Aryan Khan's directorial web debut is titled 'Stardom'

Directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, the pan-India film released on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It also stars Nayanthara and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword> as well as Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house behind "Jawan", shared the India and the worldwide gross box office collection of the movie on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Highest single day collection ever. Rs 68.72 crore (Hindi). Rs 144.22 crore gross box office collection all languages," the note read. "Three-day worldwide gross box office collection Rs 384.69 crore," the banner said in another post. "Jawan" is a father-son story that addresses social and political issues through its hero, essayed by <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword>. The film raised Rs 110.87 on day two and on the third day, it made Rs 144.22 crore. A Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, "Jawan" is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.

SRK's 'Jawan' earns ₹384.69 crore worldwide in three days

Shah Rukh Khan, the Indian film industry’s global face and one of the most prominent figures in India, has completed 23 super-successful years in the film industry. It was on 25th June 1992 that his debut movie Deewana was released, starring actors Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti alongside the humble debutant Khan. 
 
In these 23 years, Shah Rukh has transformed himself from that humble beginner to the uncrowned king of Hindi cinema. He is one of world’s richest actors with an estimated net worth of more than $600 million. 
 
However, it’s not only his acting and stardom that have earned him all this moolah. Known to have a knack for business, Khan has many a times proved himself to be an even better businessman than an actor. Here are some instances when the world admired the businessman Shah Rukh more than the actor Shah Rukh. 
 
1. When he promised himself that he would rule Mumbai, and went ahead to do much more than that. 2. When he co-founded his film production company Dreamz Unlimited, just years after being in the industry. These films were Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Asoka and Chalte Chalte. Having the confidence to produce big budget movies after spending a little time in the industry proved to the world that Shah Rukh Khan was not just an actor but also an inherent businessman. 
 
3. When he transformed Dreamz Unlimited into Red Chillies Entertainment, which became one of India’s biggest production houses. After the success of Chalte Chalte, Shah Rukh realized that he could do much more with film production than just being a part of the team. He then took over Dreamz Unlimited and transformed it into Red Chillies Entertainment, which went on to become one of the biggest and most successful film production houses in India. 
 
4. When he forayed into other facets of production, and proved to be the best yet again. Not many people know that India’s biggest Visual Effects Studios is owned by Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan. Christened as Red Chillies VFX, the unit handles the special effects of all his home productions and of some other movies as well. The company has won a National Award for its special effects for the 2011 movie Ra.One. He also produces television commercials for various global brands, a strategic move which was much ahead of its time. 
 
5. When he stepped into sports, for cricket and much more. We all know that Kolkata Knight Riders is co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, but did you know that KKR is the richest and the most financially successful IPL team? Reports suggest that to bring financial stability, Shah Rukh made sure that the money he got from the appearances he did for IPL went into the account of his team. He also planned for KKR merchandise, which sold like free cakes, all thanks to his stardom and strategic moves. Releasing the making of the song at a time when filmy buffs are already gung ho about the movie, now isn’t that a great marketing strategy!  Moving on to the video now, it’s full of candid moments showing the fun behind the sets by choreographer Farah Khan, Shah Rukh, Kajol, <keyword id="22746" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="rohit-shetty">Rohit Shetty</keyword> and team in a chilly Iceland while struggling to recreate and capture the romance of the couple amid icy winds. 
 
Contrary to what was being said regarding the overuse of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) when this song was released, the new video showcasing the making of Gerua reveals that the song was actually shot in extreme cold conditions in Iceland and in fact none of it was CGI. Both SRK-Kajol braved the cold to recreate the magic for their fans. 
 Here's the most interesting bit of it: The <keyword id="1665132" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dilwale">Dilwale</keyword> crew ran into a broken plane at the spot! <keyword id="1671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shah-Rukh-Khan">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword> said: “It was surreal. Half broken plane in the middle of nowhere. We did not discover it. Rohit did not break it. It was just like that and the legend has it that the pilot crash landed there and saved everybody.” They decided to even include it in the song. 
 
The video also gives a sneak peek into how Kajol saved Shah Rukh from falling off the valley during their dance sequence, choreographer Farah Khan cribbing about the cold in Iceland, and others in the crew having a good time on sets.

