Shares of <keyword id="6355199" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="reliance-industries" source="Orion">Reliance Industries</keyword> Limited have outperformed the broader market benchmark indices over the past one month.<br /><br />During the said period, the shares of the company rose nearly 14 per cent against a rise of little over 2 per cent in the benchmark Sensex index.<br /><br />The rally in share prices for the Indian company comes amidst volatility in the global financial markets amid geopolitical war and skyrocketing crude oil prices.Rising gas and fuel prices are expected to bore well for the Indian oil-to-chemical company.<br /><br />Coming to its earnings, it had posted a 41.5 per cent rise in net profit during the Q3FY22 quarter, helped by an uptick in refining and retail businesses, according to reports.<br /><br />Also, an upward revision in prepaid tariffs by domestic telecom majors is expected Ato raise average revenue per user (ARPU) of the telecom operators.<br /><br />In November 2021, Reliance along with Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel raised their prepaid tariffs by around 20 per cent each, respectively.<br /><br />Earlier this month, Nasdaq-listed integrated manufacturing solutions company Sanmina Corporation and Reliance Strategic Business Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, have entered into an agreement to create a joint venture through an investment in Sanmina's existing Indian entity named Sanmina SCI India in order to create a world-class electronic manufacturing hub in India, in line with the country's 'Make in India' vision.<br /><br />At 2.01 p.m., shares of Reliance Industries traded at Rs 2,598.00, up 0.8 per cent from the previous session.<br /><br />Global investment banking firm Morgan Stanley has set a share price target for the company at Rs 2,926, with an "overweight" rating.<br /><br />"Multiple positive triggers are lining up for RIL to outperform. Reliance Industries outshines benchmark index, shares rise 14% in 1 month

The <keyword id="375475" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="future-retail" source="Orion">Future Retail</keyword> counsel on Tuesday informed the Supreme Court that his client is broke and Amazon has driven the firm to its knees, after Amazon's counsel submitted that talks between the parties to settle legal disputes have failed and Reliance is taking over Future's shops.<br /><br />Senior advocate Harish Salve, representing Future Retail, submitted before a bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana that nothing has been transferred and the rent for the shops have not been paid for over two years. "We had no money, which is what we've been telling all forums. Landlords are terminating our leases," said Salve.<br /><br />He also said that Amazon was bringing them to their knees and they were broke.<br /><br />Salve's response came following submissions from senior advocate Gopal Subramanium, representing Amazon, that Reliance is taking over Future Retail stores, despite the highest court direction that no assets will be transferred. "It's been recorded, and during pendency the orders have been flouted...," said Subramanium.<br /><br />At the outset, Amazon counsel informed the top court that efforts at resolving a long-running dispute between his client and Future Retail, have failed. "The efforts did not work and the conversation is over. Nothing is happening," said Subramanium.<br /><br />The counsel for both parties agreed on resuming arbitration proceedings at the tribunal, which have been put on hold by the Delhi High Court.<br /><br />Salve added one can talk about the glory and grandeur of things, "but when we're broke, we're broke". He said the shops' takeover started 15 days ago. "We have no control. Reliance is taking action despite the ongoing litigation. Reliance is taking over. We can't do anything," said Salve.<br /><br />He further added that not one store has been surrendered and Reliance took away the boards as they're entitled to, all our assets are where they are. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, representing Future Coupons, reiterated "the shops are there! What's the point of saying it's been taken over?"<br /><br />Salve added: "We can't do anything. What do we do? We haven't signed anywhere. In fact Mr Biyani went and protested."<br /><br />Another counsel for Amazon said, "So suddenly they are saying there's no money so the shops are taken over? Look at the conduct."<br /><br />The bench said, "Proceedings are going on and everything is happening. We're getting a feeling that by adjourning matter, we're being lenient." Amazon is bringing us to our knees, we're broke: Future Retail tells Supreme Court

