These are the reasons why students and professionals, especially in India, aspire to work with this company.

In a chat with <keyword id="3558244" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="radha-shreeniwas">Radha Shreeniwas</keyword>, HR Business Partner, Director at <keyword id="28120" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Linkedin">LinkedIn</keyword>, this woman leader shared with Business Insider exclusively some of the qualities that can help you land a job at LinkedIn.

1) You have to be the best in your game 
 
"We have a very rigorous interviewing process. If somebody is joining our Technology team for instance, they better be one of the best Technologists out there. Our leadership is very hands on and extremely active. Leaders just don't give out orders, they are coders themselves and they develop some great things. We really focus on knowing those skills extremely well." 
 
2) You have to fit into the <keyword id="3558245" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="linkedin-culture">LinkedIn Culture</keyword> well 
 
"We also look for candidates who will fit our culture perfectly." 
 
If you want to work at LinkedIn, you have to reflect what its culture stands by - every employee here has the opportunity to transform themselves (leave LinkedIn a better professional than when you started), the company (help the company realize its full potential), and the world (create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce).

3) Leadership skills is a must, it matters more than just being result-oriented 
 
"We focus on a structure called Leadership, Leverage and Results. A lot of companies rely highly on results. They want people to deliver, even we do. But it is not the only thing we want. We want Leadership and Leverage which come first - What are the Leadership Skills you can put on the table? What is the Leverage you can bring to your team and to the community you operate in. Results follow. So, let's just say we are a results-focused organization but there is great emphasis on leadership."

LinkedIn, one of India's most liked employers, looks for these Qualities when hiring

When we went down to the <keyword id="28120" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Linkedin">LinkedIn</keyword>’s Bengaluru office recently, we learnt about a few interesting HR policies this company has in place for employees. Going around the office, we saw that a lot of what is provided by the company is actually being used by the employees. 
 
Radha Shreeniwas, HR Business Partner, Director at LinkedIn, told us – “We want to treat our employees beautifully, and inspire them to live and breathe the LinkedIn culture. For this, we have some great initiatives in place for our employees, that ensure they don’t just treat office as a boring workplace, but spend good time when they are here.” 
 
Radha took us through some of these initiatives, and it says a lot about why LinkedIn employees are one of the happiest in the industry: 
 
LinkedIn’s beyond amazing office 
 
Spread across two floors and over 2 lakh 30,000 sq ft, the office is not only massive, it's beyond amazing. Divided into several colour and theme zones, the office houses new age design unlike anywhere else. Equipped with state-of-the-art work stations, meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, cafeteria, and newest furniture, it’s a pretty cool space and doesn’t look like the usual dull and serious workplace. 
 
Radha says - “We try to integrate beautiful space for our employees. In this day and age, people want to bring their whole selves to work. They want to integrate life and work. Our spaces reflect just that.” 
 
LinkedIn’s wellness activities 
 
With two gyms, a yoga room, a music room, shower rooms and a sleeping room, LinkedIn leaves no room for employees to feel unhappy. 
 
Radha says - “Our wellness programs are integrated into the day. Employees also get free T-shirts and shorts, and are free to take a 45 minutes yoga session or hit the treadmill for a while to feel energized before heading into their next meeting. It helps them be more mentally focused on work.” 
 
The office has many other recreational areas, including a cafeteria, bar, indoor games area for foosball, snooker and table tennis. 
 
 
Wifi-enabled cabs 
 
Every employee travelling for official work gets free ac wifi-cabs to commute, and free stay in the best hotels across the country. 
 
Free food to satiate tastebuds 
 
Another key attraction of the office is its kitchen, which reportedly has a range of Indian, global and live-food counters, where employees are served hot multi-cuisine meals free of cost all through the day.

Imagine having one day a month at work where you’re free from your daily responsibilities and meetings to do something different. Perhaps you would work on a new idea, pursue an area of interest, learn new skills in a different area of the company, volunteer in the local community, or just do something fun for the day with your coworkers while getting paid. Such a concept is the reality for LinkedIn’s employees. 
 
Radha says - “One Friday a month LinkedIn’s employees enjoy an in-Day. It’s a day LinkedIn gives back to its employees to transform themselves. Each inDay has a theme based on employee suggestions. A suggested team direction and vision for how employees can spend the day is given but is not mandatory. Employees can also choose to work on their own projects during this time. The goal is to learn something new, get inspired, have fun and take a break from day-to-day responsibilities.” 
 
“We encourage managers to participate in in-Days, and pull themselves up as role models for their team members. If they sit at their desks, so will their teams. Therefore, we engage the leadership in such activities too,” she adds. 
 
LinkedIn employees are using these in-Days to focus on different areas like culture, relationships, career, and environment. Some also use it to read books. 
 
LinkedIn for Good 
 
Recruiting for Good (RFG), is one of LinkedIn’s many incredible initiatives to actualize our vision of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. It puts together teams of LinkedIn employees to support non-profits in their recruiting process by advising non-profits on their process, sourcing high-caliber candidates, screening them, and providing a shortlist of top-tier talent which a non-profit can engage with further.