The 'prevue', as the makers dubbed the 2.12 minute long clip, showcases <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword> featuring in several death-defying stunts, songs and mouthing dialogues in his quintessential style. Directed by Atlee of "Theri" and "Mersal" fame, the upcoming pan-India movie also features <keyword id="16829" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="nayanthara" source="Orion">Nayanthara</keyword> and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword>. Mumbai, May 8 () Actor Chitrangda Singh believes it is important to focus on the mental health of women during the lockdown and the whole family needs to come together to help her. The actor also urged women to not push themselves too hard to take care of their families. "The mental health of the women in the family affects everyone and it's important to encourage people to talk about it. People should absolutely not make women feel guilty about having any kind of issue or stress or anxiety. "There is no bravery in fake toughness. We all are weak at times, and it's good to make people feel that it is all okay and normal. I believe the very important step is to talk about it in the first place," Chitrangda said in a statement.She said everyone in the family needs to share the workload and take care of the mental well-being of each other."It won't be difficult if the workload of the family is distributed (between) all the members of the family. I suggest one could help by managing the daily chores or taking turns to help with the kitchen or the kids. "Also, it is extremely important to find some time to talk to her (women at home) and know how she is managing or feeling physically and mentally," she said.The "Bazaar" actor said during the lockdown she is writing a script for a short movie and making Tik Tok videos for her fans.On the work front, she will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh's "Bob Biswas" alongside Abhishek Bachchan. The film produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, will see Abhishek playing Biswas and it is said the movie will serve as spin-off to the 2012 thriller "Kahaani". KKP SHDSHD

His company Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd -along with Kolkata Knight Riders co-owners Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta -has invested in the franchise and CPL’s next edition is scheduled to start from June 20 to July 26. 
 
With T&amp;T, Khan has become the first owner of an Indian Premier League team to own an overseas cricket franchise. 
 
“This is in line with our vision to expand globally. We are thrilled to become part of the cricketing tradition of Trinidad &amp; Tobago. The passion for franchise cricket in the Caribbean is evident with the success of CPL and we hope to bring all the best practices of KKR to the T&amp;T franchise," Khan told Times of India. 
 
KKR, which won IPL in 2012 and 2014, have been ranked the most valuable team with a brand value of $86 million (over Rs 500 crore). 
 
Meanwhile, KKR's chief executive Venky Mysore told TOI, "KKR has been fortunate to be recognised as one of the most professionally managed franchises in IPL. 
 
That experience has encouraged us to expand globally .The idea is to replicate our success in the CPL, keeping the growing interest in this (T20) format in mind." 
TOI reported Trinidad &amp; Tobago has a population of about 1.3 million, with people of Indian origin comprising almost 38%, making them the single largest ethnic group. 
 
“If Khan's attempt to tap the Indian expat audience turns out to be successful, the game will move entirely to a new level," added Mysore. 
Dwayne Bravo, Darren Bravo, Samuel Badree and Kevon Cooper are a part of T&amp;T, including Kamran Akmal and Johan Botha.

Shah Rukh Khan now owns a team in the Caribbean Premier League!

New Delhi, Mar 19 () Social media app Likee on Thursday said it has crossed 115 million month active users globally and that it sees a huge growth potential in India. The short video platform, developed by Bigo Technology, claims to have recorded 208 per cent growth in its active user base. "According to the report released by the company for October-December 2019 quarter, the monthly active users (MAU) of Likee reached 115.3 million from 37.4 million in the corresponding period of 2018, representing an increase of around 208 per cent on yearly basis," Bigo Technology Pte Vice President Mike Ong told . Ong attributed the growth in MAU to expansion of geographical coverage, augmentation of monetisation capability, among others. "We continued to expand Likee's geographic coverage, refine its content offerings, and augment its monetisation capabilities. As a result, Likee's total MAU swelled, representing a whopping increase on yearly as well as sequential basis," he said. The company, which now operates across 180 countries, sees India as a promising market with a large growth potential. "Likee is growing rapidly and has seen a strong momentum globally. Likee is evolving to be the most favoured short video platform among its audience. India provides a huge scope for growth and will stand to be a promising market for us in the future as well," Ong said. Likee was released in 2017 after which the Singapore-based Bigo Technology partnered around 10 Bollywood production houses to push user engagements in India.