Reliance Jio has been complaining about the lack of PoIs and in their defence, incumbent telecos have been claiming to provide enough POIs. This has been going on for way too long and now the matter seems to be dying.<br />
<br /> Bharti Airtel feels the issue regarding PoIs between Jio and other telecos isn’t even an issue anymore because Reliance Jio has been provided with enough PoIs within past few weeks. The market leader also said that it is in the process of explaining the situation to <keyword id="150664" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="telecom-department">Telecom Department</keyword> and <keyword id="6356988" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="TRAI">TRAI</keyword>.<br />

TRAI recommended a steep penalty of Rs 1,050 crore in Airtel, regarding this PoI issue.<br />
<br /> According to <keyword id="366430" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Airtel-India">Airtel India</keyword> and South Asia CEO Gopal Vittal, the company has already provided PoI at a fast pace, but in some cases there were issues of transmission from Jio’s end.<br />

"In literally five weeks we've released thousands and thousands of PoIs, we've never done that in the past 20 years. We believe it's a non-issue because it's an obligation for us to provide PoIs... We provided 2.5 times PoIs than any other player in the market," Vittal told ET.<br />

He also said that Jio’s entry bundled plans would lead to a greater proportion of such plans being brought to the market but there are still several customers who demand voice and data separately.

The company has, however, declined to name its potential telecom partners but Videocon’s chief executive <keyword id="1074397" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Arvind-Bali">Arvind Bali</keyword> said the company is in active discussions with many telecom service providers for buying data at wholesale rates in bulk.<br />

“Telcos, have different business models for MVNOs, and the price primarily depends on volumes, commitment, circle/geography and their own network fill factor in the geography,” Bali told ET.<br />
<br /> <keyword id="30351" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="BSNL">BSNL</keyword> chairman <keyword id="3697228" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="anupam-shrivastya">Anupam Shrivastya</keyword> has also confirmed that Videocon is in touch with them.<br />

Indian telecom operators have taken the tariff war to a whole new level, and now they are looking to offer voice calls for free. India’s largest telecom operator, <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword> today announced two new postpaid plans with free unlimited voice calls. These are essentially data plans that will of course come along with bundled 3G/4G data at a slightly higher price.<br />

Airtel’s new ‘Infinity’ plans will include unlimited voice calling including STD, and calls made on national roaming, free 100 SMS per day, 3G/4G data and free subscription to Airtel’s music and movie apps, Wynk Music and Wynk Movies. The 1GB infinity plan will cost consumers Rs. 1199 and 5GB plan is priced at Rs. 1599. Airtel had launched ‘myPlan Infinity’ offers for its 3G/4G postpaid mobile customers last year.<br />
<br /> Airtel’s move seems to be in anticipation of what <keyword id="2176999" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Relaince-Jio">Relaince Jio</keyword> will do. <keyword id="2003276" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jio">Jio</keyword> may commercially launch their telecom services on 15th August and it is expected to come with differentiated offers including free voicecalls. A report by Bank of America Merrill Lynch(<keyword id="3545435" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="boml">BoML</keyword>) says that Jio’s differentiated offering likely would be “free voice” when Jio commercially launches its telco services. The report says “In our view, it will be “unlimited VoLTE voice” bundled with its data offering above Rs 300/month.” Yes, that's right Jio too may look at offering free voice calls but at a much lower price. Currently a Jio sim comes clubbed with their smartphones starting from Rs. 3000 and it offers unlimited free data to consumers for three months. Having partnered with <keyword id="10591" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Samsung">Samsung</keyword>, Jio is in the process of getting smartphone makers on board to offer their sim bundled with devices.<br />
<br /> <keyword id="15492" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vodafone">Vodafone</keyword> too announced free calls but only as a compensation for call drops. Vodafone will give 10-minute talk time to customers for call drops. "Under Vodafone Delights bonanza - free 10-minute talk time (will be given) to all customers whose conversation gets interrupted for any reason, to avail the benefit" <keyword id="6354923" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vodafone-India">Vodafone India</keyword> said in a statement.<br />

