Talking about the August release 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', Arjun said: "You can definitely expect part three, we do want to make it a franchise and we have exciting ideas for the lineup." "A sizzle reel from the Pushpa franchise is being screened on the sidelines of the Berlin European Film Market in order to seed it as a brand for international audiences. There will also be a fan screening of 'Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1', added the actor, while talking to Variety. Berlin will be Arjun's first time in Germany and his first time at a film festival. "I just want to see how people abroad are going to see this film, and try to understand how they view Indian cinema, just understand how film festivals are and what kind of films are watched and what is the mindset of the people that come there," Arjun said. "More than the theatrical reach of 'Pushpa,' the OTT (streaming) reach has been multifold," Arjun said. "A lot of people maybe during the theatrical release have only watched it once or twice. But after it's available on OTT platforms like Amazon, people have watched it multiple times. And because of the OTT platform, there's a lot of crossover audience from other languages, and other regions and neighboring countries. And also it made a noise because it was the biggest film (in India) of 2021. "I didn't find much of a difference the way urban Indians have watched the film and people overseas. And I think urban Indians are similar to global audiences. So all the things that they have liked in terms of the candidness of the film or the performances, I've got similar feedback from urban audiences in India and overseas," Arjun said. 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is due to release August 15, during the Indian Independence Day holiday frame. "'Pushpa 2' is going to have a very different shade of Pushpa than what you've seen in 'Pushpa 1,' because it is the lower end of the spectrum that you've seen," Arjun said. "You'll see the highest end of the spectrum in terms of characterisation. So you'll see him on a very high note, you'll see him on a very high scale, in terms of characterisation, in terms of this scale and presentation and the canvas of the problems are going to be much bigger than what it was compared to 'Pushpa 1.' It's going to be a bigger canvas, and there is a different dimension to the characterisation." Towards the end of the first part, the character Pushpa assumes de facto control of the syndicate. "Till then it was playing on a regional scale, now it will play on a national and international scale," Arjun said. National Film Awards: Allu Arjun named Best Actor; Alia Bhat, Kriti Sanon share top honours

Jayalalithaa’s confidant VK <keyword id="6358664" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sasikala">Sasikala</keyword> has been unanimously elected as her successor and will take over as General Secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). 
 
Sasikala, a close friend and confidant of Jayalalithaa, was chosen to head the party. 
 
Reportedly, the General Council body of AIADMK passed the resolution to elect Sasikala Natarajan as the General Secretary almost unanimously. However there were few dissent notes as well. The post fell vacant following the demise of party general secretary and Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa on December 5. 
 
The meeting was attended by over 2000 party workers, but Sasikala wasn’t present there. 
 
Yesterday, clashes broke out between AIADMK workers and supporters of Rajya Sabha member Sasikala Pushpa outside the ruling party's office in Chennai. 
 
Sasikala Pushpa had earlier expressed her wish to contest for the party's general secretary post. Sasikala was expelled from the AIADMK sometime back but did not resign from the Rajya Sabha.

