"With this shift in focus of our business comes a significant change in our organisational structure, and Mojo Vision has reduced staffing across a variety of departments and functions," Perkins said in a statement late on Friday. Shark Tank India: Gear Head Motor rides high, secures funding from Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal

In a first major setback for the BJP after coming to power at the Centre last year, the party could not manage even a two-digit figure in the Delhi Assembly elections. The magnanimity of AAP’s victory took even political pundits by surprise. Although all exit polls had forecast that AAP would win the elections, none of them had projected such a massive victory. India Today-Cicero exit poll had estimated 38-46 seats for AAP and 19-27 for the BJP in the 70-member Assembly. The exit poll conducted by Chanakya for News 24 had projected 48 seats for AAP and 22 to the BJP. 
 Meanwhile, the <keyword id="1575" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Congress">Congress</keyword> was totally decimated and it could not even open its account. This is testimony to the fact that AAP has eaten into the vote share of the Congress. 
 
AAP’s promise of ‘corruption-free’ government caught the people’s fancies and it scored over the BJP’s rhetoric of development. AAP offered better and ethical politics, which is not there to be found in the conventional political parties. It also has a policy of not compromising on four C’s of the prospective candidates: corruption, character, communalism and criminal cases. For instance, it cancelled the ticket of its candidate from the Wazirpur constituency after receiving a negative report about him. 
 
Having won the people’s mandate by such an overwhelming majority, now AAP needs to live up to the expectations of the people. And this is what lies in their agenda now. “I had told you that anything less than 36 seats would be like a defeat for us. Now that we have won, we will focus on implementing our agenda, and the Jan Lokpal will be on the top of that,” senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia, who is likely to become the home minister, told Business Insider. 
 
It remains to be seen whether the two-year-old party justifies the immense faith that the people of Delhi have reposed in it.

AAP ki aandhi uproots BJP’s lotus

MLA Narayan Dutt Sharma, who quit the AAP recently, will contest the February 8 Delhi Assembly election from his Badarpur constituency on a BSP ticket. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced its first list of 42 candidates. The party has decided to field its nominess in all 70 seats in Delhi. Another list is expected on Sunday. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) denied Sharma ticket this time and has fielded Ram Singh Netaji, a Congress leader and former MLA who joined the party recently. Ram Singh Netaji had won the Assembly elections in 2008 from Badarpur on a BSP ticket. The BSP won two seats in the 2008 elections. Of the 42 candidates fielded by the BSP on Saturday, eight belong to the Scheduled Castes.

AAP and JJP Candidate list for Haryana in Lok Sabha Election

The <keyword id="6354944" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="aam-aadmi-party">Aam Aadmi Party</keyword> (<keyword id="6356115" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="AAP">AAP</keyword>) on Wednesday won four out of five seats in the municipal bypolls in Delhi. The <keyword id="1575" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Congress">Congress</keyword> managed to win one seat, while the ruling <keyword id="58687" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bharatiya-Janata-Party">Bharatiya Janata Party</keyword> (<keyword id="14666" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BJP">BJP</keyword>) failed to get any. The AAP secured two seats in East Delhi (<keyword id="2054040" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kalyanpuri">Kalyanpuri</keyword> and Trilokpuri municipal wards) and two in North Delhi (Rohini and Shalimar Bagh). Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national president Avirnd Kejriwal congratulated the party workers for the win. He tweeted, "People in Delhi have once again voted for work. Congratulations to all. People were fed up with 15 years' rampant corruption of BJP in <keyword id="55093" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="MCD">MCD</keyword>. Now people want to hand over MCD to AAP." AAP's national spokesperson and MLA Raghav Chadha tweeted, "AAP wins semi final decisively, with roughly one year to go for MCD finals in 2022. It is time for Delhiites to put an end to the 15 year corruption plagued rule of BJP in MCD. Rajya Sarkar mein bhi Kejriwal, MCD mein bhi Kejriwal, Phir chalegi double engine ki Kejriwal sarkar". Polling was conducted on February 28 at 327 polling stations and 26 candidates were in the fray. Voting for the five municipal wards was recorded 50.86 per cent. Out of total 2,42,414 eligible voters, 1,23,299 people had casted their votes on Sunday. Kalyanpuri, one of the three municipal wards under the east civic body recorded the highest vote turnout with 59 per cent followed by Trilokpuri with 55.95 per cent and Chauhan Banger ward with 55.60 per cent. Two other municipal wards under North civic body -- Rohini C recorded 44.58 per cent and Shalimar Bagh saw the lowest share of votes The five wards where bypolls were conducted included Rohini C and Shalimar Bagh under North civic body, Trilokpuri, Kalyanpuri and Chauhan Banger under East Delhi Corporation. Shalimar Bagh ward is reserved for women; Trilokpuri and Kalyanpuri are reserved for SC category.