With Jio planning on the move and Airtel having moved with the plan, it is expected that other players are likely to drop their voice call charges. BoML says there is going to pressure on voice revenues/tariff hikes but they do not believe VoLTE voice will materially impact industry voice revenues for the next 12-18 months.<br />

With about 980 million wireless users, India's mobile market trails only that of China. But despite impressive growth rates, many firms are struggling with balance sheets stretched by costly spectrum auctions and rock bottom tariffs, making the telecoms sector in India prime for mergers and consolidations.<br />
<br /> In the first such move in seven years, Reliance Communications (<keyword id="6368075" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="RCom">RCom</keyword>), owned by Ambani's younger brother and rival Anil, has agreed to buy Russian group Sistema's Indian mobile phone business<br />

One thing is clear: India has too many players and too much regulation in this space. Not everybody can make a profitable business out of it on a sustainable basis," a telecoms and technology M&amp;A banker with a leading US bank told Reuters.<br />

"The dealmaking conditions were ripe for many years, but the push is now coming from Reliance's entry into the sector," he said. "There will be a few more deals happening over the next couple of years, and some (players) will fall by the wayside."<br />

Telecom firms ready themselves for deals as Reliance Industries enter the game

The company has just reported a net loss of Rs 6.45 crores incurred in the second half of FY 2013-14. For the year ending FY 2014, the total loss reported is Rs 10.51 Crores.<br />

The company has been spending a lot of money on acquiring different spectrums. Reliance JIO picked up 1,800 MHz spectrum in 18 circles for over Rs 11,000 crores this year. The company is planning to launch its 4G services in the country by the end of the year, which should bring some fresh capital to it and close this gap. <br />

Reliance is again looking like a major force to reckon with in the mobile sector with this procurement. Many reports had stated that the 3G and 4G data prices will come down considerably once Reliance starts its deployment. After this, all eyes will be on RJIL. The dates when RJIL start giving services to the end customers is still unclear, but should be by end of 2014. This will very well be the beginning of a price war in the 3G and 4G space in India, where the end user will benefit the most.<br />

Reliance JIO Acquires 1,800 MHz Band In 14 Indian Circles

The date has been set and in March next year we will see Reliance JIO rolling out the fast speed mobile internet in India.<br />
<br /> According to an ET report, the company is also looking to hire a man power of 3,000 people at state level, to manage and expand the retail and distribution 4G Business. <br /> Reliance has already spent a huge sum on the Indian 4G-LTE setup. Rs 70,000 crores have been disbursed on it, which includes a sum of Rs 24,000 crores on airwaves. They have operating license in all 22 circles (2,300 Mhz) in India that gives them the edge over any other service provider like <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword> or <keyword id="15492" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vodafone">Vodafone</keyword> in the country.<br />
<br /> With the launch these services, price of 3G facilities are expected to come down by a lot and people can opt for 4G packages at the current price of 3G (or slightly higher). Mumbai, Jan 7 () Equity benchmark BSE Sensex rebounded nearly 500 points in opening session on Tuesday as global investors calmed on no further escalation in the mid-east tensions.
<p> After hitting a high of 41,135.47, the 30-share BSE index was trading 450 points or 1.11 per cent higher at 41,126.63. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty rallied 132.25 points or 1.10 per cent to 12,125.30.
</p><p> HDFC Bank was the gainer in the Sensex pack, rallying up to 2.16 per cent, followed by IndusInd Bank, Relaince Industries, Tata Steel, SBI and Axis Bank.
</p><p> On the other hand, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys and HCL Tech were trading in the red.
</p><p> In the previous session, the 30-share gauge ended at 40,676.63, dropping of 787.98 points, or 1.90 per cent. Similarly, the Nifty closed at 11,993.05, falling by 233.60 points, or 1.91 per cent.
</p><p> Meanwhile, on a net basis, foreign institutional investors sold equities worth Rs 103.84 crore, and domestic institutional investors offloaded shares worth Rs 23.70 crore on Monday, data available with stock exchanges showed.
</p><p> According to traders, domestic investors followed Asian stocks that rebounded after a day of no escalation in the US-Iran tussle.
</p><p> The Pentagon on Monday distanced itself from US President Donald Trump's assertions that he would bomb Iranian cultural sites despite international prohibitions on such attacks.
</p><p> Following the news, Brent crude futures fell 1.20 per cent to USD 68.08.
</p><p> Bourses in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul were trading in the green.
</p><p> Exchanges on Wall Street too ended on a positive note on Monday.

