The wedding ceremony was held at the Leela Palace. If sources are to be believed, bride Parineeti Chopra wore a wedding outfit designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. In a video captured by ANI, bidai song 'Kabira' from 'Yeh JawaHai Deewani' can be heard playing at the wedding venue while marriage rituals are being performed. Earlier in the afternoon, the baraatis arrived on a boat adorned with decorations that showcased glimpses of Mewar tradition. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were spotted making their way to the wedding ceremony. Tennis star Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, <keyword id="6354944" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="aam-aadmi-party" source="Orion">Aam Aadmi Party</keyword> MP Sanjay Singh, Shiva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, and Manish Malhotra also marked their presence at the starry wedding. Raghav opted for a black indo-western ethnic outfit, while Parineeti sported a shimmering embroidered outfit with a beaded cape layered over it. Before arriving in Udaipur for the main wedding festivities, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a sufi night for close friends and family members in Delhi. The couple got engaged on May 13 in Delhi. The star-studded ceremony was attended by several politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. Parineeti and Raghav reportedly knew each other for several years before they began dating. The love story of Raghav-Parineeti might have blossomed in London as reportedly the duo studied together in a college there. Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti will share screen space with Diljit Dosanjh in Chamkila. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film revolves around two famous Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. Lok Sabha Election 2019: AAP Candidate list for Delhi

Chadha inducted Sehgal into the AAP at Naraina Vihar Club in the presence of several residents. Miss India Delhi 2019 Mansi Sehgal joins Aam Aadmi Party

Ramesh Bidhuri vote share towers over Vijender Singh and Raghav Chadha

One of the important constituencies of the 7 seats of the Delhi union territory, South Delhi attracts the attention of the observers countrywide while the election results are being out. The key candidates in South Delhi Lok Sabha seat are Ramesh Bidhuri of BJP, AAP’s Raghav Chadha and Vijender Singh of the Congress party. The sitting MP from this seat is BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri who is going for reelection from his winning constituency. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ramesh Bidhuri won this seat by defeating Col. Devinder Sehrawat fielded by the AAP by securing 45.20 percent of votes in this constituency. A total number of 19 candidates are contesting from the South Delhi constituency in 2019 Lok Sabha elections and are now waiting for the results. The number of women candidates fighting from this constituency is 2. Before becoming the MP for the BJP following his victory in the 2014 general elections for the Lok Sabha, Ramesh Bidhuri was a three times MLA from Tughlakabad. Chadha was the national level spokesperson for the AAP who also served as the advisor to the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. Right from 1989 to 2009, this seat has been a stronghold for the BJP.

Vijender Singh vs Raghav Chadha, lok sabha election results 2019

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday issued notice to <keyword id="1996659" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Delhi-chief-minister-Arvind-Kejriwal">Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal</keyword> and five other AAP leaders in a defamation suit filed by <keyword id="6391015" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Finance-Minister-Arun-Jaitley">Finance Minister Arun Jaitley</keyword>. 
 
The court sought replies from Kejriwal, Kumar Vishwas, Raghav Chadha, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh and Deepak Bajpai by February 5, 2016. 
 
Jaitley has sought Rs.10 crore in damages following the AAP leaders' statements on alleged Delhi and District Cricket Association irregularities. 
 
Jaitley also filed a criminal defamation complaint in a Patiala House court, saying that the statements of these leaders would cause "irreversible damage" to his reputation. 
 
Jaitley headed the DDCA for 13 years till 2013. 
 
Kejriwal has demanded that Jaitley must resign or be removed as union minister to enable free and fair probe into the DDCA issue.

He said as a result of the step proposed by <keyword id="19956758" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Finance-Minister" source="keywords">Finance Minister</keyword> Nirmala Sitharaman in the Budget 2024-25, individuals selling old properties will incur higher tax outgo. "If you do not bring back indexation three things will happen in this country. First, <keyword id="19895437" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="investment" source="keywords">investment</keyword> in real estate will go down and people will never be able to buy their 'dream homes'," Chadha asserted. He further said there will be undervaluation of property deals, people will buy properties at 'circle rates' and will never disclose the real value of the property. "Third, there will be a huge inflow of <keyword id="20592248" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="black-money" source="keywords">black money</keyword> if you don't roll back this decision to withdraw indexation," he said. In the Union Budget 2024-25, the government proposed reducing the long-term capital gains tax on immovable properties to 12.5 per cent from 20 per cent, but removed the indexation benefits to adjust for inflation. As per the Memorandum to the Union Budget, with rationalisation of rate to 12.5 per cent, indexation available under Section 48 of the Income Tax Act has been proposed to be removed for calculation of any long-term capital gains, which is presently available for property, gold and other unlisted assets. Chadha also highlighted the high tax burden faced by common people and asked for a comprehensive review of both direct and indirect taxes. "We impose taxes like the Europeans do, to get services like sub-Saharan countries," he added. Taking part in the discussion, Debashish Samantaray of the BJD said the central government has given a raw deal to all eastern states like Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal in the Budget. He charged that in spite of Odisha giving 20 seats to the BJP, there was hardly anything for the state in the Union Budget. He noted that "regional aspiration should be addressed", and asked the central government to treat all states as equal. RJD's Sanjay Yadav attacked the government stating the Budget had nothing for the poor and marginalised and only catered to the rich and powerful. He noted that his party has been demanding special category status for Bihar for a very long time. Yadav said instead of dividing people on the basis of religion and caste, the government should work towards generating employment in the country. Medha Vishram Kulkarni of BJP and Rajani Ashokrao Patil of INC also participated in the debate. C V Shanmugham of AIADMK said allocation in the Budget does not significantly address the pressing needs of Tamil Nadu's infrastructure, health care, Social justice and education. The government has mentioned 76 projects in Tamil Nadu, but most of them are pre-existing ones getting a facelift. Moreover, in the Budget, no help in flood mitigation was provided, despite the state being prone to cyclones. There is no mention of a linkage of Kaveri and Godawari in the Budget, he said. Samirul Islam of AITC said this Budget is anti-people, anti-poor and anti-Bengal. It only satisfies Bihar and Andhra Pradesh's allies and is to save the government. "The Budget has deprived Bengal," he said. It has also ignored the people, especially the unorganised sector. 83 per cent of India's workforce is employed by unorganised sectors and failed to announce a comprehensive scheme for them and migrant workers, he said. M Mohamed Abdulla of the DMK said the Budget has provoked a constructive debate and disappointment in Tamil Nadu, a state known for its economic contributions. Tamil Nadu expected support and recognition in the budgetary allocations, but received nothing. The government is supposed to represent the people of the country as a whole. However, it is very unfortunate and unfair to see unequal distribution to the state governments, especially for the non-BJP ruled states like Tamil Nadu which provides the highest tax for the government, he said.
