Post her breakup with actor Ranbir Kapoor, <keyword id="6354850" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Katrina-Kaif">Katrina Kaif</keyword> has kept a brave front and has not shied away from public appearances, be it for the promotions of the movie or any award shows. The latest appearance has come in the form of a picture with actor <keyword id="1320874" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sidharth-Malhotra">Sidharth Malhotra</keyword>, her co-actor from the upcoming movie <keyword id="3025287" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="baar-baar-dekho">Baar Baar Dekho</keyword>. Apparently, the actor took to his social media accounts to share the selfie that was clicked after the duo wrapped up the shooting of Baar Baar Dekho. 
 
It’s the first time that Kaif and Malhotra would be working in a film together, and they have been shooting for the movie in Thailand since a good few days.

We tell you what Katrina Kaif is doing with Sidharth Malhotra

When we heard that <keyword id="3778" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Karan-Johar">Karan Johar</keyword> was making a movie based on a family with two brothers, we were reminded of the success that Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was, even though coming to think of it, <keyword id="39101" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="K3G">K3G</keyword> was nothing but an overdramatic run of emotional problems that could have ended with a round table discussion amongst the elders of the family. 
 When we further came to know that Indian heartthrob <keyword id="1320874" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sidharth-Malhotra">Sidharth Malhotra</keyword> would be starring in the movie along with his Pakistani counterpart <keyword id="2358880" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Fawad-Khan">Fawad Khan</keyword>, we breathed a sigh of relief that these two almost of the same age actors won’t be leaving us in tears, sitting on a white bench not once but twice in the movie. 
 When we came to know that <keyword id="6354526" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alia-Bhatt">Alia Bhatt</keyword> would be the female lead of the movie, we wondered why there were two actors, who were playing real brothers, and one actress in this romantic comedy. However, since Indian cinema is at an experimental stage right now, we thought that it would be better to wait for the trailer before passing any judgement. 
 
Now that the trailer is out, we have only one thing to say, cliché. 
 
The trailer starts with Rahul and Arjun, played by Khan and Malhotra, driving on an empty road in the wee hours of night, with Khan, in his thick Pakistani accent complaining about the driver of another car who is needlessly honking at them. The scene establishes a healthy relation between the two of them. 
 The scene then shifts to <keyword id="51" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rajat-Kapoor">Rajat Kapoor</keyword> and <keyword id="20894" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ratna-Pathak-Shah">Ratna Pathak Shah</keyword>, the parents of Rahul and Arjun, who are always locking horns with each other, even in front of their children. Normal for Punjabis, we think and move ahead to Dadu (<keyword id="6357910" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rishi-Kapoor">Rishi Kapoor</keyword>), the quintessential wheelchair bound grandfather of a Punjabi family, well dressed and counting the last and happiest days of his life. 
 
Next scene shows us that even the younger Kapoor lads are at loggerheads with each other, throwing things at each other which if hit the right target, would make them regret their existence for the whole life. Again, this too is normal for Punjabi siblings. 
 
Alia is then introduced as Arjun’s friend and possible love interest, who coincidentally, also knows Rahul from her past. While she has drinks with Arjun and his friends, she is seen calling Rahul hot, and even kissing him (a fake one, of course, given Fawad’s love for his people’s emotions and more than that, his wife back home). 
 
The trailer then gets intense, when it’s clear that love is blossoming in not two but three young hearts, out of which two belong to real brothers, leading to a series of questions, tears and the revelation of Kapoor family having some secrets only they know of. 
The trailer ends with Rishi Kapoor saying that all he wants is a family photo with the title Kapoor &amp; Sons, since 1921. 
 
Overall, the two-and-a-half minute trailer takes us to a Punjabi family with two sons, who both get into a love triangle and question their priorities in life, but we are not impressed. 
 
All the actors of the movie have, time and again, have proved their mettle, and we doubt if they would fail to deliver good performances in the movie, but what we don’t understand is, why weren’t better scenes from the movie chosen for the first trailer of the movie, and why have the audiences been kept in the dark? After all, it’s a romantic comedy drama, and not a suspense thriller that we should be guessing what’s going on in the minds of the actors. 
 
While the actors look promising and the posters look fun, let’s hope that the next trailers of the movie come out well planned, and are able to raise our expectations from the movie, which sadly have been lowered by the first trailer.