When I reached out to Piyush Pandey, Chief Creative Officer Worldwide, Ogilvy, for our weekly chat show, BTS with Insiders, we initially wanted to talk about three ads that he had worked on over the course of his career that he held close to his heart. However, considering how the week had panned out, Pandey was mourning the loss of the two actors too, and it only seemed fitting that we speak about some of the gems he had created over the years, not just with Khan but also with a few other actors. Episode 3 of BTS with Insiders saw us talking to Pandey about Irrfan Khan, who was the face of Hutch and acted in around 18 ads for the brand, Pushpa Joshi, who took the nation by storm just by a few seconds of her presence as a kabaadiwaali in Fevikwik’s recent ad, and actors Atmaram Bhende and his wife, Asha Bhende who were a part of SBI Life’s campaign, close to 10 years back. Each of the four actors had something in them that took the stories Pandey wanted to tell, and turned them into unforgettable gems. Irrfan Khan - Hutch When Ogilvy wanted to create a series of ads talking about Hutch’s new recharge packs, and the agency wanted the ad to speak the language of the common man, simply to make it more relatable, and to drive its simple point across, that Hutch will give you the most value for your money. Ever since the passing away of Khan, people across the country, in their numerous tributes to the actor have mentioned about his portrayals being relatable. He made us feel that he was one of us. It was perhaps this quality that made V Mahesh and Rajiv Rao, along with the Hutch team decided to cast Khan in the ads. “Irrfan was not a masses man only through his cinema. He was a fantastic symbol of a common man, and an amazing actor. Rajiv and Mahesh, along with Shashanka Chaturvedi (aka Bob) of Good Morning Films who directed the films thought of Irrfan,” shared Pandey. The brand and agency had initially thought of coming up with 3 films. “We ended up doing 18 eventually,” shared Pandey with a laugh. “Everybody loved him because he was so credible and amazing,” he added. What made the ads memorable was the fact that they were written the way a common man speaks. “And while I was not present at the shoot, I am pretty certain that Irrfan would have added his bits to it. You cannot work with a big actor without using his abilities beyond acting because they come up with the little things that add magic. And magic is exactly what he created. Today, when he is a lot more popular, one could have done a lot more with him but in those days, he was not known to billions of people because that wasn’t exactly his kind of cinema. And yet, he walked in and stole the show, every single time,” said Pandey. He also shared that he kept making plans with Irrfan to meet up in Jaipur, which is where both of them grew up, but it never really materialized. “We made a whole lot of plans to fly kites together in Jaipur but unfortunately the opportunity never came, and he flew away from our midst,” said Pandey. Pushpa Joshi - Fevikwik Pandey has been weaving magic for one of Ogilvy’s oldest clients Pidilite for years now. Who can forget some of the old gems created for brands like Fevicol and Fevikwik. Bharat Puri. Managing Director at <keyword id="260169" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pidilite-Industries">Pidilite Industries</keyword> often says that Ogilvy isn’t really a creative partner for them, rather they almost are the owners of the brand. It is perhaps this confidence in Pandey and his team that made Pidilite agree to casting octogenarian Pushpa Joshi, who played the role of a kabaadiwaali, in Fevikwik’s recent adorable campaign and wooed the entire nation with her endearing charm. It was Pandey’s brother <keyword id="1397913" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Prasoon-Pandey">Prasoon Pandey</keyword>, who thought of casting Joshi in the ad. “Pushpaji was cast in the ad with a bit of difficulty, with due apologies to my young clients at Pidilite. They were apprehensive because how you can get somebody so old to act? And my brother Prasoon Pandey who directed the ad said, ‘There’s no retirement age for a kabadiwali’. When she came to the set though, Prasoon himself was a little worried because she arrived in a wheelchair. But soon she just picked up and gave us the performance of a lifetime. The ad took the nation by storm just because of what she did and what the director did with her,” shared Pandey. While Pushpa Ji, as everybody lovingly called her, won everyone’s hearts just by coming on the screen for a few seconds, Pandey rued the fact that they had not discovered her earlier. “I don’t recall seeing Pushpa Ji in any other ad. Maybe we weren’t really good at sourcing her. We didn’t find her earlier enough but when we did, she left us with the impression of a lifetime. For our younger audience, there’s a lesson here. It’s never too late to start. If you have a talent, just go out and play. You never know, you might find that the years were never lost and that you can make up for them in one shot,” added Pandey. Atmaram and Asha Bhende - <keyword id="194127" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="SBI-Life-Insurance">SBI Life Insurance</keyword> Atmaram Bhende was a well-known face in Marathi movies and theatre. However, people in the rest of the country discovered this veteran actor in Lage Raho Munna Bhai as one of the many adorable people staying at the old age home that the entire movie revolved around. Atmaram Ji along with his wife, Asha Bhende, had been a part of SBI Life Insurance’s campaign, ‘Heere Ko Kya Pata’ close to 10 years back. This simple, slice of life conversation between an elderly couple was brought to life by these two effortless actors. What also makes this campaign doubly special is the fact that it is based on a conversation Pandey had with his mother. “The story of this ad is inspired by a conversation I had with my mother. She wanted to own a diamond but never asked us for it. She had a lot of self-respect. One day our sisters told us about her secret wish to us but we weren’t very affluent at that point of time. So we went and bought a pair of earrings for her. Prasoon paid for one and I paid for the other. When we gave it to her, she had said, ‘Iss umr me kahan pehenungi main heera? (Where will I wear a diamond at this age?). That stayed with me and when I created the ad, I added the line, ‘Heere ko kya pata tumhari umr, (The diamond doesn’t really know your age), at the time of writing the film. When we were casting, my brother said that nobody can perform this better than Atmaram Ji and Asha Ji,” he reminisced. Before ending the conversation, Pandey also made an appeal to the advertising industry, asking them to give new talent a chance. “Our younger audience and professionals in the industry should never forget that there are some fantastic actors around who have the capability to make your script ten times as good from where you wrote it. And as I pay my tribute to all these four fantastic artists for giving our industry a touch of their magic, I would ask the younger generation to identify such actors, use them well and give them the opportunity. So look for more of such people and make our industry look better by using these stalwarts,” he concluded.

It all started four years back when<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=dlf&amp;sortorder=effectivedate"> DLF</a>, the country’s largest real estate developer realised after a survey that a gap existed in the Delhi- NCR market when it came to<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=malls&amp;sortorder=effectivedate"> malls</a> with an international standard. 
 
Having delivered successful <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=retail&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">retail</a> projects in the city such as <keyword id="6362997" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="DLF">DLF</keyword> Promenade, DLF Emporio and DLF Place Saket, the company had a fair idea of what it was getting into. 
 