Still, it's been thrilling to see how the industry has come together to work on this common goal of making the mobile web great for everyone. Stennis (CVN 74).</p></div><p></p></div></div></p><ul><li><strong>The US Navy overly relies on electronics and automation, according to the US Naval Institute, and it could be its downfall in a war against a major foe like Russia or China.</strong></li><li><strong>US Navy figures have been warning for some time about a lack of fundamental skills that could lead to the US losing its next major sea conflict.</strong></li><li><strong>Russia and China both have a strong focus on countering the US's ability to access electronic and automated systems.</strong></li></ul><hr /><p><br />The US Navy has some of the world's most advanced ships with electronics and automated systems that handle much of the manual tasks involved in the millenias-old craft of sailing - but that same technological strength may be its downfall in a fight against Russia or China.</p><p>"The next war will be analog, and the surface Navy is unprepared for it," Jonathan Panter, a former US Navy Surface Warfare Officer <a href="https://www.usni.org/magazines/proceedings/2018-04/navy-unprepared-analog-war-0#undefined.uxfs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">begins an article in the US Naval Institute's April edition of "Proceedings,"</a> its monthly publication.</p><p>"Reliance on digital technologies is particularly acute in the realms of communications, propulsion systems, and navigation and has produced a fleet that may not survive the first missile hit or hack," Panter writes. </p><p>Panter's comments follow a 2017 that saw two US Navy destroyers suffer massive collisions with container ships. These ships are among the world's best at tracking and defending against incoming missiles flying at hundreds of miles an hour, yet they failed to steer well enough to avoid getting hit by a relatively slow container ship the size of an urban neighborhood. </p><p>"Navigation and seamanship, these are the fundamental capabilities which every surface warfare officer should have, but I suspect if called to war, we'll be required to do a lot more than safely navigate the Singapore strait," US Navy Capt. Kevin Eyer, former skipper of the cruisers Shiloh, Chancellorsville, and Thomas Gates said in December. Eyer was speaking in reference to the USS John McCain's crash with a container ship in the Singapore strait, <a href="https://breakingdefense.com/2017/12/us-navy-is-not-ready-for-major-war-ex-skippers-bob-work/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as Breaking Defense noted at the time</a>.</p><p>"If our surface forces are unable to successfully execute these fundamental blocking and tackling tasks, how can it be possibly be expected that they are also able to do the much more complex warfighting tasks?" Eyer asked.</p><p>The Navy responded to the two major crashes by replacing the commander of its Pacific fleet, but concerns about its reliance on mutable, fallible electronic and automated systems remains an issue. Additionally, the Navy has begun teaching navigation based on the stars to its sailors in an effort to mitigate over-relaince on technology. </p><p>From Panter:</p><blockquote>Navigation, that quiet background endeavor without which missiles cannot be launched or guns fired, is similarly teetering one casualty away from disaster. For a loss of GPS, you switch to another; for a loss of a VMS console, you switch to another. But what happens in a total loss-of-power casualty? Wait until the 30-minute batteries on the GPS and VMS wind down, then switch to a laptop version-also battery-powered. The assumption, of course, is that help will be on the way.</blockquote><p>China has <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com.au/china-jamming-us-navy-jets-off-aircraft-carriers-pacific-2018-4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">deployed jamming equipment to the South China Sea</a>. Russia <a href="https://breakingdefense.com/2018/04/russia-widens-ew-war-disabling-ec-130s-in-syria/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has already begun jamming US Air Force platforms over Syria</a>. This is not going down well with the telcos, we spoke to industry body <keyword id="6373028" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="COAI">COAI</keyword> who is of the view that Jio is playing an unfair game and COAI members (including <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword>, Vodafone, Idea) will no longer extend their interconnect capacity to Jio as they don’t consider Jio as a full fledge telecom operator until they stop their free trial testing and commercially launch their services.<br />
<br /> Mukesh Ambani announced the testing of Reliance Jio services on December 27th, which incidentally is Dhirubhai Ambani's birth anniversary. The test started with employees only free trial offer but soon it was extended to retail consumers through a bundled offer with Jio's range of Lyf mobiles. And now, Jio’s 90 days free trial offer can be availed with the purchase of 19 smartphone brands including <keyword id="10591" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Samsung">Samsung</keyword>, LG, Panasonic, ASUS, Gionee, Karbonn, Lava, Xolo, Videocon, Sansui, Sony, Micromax, YU, Alcatel, TCL, Vivo, Intex and HTC. This fast growing Jio’s ‘free service’ partnership with smartphone makers is adding more fire to the never ending war of words with the existing telecom operators in the country over Jio's trial offer. Telecom operators <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Airtel-Vodafone-Ideas-asks-govt-to-stop-Jios-free-data-trial-offer/articleshow/53647221.cms">have written to the top govt offices</a> including the PMO about Jio's three month free trial offer and how it's helping Jio poach their customers.<br />

