Planning and running of additional trains is a continuous process for which inputs are taken from all the communication channels 24x 7 like media reports, Social media platforms, Railway Integrated helpline number 139, apart from details of waitlist passengers in PRS system, to assess demand of trains on a particular route. Based on this requirement, number of trains and number of trips are augmented. Neither the number of trains nor the number of trips run by additional train(s) is static for the entire season. During the summer season, Zonal Railways have been instructed to ensure availability of drinking water at Railway stations. Elaborate crowd control arrangements are made at all major and important railway stations. <keyword id="49492" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="rpf" source="Orion">RPF</keyword> personnel have been deputed at originating stations to ensure Queue system for entry in General Class coaches. Skilled RPF staffs are deployed in CCTV Control Room to keep a close watch on the crowded areas and render real time assistance to passengers. Government Railway Police (GRP) &amp; Railway Protection Force (RPF) staffs are deployed at foot-over bridges to regulate crowd smoothly in order to avoid stampede like situation during the heavy rush period. The car was immediately confiscated by RPF officials and Singh was taken into custody. The incident caused chaos at the Andheri railway station as daily commuters were rushing to catch the local trains to their offices. 
 
Singh is likely to be booked under various sections of the Railway Act.

Briefing reporters about the decisions of the union cabinet, Information and Broadcasting Minister <keyword id="6364468" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="anurag-thakur" source="Orion">Anurag Thakur</keyword> said the decision will be implemented from July 1 this year. "Dearness Allowance for Central government employees and Dearness Relief for pensioners has been increased by 4%. The <keyword id="663200" type="General" weightage="60" keywordseo="DA-hike" source="Orion">DA hike</keyword> will be implemented from 1, July 2023," he said. The decision will benefit 48.67 lakh Central Government Employees and 67.95 lakh pensioners. The minister said the decision has come in the festival season and will benefit both the central government employees and pensioners. Generous bonus for railway employees The Cabinet has also granted approval for a Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) that amounts to 78 days wages for eligible non-gazetted Railway employees. This bonus is for the financial year 2022-23 and will benefit a wide array of railway staff, including Track maintainers, Loco Pilots, Train Managers (Guards), Station Masters, Supervisors, Technicians, Technician Helpers, Points man, Ministerial Staff, and other Group 'C' staff, excluding Railway Protection Force (RPF)/ Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel, read the press release issued by Cabinet. This move comes in recognition of the outstanding performance of the railway employees throughout the financial year 2022-23.