Love triangle, troubled family and sibling rivalry fill up the first trailer of Kapoor & Sons

<keyword id="62161" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dharma-Productions">Dharma Productions</keyword> upcoming movie <keyword id="2780954" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kapoor-and-Sons">Kapoor and Sons</keyword> has raised all the bars of excitement amongst viewers, and for several reasons. One, no one knows anything about the possible plot of the movie; two, there are two male actors, <keyword id="2358880" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Fawad-Khan">Fawad Khan</keyword> and <keyword id="1320874" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sidharth-Malhotra">Sidharth Malhotra</keyword>, and only one female actor Alia Bhatt; and three, the looks of the leading actors in the movie have been kept under tight wraps. 
 
To add to the excitement, we now have the first look of the eldest member of the Kapoor household, and the image tells you how affable and lovely this character is going to be. 
 
Wondering, who the actor is, who could have pulled off this cute character? 
 What if we tell you that this actor has been in the movies for a good four and a half decades now, and belongs to the first family of <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, which coincidentally, shares its surname with the characters in the movie? 
 
What if we tell you that the modest actor likes to identify himself as “the son of a famous father” and “the father of a famous son”? 
 Yes, you guessed it right. This cute little Dadaji is none other than seasoned actor <keyword id="6357910" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rishi-Kapoor">Rishi Kapoor</keyword>, who is on a spree to prove that there is nothing that he can’t do when it comes to acting. 
 
The first look of Dadaji was shared by actor Rishi Kapoor on his Twitter handle, the one that he has been using to interact with thousands of his fans, as well as those of his son, actor Ranbir Kapoor. 
 
The trailer of Kapoor and Sons would be out on 10th February, and in all honesty, we can’t wait to watch both the trailer and the movie. 
The movie has been directed by Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu fame <keyword id="187555" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shakun-Batra">Shakun Batra</keyword>, and Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have composed the music. The movie would also see Sanjay Dutt and Amrita Puri in supporting roles.

Kapoor & Sons has earned itself a ‘Fan’ in Shah Rukh Khan

When the trailer of Kapoor and Sons was launched, we were a bit disappointed because of lack of novelty in the trailer featuring <keyword id="2358880" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Fawad-Khan">Fawad Khan</keyword>, <keyword id="6354526" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alia-Bhatt">Alia Bhatt</keyword> and <keyword id="1320874" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sidharth-Malhotra">Sidharth Malhotra</keyword> with Rajat Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rishi Kapoor. However, soon after, the first song of the movie was launched, which made us take notice of the fact that it could actually be a fun film to watch out for. 
 
And now, the makers have ‘gifted’ us with another number, and our choice of words is not exaggerated, because Bolna, the song featuring the 
male cast and sung by Arijit Singh and Asees Kaur will make you fall in love, and confess your feelings to your loved ones as soon as you can. 
 
The song has been picturised on Sidharth-Alia and Fawad-Alia, which makes it a bit awkward to look at, but the dreamy voice of the actors make it worth listening to, again and again. 
 The lyrics are penned by Dr. Devender Kafir, while the composition is by <keyword id="2864780" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tanishk-Bagchi">Tanishk Bagchi</keyword>, and the song can very well turn out to be the love song of the year. 
 
All actors look dreamy, especially Fawad Khan, who outshines Sidharth Malhotra in some scenes, with his heart-winning smile and pensive look. Alia has managed to look cute, as usual, and the song ends with a kiss between Sidharth and Alia, marking the perfect end but forcing you to hit the replay button.

<keyword id="2938650" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="Online-Music-streaming-company">Online Music-streaming company</keyword> <keyword id="2060236" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Saavn">Saavn</keyword> has raised $100 million (Rs 635 Crores) from Tiger Global Management and few others. This comes in at a time when it is preparing to launch a video service. 
 
The company was valued at $300-400 million. New investors like Quilvest which manage some of the world's richest families also participated in the funding drive. 
 
"We will be investing very heavily in our product roadmap, user acquisition and launching new services like video", Rishi Malhotra, co-founder and CEO said. 
 The current funds would enable Saavn to compete with domestic music streaming providers like <keyword id="18898" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Hungama">Hungama</keyword> and <keyword id="-77" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="gaana">Gaana</keyword>. Apple Music arrived in India last week with the launch of its new streaming service in 100 countries. 
 
"Saavn continues to innovate consumer products designed for India's growing mobile user base," Tiger Global partner Lee Fixel said in a statement. 
 
The size of India's music industry is pegged at Rs 980 Crores. It is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14% from 2014 to 2019, with digital channel or digital music accounting for a 55% share. 
 
Saavn has said it is adding 1 million active users every month, and has increased its user base to 14 million from 11 million in March. The company expects to cross 20 million active users a month by the end this year. Rivals Hungama and Gaana have 50 million and 12 million users respectively.