Now with Jio growing bigger by the day without having launched their services commercially, telcos have taken a stern stand to stop providing any further interconnect capacity to Relaince Jio. This move can potentially hurt Reliance Jio’s voice services as it is already a huge concern for Jio “It would clearly not be prudent for RJIL to contemplate launching of commercial services with this level of call failures” Jio had said. While telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea have claimed that they have provided Jio with enough interconnect capacity to meet the usual demand of 15 to 20 million customers and now the industry will not extend the interconnect capacity any further until Jio enters the market as a full-fledge telecom player. With the growing number of Jio subscribers this could lead to a huge concern for Reliance Jio and not to mention yet another spark in this never ending battle.<br />

Telcos pull the plug on call support for Reliance Jio as Jio’s ‘free service’mobile partnerships grow rapidly

<br /> The incessant war of words among <keyword id="6354776" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Telecom">telecom</keyword> players over <keyword id="6354504" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="Reliance-Jio">Reliance Jio</keyword>’s free data has now reached the top office of the country. Telecom operators wrote to the Prime Minister’s office complaining that the telecom regulator was biased against incumbent players. Telecom industry had earlier said in a release that they see a “pattern of bias” emerging in <keyword id="6356988" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="TRAI">TRAI</keyword>’s decision.<br />
<br /> On the same concern the telecom operators have now sought an appointment with principle secretary at <keyword id="6365387" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="PMO">PMO</keyword>, Nripendra Misra. Telecom industry body <keyword id="6373028" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="COAI">COAI</keyword> has said that it is “shocked that some of the (TRAI) papers seem to have crafted and timed to serve the interest of new players” hinting at a bias for Relaince <keyword id="2003276" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jio">Jio</keyword>. In the letter sent to the PMO, Rajan Mathews, director general of COAI, said "These papers along with other TRAI decisions seem to point towards a pattern of discrimination against existing mobile operators".<br />

