Haridwar SP (Rural) Swapan Kishore said that Rishabh Pant has been admitted to the <keyword id="6408370" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="max-hospital" source="Orion">Max Hospital</keyword> in Dehradun. "Cricketer Rishabh Pant's car met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has been shifted to Max Hospital Dehradun after giving primary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. The accident took place on NH-58 of Manglaur PS area," Haridwar SP (Rural). Pant, who was alone in the car, has suffered injuries on his back, forehead and leg. Pant was driving his car when he met with the accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. According to photographs from the site, the car was seen in a badly burnt condition. The 45-year-old will be the youngest chief minister of the state and replaces <keyword id="1498654" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tirath-Singh-Rawat">Tirath Singh Rawat</keyword>, who resigned on Friday night within four months of taking charge from <keyword id="2253089" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Trivendra-Singh-Rawat">Trivendra Singh Rawat</keyword>. Dhami will be sworn in on Sunday, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar told reporters after a legislature party meeting at the state BJP headquarters where he was a central observer. "My party has appointed a common worker, son of an ex-serviceman, who was born in the border district of Pithoragarh to serve the people. "We'll work on people's issues with the cooperation of all. I will carry forward the work done by my predecessors," Dhami, a two-time MLA from Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar district, said. As Dhami takes over less than a year ahead of the next assembly elections, his biggest challenge lies in leading the BJP to another victory and retaining power in Uttarakhand, where the party has been plagued by factionalism. Changing chief ministers twice in a short span has not helped the party's image, with the opposition Congress accusing it of causing "political instability" and betraying the people. 'Brahmastra', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', 'Darlings' lead in IIFA nominations

Mumbai, Sep 13 (PTI) Production houses T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have come together to produce more than 10 films across various genres. The collaboration, that brings the production houses together with an investment of approximately Rs 1000cr, will produce big budget tentpole projects as well as mid-small budget "content rich films", a release said. According to a statement from the studios, the slate includes Hindi remakes of Tamil blockbusters, a biopic, an espionage thriller, a court room drama as well as a satire comedy, a romance drama and a film based on "true events." The upcoming movies will be produced over the course of next 24 to 36 months, with filmmakers -- Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadawale, Srijit Mukherji and Sankalp Reddy -- on board to direct. Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have worked together on the music marketing front for more than 100 films. Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, T-Series, said the collaboration between the two studios has happened at the perfect time. "After working on music marketing together, this collaboration has happened on the right time and this will just strengthen our ties. Shibasish and I hope to give our Hindi film audiences new and unconventional films," he said. Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, said he is looking forward to a fruitful partnership with T-Series. "This partnership with Bhushan will surely mark the beginning of a great feat in Indian film industry as we move on to offer a bouquet of path-breaking and momentous films to our audience," Sarkar said.
