<ul><li><keyword id="6367884" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="tpg" source="Orion">TPG</keyword> also announced that it will infuse an additional equity of up to ₹1,000 crore in the housing finance company in the near term.</li><li><keyword id="13929080" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="poonawalla-housing-finance" source="Orion">Poonawalla Housing Finance</keyword> (PHFL) currently has over 153 branches spread across 20 states.</li></ul>US-based private equity major TPG has agreed to acquire the housing finance arm of Adar Poonawalla-led <keyword id="12015054" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="poonawalla-fincorp" source="Orion">Poonawalla Fincorp</keyword> at ₹3,900 crore valuation. TPG also said it will infuse an additional equity of up to ₹1,000 crore in Poonawalla Housing Finance in the near term. In its press release, TPG said the existing management team led by Manish Jaiswal will continue to carry out the operations. Poonawalla Housing Finance (PHFL) currently has over 153 branches spread across 20 states. At the end of September quarter, the company had assets under management (AUM) worth ₹5,612 crore. It reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹33 crore in the September quarter, with a 33% year-on-year growth. “As India’s leading affordable housing finance provider, PHFL is uniquely positioned to grow in the fast-expanding affordable housing sector, which we believe is one of the most resilient asset classes across interest rate cycles,” said <keyword id="253862" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="puneet-bhatia" source="Orion">Puneet Bhatia</keyword>, co-managing partner of TPG Capital Asia. Poonawalla Housing Finance joins TPG’s portfolio of financial services companies in Asia, which includes Kakao Bank, Singlife, Five Star Business Finance, and Du Xiaoman Financial. “We have full confidence that it (PHFL) will continue to make a strong contribution to the affordable housing sector with our new partnership with TPG. As a global leading investment firm, TPG’s experience in building and supporting leading financial services companies will add greater value to PHFL,” said <keyword id="383467" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="adar-poonawalla" source="Orion">Adar Poonawalla</keyword>, chairman of Poonawalla Group. TPG to acquire Adar Poonawalla-led group’s housing finance arm at ₹3,900 crore valuation

<ul><li><keyword id="1600133" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="fractal" source="Orion">Fractal</keyword> offers artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics solutions to several Fortune 500 firms in the world.</li><li>TPG’s Puneet Bhatia and Vivek Mohan will join <keyword id="1717806" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="fractal-analytics" source="Orion">Fractal Analytics</keyword>’ board of directors.</li><li>The company has raised $685 million in fundraise to date.</li></ul>Mumbai and San Francisco-based Fractal has raised $360 million in funding from private equity investors TPG. The investment would be made through TPG’s Asia-focused private equity platform TPG Capital Asia. The 21-year-old company has been valued at over $1 billion after this round, the company’s cofounder and group chief executive (CEO) Srikanth Velamakanni, said. The company has raised $685 million in fundraise to date. The transaction is expected to close by the first quarter of 2022, and includes both primary as well as secondary share purchases. TPG’s Puneet Bhatia and Vivek Mohan will join Fractal Analytics's board of directors. The company’s board currently includes Salesforce’s Gavin Patterson, Apax Partners Rohan Haldea, Apax Partners Shashank Singh and Kae Capital Gulu Mirchandani. It was founded by Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad graduates Velamakanni, Pranay Agrawal, Nirmal Palaparthi, Pradeep Suryanarayan and Ramakrishna Reddy. Fractal offers artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics solutions — such as marketing analytics, forecasting, pricing and promotion optimisation services and consumer insights — to several Fortune 500 firms in the world, which typically have a revenue of $10 billion. The company claims to earn $100 million in annual revenue. The company’s offering includes smart radiology solution <keyword id="6327028" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="qure-ai" source="Orion">Qure.ai</keyword>, investment aid Theremin.ai and data analytics platform Eugenie.ai, revenue growth management company <keyword id="12887249" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="samya-ai" source="Orion">Samya.ai</keyword> and customer management company Senseforth.ai. You do you.” People who identify as women or gender fluid have spent years trying to unlearn the daunting thought of “Log kya kahenge” (what will people say). We have been conditioned to hate what’s natural and have grown up surviving through a love-hate relationship with our bodies. Fastrack’s endeavor, with its latest campaign and brand ethos, is to encourage the young demographic to accept themselves as they are and love their different, unique kinds of bodies. Sharing the idea behind ‘You Do You,’ Ajay Maurya, Marketing Head, Fastrack said, “With this campaign, our goal is to capture the youth’s pulse and represent their ever-evolving choices. However, the actor seems to be as unperturbed as he could be. Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan held a Twitter QnA session, called <keyword id="3179037" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="asksrk">AskSRK</keyword>, that trended for a good few hours, given the number of followers he has on social media platform. It was during this session of AskSRK that some followers decided to test Khan’s patience.