But what could make or break a project of this nature was its location. 
 
“Our research showed that the wallet power of the people residing in and around<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=noida&amp;sortorder=effectivedate"> Noida</a> was exceptionally high. Once we knew this, the next step was obviously to zero in on the exact location. We settled with <keyword id="18858" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Noida">Noida</keyword> Sector 18 as it is the mouth of Noida and also because we decided to look at the location through drivetime. The location would thus attract people not only from Noida and East Delhi but also from Greater Kailash, Defence Colony and even South Delhi,” said Pushpa Bector, Executive Vice President of DLF. 
 
And, thus began the work for India’s first destination mall and the country’s largest mall, spread over a whopping 2 million sq feet and is 95 percent leased out housing over 330 brands. 
 
When asked what they mean when they call <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=mall+of+india&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Mall of India</a>, a ‘destination mall,’ Sriram Khattar, CEO DLF Rental Business, is quick to respond, “We didn’t want to create just a mall. With <keyword id="6396861" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mall-of-India">Mall of India</keyword>, we wanted to create an experience,” adding that people don’t come to mall just to shop or watch a movie- they come for a holistic experience. And, that is exactly what they intended to give people with Mall of India. 
 
To achieve that, the duo completely transformed the traditional structure of a mall by not only building a mall with six floors, but also having stores beyond the third floor. “The common notion is that retail stores after the 3rd floor won’t work. Thus, the biggest challenge was to convince people to go to the top and then work their way down.” explains Pushpa Bector. 
 
 
 
Additionally, they also made use of the concept of ‘zoning,’ a first for any mall and divided the six floors of MOI into five zones in order to make the mall experience a lot more convenient. They also roped in quality international brands, some of whom even have flagship stores at MOI. 
 
Thus, Mall of India which opened its doors last year in December but officially launched yesterday, is divided into five zones- The Lower Ground Floor is christened as the ‘Market Place’ and comprises the hyperlocal markets such as Big Baazar etc. 
 The Second floor, or the ‘High Street,’ houses all the anchors, while the Ground and First Floor which are called the ‘International Boulevard’ and they comprise the best of International fashion and beauty brands such as ZARA, <keyword id="3341452" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="HM-">H&amp;M,</keyword> Marks and Spencer etc. 
 
The Third floor, which is the ‘Family World’ houses a zone for kids and also has casual dining options that include 20 restaurants offering popular cuisines. 
 The Fourth and Fifth Floor which is named the ‘Leisure Land’ offer the largest indoor entertainment zone of the country, as a result of DLF understanding the huge need for quality entertainment in the area. From <keyword id="3341450" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Smaash">Smaash</keyword>, <keyword id="3341451" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ski-India">Ski India</keyword> (modelled after Ski Dubai), to the in-house DT Cinemas and the massive food court, the Mall of India is going to be one fun affair. 
 
And, all the effort seems to have paid off. “Malls this large usually take around 12-18 months to stabilise. We have done the same in under 4-5 months,” claims Khattar. 
 
He further adds that the one-year goal is to get over one million footfall per day. At the moment, the mall sees a footfall of approximately 30,000 per day. 
 
According to Khattar, the Mall of India has also provided employment opportunities to over 6,000 people- whether directly and indirectly and all of the people employed by DLF for Mall of India are focused on making the mall a quality experience where one can spend the whole day. 
 When asked about whether having three <keyword id="45856" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Malls">malls</keyword> in the vicinity bothered them, Pushpa Bector adds that it’s not the first time they have had competition. “DLF Promenande is right next to Citywalk Saket but that has not impacted our business at all. We’re very confident of Mall of India,” she signs off. 
 
The mall is expected to generate about Rs 250 crore of just rental income for the realty firm annually.

"Based on investigation conducted by SEBI, L Kishore Babu, <keyword id="9503208" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="praveen-lingamneni">Praveen Lingamneni</keyword>, Nagesh Lingamaneni, Sri Lakshmi Lingamaneni, D Srinivasa Rao, Radhika Dronavalli, Gopichand Lingamaneni and Pushpa Latha Devi were identified as "insiders" who had, directly or indirectly, traded in the scrip during the Investigation Period," SEBI said in its order issued on July 1. The market regulator alleged that Divi's, a city-based pharma company had made an announcement on July 10, 2017, during market hours that USFDA would lift import alert 99-32 on the company's unit-II at Visakhapatnam, which was price- sensitive information. Kishore Babu who is in a key managerial position allegedly had access to the information even before the announcement was made public, the market regulator said. <keyword id="185315" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="G-Mahalingam">G Mahalingam</keyword>, wholetime director of SEBI, who issued the orders said the persons or entities mentioned may file their replies to the regulator within 30 days from the date of receipt of this order.