The telecom regulator had recently floated consultation papers on mobile termination charges, termination of internet telephony charges and quality of services and COAI is of the view that all these papers "bode ill for investments, industry's growth, and customer services and upset the well ¬established level playing field paradigm".<br />
<br /> It all started with Reliance Jio’s extensive trial test of it voice and data services where it allowed customers to use its services free of cost for three month. And that clearly did not go down well with the existing telecom operators which triggered the whole spat and led to the operators now reaching the power corridors. Earlier the top telecom operators like <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword>, Vodafone, Idea wrote to the Telecom Secretary asking the Department to stop Reliance Jio’s test trial immediately. COAI in its letter to Telecom Secretary, <keyword id="3030164" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="JS-Deepak">JS Deepak</keyword> said that Jio has already rolled out their complete services under the guise of testing. "This is no test. This is the provisioning of full-¬blown and full--fledged services masquerading as tests”. <keyword id="3820" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mukesh-Ambani">Mukesh Ambani</keyword> led Reliance Jio promptly responded with a letter to the telecom regulator saying "steps taken by COAI in last few days by issuing press releases, alleging unfounded biases with the regulator and by writing letters against test trials are in fact attempts to sabotage the market entry of RJIL”.<br />

Ambani talked about how telcos are obligated to extend interconnect capacity to <keyword id="2003276" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jio">Jio</keyword> for its voice services and how a fair competition will help the industry grow. India’s top telecom operator, <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword> in a statement said, “We welcome Reliance Jio’s entry to the digital world and wish them the very best. We also welcome Jio’s call to leading operators to work together. As a responsible operator we will fulfill all our regulatory obligations as we have always done”. Telecom operator <keyword id="15492" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Vodafone">Vodafone</keyword> also responded to Reliance Jio launch in a statement that finds no mention of Reliance Jio but highlights what the company has to offer “We have always offered great value to our customers, backed by excellent customer service, a nationwide presence, and Vodafone SuperNetTM– our best network ever. We will continue to do so for our hundreds of million customers across the country.”<br />

Mukesh Ambani announced at the RIL AGM that Reliance Jio services will be available for all from the 5th of September. As expected Ambani shook the Industry with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Mukesh-Ambani-announces-disruptive-Reliance-Jio-services/articleshow/53960555.cms">Jio’s offers</a> when it made voice services completely free including when on roaming and data charges at Rs. 50 for 1GB with no up-front payment. To top it all as a welcome offer he announced that Jio services will be available for free till the end of December. Which means everyone can avail Reliance Jio services from 5th of September and use Jio’s service for free till 31st December. Jio certainly has managed to put together a plan that will be difficult for customers to pass on. Although, there has been quite a few adjustments in terms of tariff among telecom operators in the days leading up to Jio’s announcement where Airtel had announced free voice calls and lowered its data tariff. <br />

Telcos had approached top govt offices about uncertainty of Jio’s launch and its free services which went on to become one of the biggest infighting the industry has ever seen. After the Jio announcement telecom industry body COAI said, “Initial advantage will be for <keyword id="6355199" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Industries">Reliance Industries</keyword>, given the empty network... But over time, we will have to see if that can be sustained,". Mukesh Ambani has set a massive target for Reliance Jio to achieve the fastest 100million customer mark in the world. And Jio is aiming to cover 90% of India’s population by March 2017. Now that Relaince Jio is part of the pack, Jio’s real test will be to maintain the quality of services once the traffic volume goes up.<br />

You try to avoid three vendors unless it's a commoditized product. But when there's one vendor, you basically run like hell," he said.</span></span></p><p><span><span>Although it's still at the proof-of-concept level, this could show a looming vulnerability in Intel's data center business, which has been its main growth driver as PC sales have slowed down.</span></span></p><p><span><span>The report added that ARM is hoping to take 25% of the data center market by 2020. Intel, on the other hand, forecasts its data center business to continue to grow at a 15% compound annual growth rate. Last quarter alone, Intel's Data Center Group booked $4.1 billion in revenue.</span></span></p><p><span><span>Morgan Stanley isn't the first major customer to try ARM-based chips in its data centers. Earlier this year, PayPal said it's a happy customer of ARM's server chips and that it's only <a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/04/29/aookied_micro_q4_2015_results/">"<span>one of the many hyperscale data center customers" using ARM-based chips in data centers.</span></a></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>Jim McGregor, principal analyst at Tirias Research, told us in a previous interview that Intel has been raising the price of its server chips, which has upset some customers and made them consider other options.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span style="font-weight: 400;">"That's not a position you want to be in.
