirumurti said the global outbreak of COVID-19 has "upended lives and disrupted lifestyles" of people across the world. "Studies indicate a rise in depression and anxiety among people due to the difficulty in adapting to such lifestyle changes," he said, adding that there is a growing trend of people from many parts of the world embracing yoga to fight social isolation and depression during the pandemic. Tirumurti said to commemorate Yoga Day this year under the theme of 'Yoga for Health, Yoga for Home', the endeavour has been to put together simple yoga modules, carefully designed by experienced yoga gurus, that can be practiced from home by all age groups. Muhammad-Bande said celebration of the International Day of Yoga is a "unique opportunity" to recognise the holistic approach to health and well being provided by the practice of yoga especially in times like this. "Global health is a long term objective that requires close international cooperation and exchange of best practices. Health no longer only implies the condition of not being sick. It's also about being actively well," he said, adding that multiple studies have confirmed the interdependent mental and physical benefits of yoga. "The meaning of yoga is most commonly interpreted as a union - the union of the mind and the body - but it also signifies the interconnectedness of the human body and spirit to all the elements of the world that surrounds us." The specially-designed module included a session by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev on 'Yoga for Respiratory Health' where the spiritual leader spoke about the need and importance of maintaining an inner balance during these challenging times. In a 15 minute session 'Yoga for Soothing the Heart', Yoga Guru Kishor Chandra from the Bhakti Center led followers through asanas and pranayama that will help balance and soothe the heart. A meditation session from Sahaj Yoga on a guided meditation exercise aimed to relax the mind was also part of the module. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev said the coronavirus pandemic is "one of the biggest challenges that we as a generation have faced." "It is most important that we as human beings function at our best. Our physical self, our intellect, our emotional balance everything should be at its best, our innate wisdom must function now because now there is a crisis outside. You cannot afford to create a crisis within you," he said. The spiritual leader underscored that during this moment of pandemic and in the post-pandemic world, "one of the biggest challenges will be psychological crisis that human beings will face. When a problem is thrown at us, we should not become a problem. This is very important. There is no better way to approach life than through the yogic system." Tirumurti said the celebration of the International Day of Yoga is a testimony to Yoga's global appeal and the substantial medical and scientific evidence that acknowledges the efficacy of yoga in promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles. Sleeping with your phone means that it’s much harder for you to connect with your own body’s user’s manual as per Sadhguru. And, that’s where the ‘phone-bed’ comes in. The phone-bed by Thrive, in its essence, is just a charging a station. But more than the bed, it’s about a ritual, Huffington pointed out It’s one of the reasons why the phone-bed comes with its own blanket — people can use it to actually ‘tuck in’ their phones, say good night, and put their phones soundly to bed, outside their own bedroom. Her logic is that human beings learn through rituals and if everyone has one at night, they’re more likely to stick to it. She adds, “Everybody never comes to a point in the day where they say, ‘I’ve done everything that I could’ve possibly have done’ — if you can say that then you don’t have any interest in your job and I suggest you change jobs.” So putting your phone to bed is your way of implementing an arbitrary end to the day — to able to connect with yourself. Huffington iterated that, “Success is not determined by how many hours you spend on your desk, it depends on the quality of your decisions, on your ability to see around corners at what’s going to happen and on your ability to motivate others — to inspire teams. And all of these things deteriorate when we have not been connected with ourselves.” According to her, this is because society is plagued with collective delusion, which actually stems from the first industrial revolution, that the goal for human beings is identical to that of machines — to always be on. But, in fact, a little more downtime could go a long in way making sure that the time we do spend working, is actually more productive.
