New Delhi, The <keyword id="40807" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="election-commission" source="Orion">Election Commission</keyword> on Wednesday changed the date of polling for the Rajasthan assembly elections from November 23 to November 25 citing "large-scale" weddings and social engagements. In a statement, the EC said the decision was taken following representations made by various parties and social organisations for a change of the date of poll "considering large-scale wedding/social engagements on that day (November 23) which may cause inconvenience to large number of people, various logistic issues and may lead to reduced voters participation during poll". "The Commission, having considered these factors and representations, has decided to change the date of poll from 23rd November, 2023 (Thursday) to 25th November, 2023 (Saturday)," it added. The counting of votes will take place as scheduled on December 3, along with the same for four other state assembly polls. The poll panel announced the assembly poll schedule for <keyword id="13051407" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="rajasthan-madhya-pradesh" source="Orion">Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh</keyword>, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram on Monday.

Also, the limit on the number of guests in wedding functions, which was 200 earlier, has been lifted now. The new guidelines were issued on Monday evening. <keyword id="6368049" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="home-department" source="Orion">Home Department</keyword> principal secretary <keyword id="135505" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="abhay-kumar" source="Orion">Abhay Kumar</keyword> issued orders that Classes from 1st to 12th in all the government and private schools as well as the private and government universities can be started from November 15 with 100 per cent capacity. In all coaching institutes, both educational and non-educational staff will also be able to come in full capacity and students will be able to study in 100 per cent capacity. The state government has also lifted the restrictions on the number of people attending the marriage ceremonies or other auspicious works. Along with this, political, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious gatherings, festivals celebrations, etc., are also permitted in public places. The Home Department said that there has been a steady decline in positive Covid cases. The state reported four new positive cases on Monday and has a total of 42 active cases so far. Meanwhile, it said that masks shall continue to be mandatory for the general public and testing, tracking and other treatment protocols and vaccination drives will continue. It is necessary to follow parameters regarding sanitisation, social distancing and ventilation in closed places.

Mysuru King Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar tied the nuptial knot with Trishika Kumari Singh, who is the daughter of Harshvardhan Singh and Maheshri Kumari from the Dungarpur royal family in Rajasthan. 
 Amba Vilas Palace, the iconic <keyword id="110259" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mysore-Palace">Mysore Palace</keyword>, was completely decked up with grandeur for the big fat wedding of Wadiyar family’s scion Yaduveer (24). 
 
The historic Mysore Palace witnessed a royal wedding for the first time 40 years. 
 
More than 80 royal families and a thousand dignitaries from India and abroad witnessed the wedding. 
 
The wedding rituals took place at the kalyana mandapa 9.05 a.m. and 9.35 a.m. 
 
As per rituals, King Yaduveer took an oil bath, followed by a series of ceremonies. 
 
As per customs, the rituals were held in Mysore Palace in the presence of Pramoda Devi, the Queen mother and other family elders. 
 
The big ticket, glorious wedding was a treat to the eyes and was complete royalty. Mysore kings known as Wadiyars ruled present day Southern Karnataka for over 550 years.

On Christmas this year, a Gujarat-based diamond trader organised a <keyword id="636243" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="mass-wedding">mass wedding</keyword> and married off as many as 236 girls who have lost their fathers. 
 
Meet Mahesh Savani from Surat who organised Hindu, Muslim and Christian wedding on December 25. 
 
"I feel extremely proud for organising such a mass wedding....my son Mitul and my uncle's son Jay also got married during the ceremony," said Savani of Savani Group. 
 
"Of these 236 girls, five were from Maharashtra, three from Rajasthan, one from Bihar and rest were from Gujarat. During the 'Kanyadaan', we gave them clothes, ornaments, utensils and five house appliances each," he said. 
 
Savani has been organising mass weddings since last five years. "I have now become a proud foster-father of 708 fatherless girls who were married off by my family in the last five years," he said. 
 
As per reports, Savani gave gifts of gold and household items, including sofas and beds, worth Rs 5,00,000 to each of the brides to help them start married life. 
 
Savani started organising mass weddings after one of his own employees died just days before his daughter’s wedding. The cost of the wedding is not known.

A spokesperson also said that it's much more popular with users in the 18-34 range than the 35-55 range.Some of the most popular destinations are Spain, Chile, Italy, and Scotland, where the women in the Pinterest boards wander down colorful, winding streets, savor gelato, or gaze at the ruins of old castles.Channeling the best-selling solo travel memoirists Cheryl Strayed and Elizabeth Gilbert, "wander women" post photos that show them with their arms spread wide, taking in the saturated scenery around them, and looking incredibly free. With their on-trend backpacks slung over their shoulders, they pose with locals, don't bother with makeup, and ride elephants.
