Ahead of the IPO, it raised ₹143 crore from anchor investors like BI General Insurance Company, SBI Life Insurance Company, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, LIC Mutual Fund and Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. “There has been a manifold increase in digital payments in the recent past. To further boost digital transactions, the finance minister in Union Budget 2023-2024 earmarked ₹115.4 billion to bolster the digital India initiative of which ₹1.5 billion are proposed to provide financial incentive to promote digital mode of payments,” the company said in its RHP. The company is a market leader in universal, citizen centric and population scale e-governance solutions. It has 45% market share in PAN allocation. Since inception in 2023, it has managed 19 projects spread across seven ministries and autonomous bodies. It’s been the chief architect and implementer for critical and large-scale technology infrastructure projects in the country. It collaborates with the government and has extensive experience in creating digital public infrastructure and developing innovative citizen-centric e-governance solutions. “At the upper price band, the company is valued at a P/E ratio of 29.9 of its FY23 earnings with a market cap of ₹32,034 million post issue of equity shares. We believe that the issue is fairly priced and recommend ‘Subscribe –Long Term’ rating to the IPO,” said a report by Anand Rathi. The government is also setting up various initiatives such as setting up of 75 digital banking units in 75 districts across the country by scheduled banks and 100% inclusion of post-offices under the core banking systems thus providing features such as net banking, mobile banking, ATMs, and also provide online transfer of funds between post office accounts and bank accounts have been taken.

The maiden public issue that will open for <keyword id="72984" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="subscription" source="Orion">subscription</keyword> on November 6, will conclude on November 8 and the anchor book of the offer will be opened for a day on November 3, the company said in a statement. The public issue is purely an offer-for-sale (OFS) by existing shareholders. The OFS size has been reduced to 61.91 lakh <keyword id="6455672" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="equity-shares" source="Orion">equity shares</keyword> from 1.28 crore equity shares planned earlier. Also, the offer includes a reservation of 1.5 lakh equity shares for the company's employees at a discount of Rs 75 per share to the final offer price. Those offering shares in the OFS are -- IIFL Special Opportunities Funds, NSE Investments, Administrator of the Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Deutsche Bank AG, Punjab National Bank, and Union Bank of India. At the upper end of the price band, the <keyword id="6354763" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ipo" source="Orion">IPO</keyword> is expected to fetch Rs 490.33 crore. Since the IPO is completely an OFS, the entire proceeds will go to the selling shareholders and the company will not receive any funds from the issue. Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional investors, 35 per cent for retail investors, and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. Further, investors can bid for a minimum of 18 equity shares and in a multiple of 18 equity shares thereafter. The Fortnite game developer seeks to call <keyword id="1604185" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="pichai" source="Orion">Pichai</keyword> as a witness on Tuesday as it makes its case alleging that <keyword id="963171" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="google-play" source="Orion">Google Play</keyword> is an unlawful monopoly, reports The Verge. "In court documents, Google requested to use a podium in the courtroom on Tuesday, which suggests that Pichai may indeed appear to testify," the report noted. Last month, in the US vs. Google case, Pichai stood behind a podium instead of sitting because of "apparent back issues". The lawsuit was filed after Google pulled Fortnite from the Play store. Epic is arguing that Google's monopolistic control on its Google Play Store for Android smartphones violates both state and federal antitrust laws. Meanwhile, Google offered a $147 million deal to game developer Epic Games to launch its popular game Fortnite on Google Play store, the tech giant told the court. Purnima Kochikar, Vice President, Play Partnerships at Google, said in her testimony that the deal was approved and presented to Epic but not accepted, reports The Verge. The deal would have seen the money dispensed over a three-year period of "incremental funding" (ending in 2021) to Epic. In a document justifying the deal, Google wrote that "Fortnite's absence could result in $130 million (up to $250 million) direct revenue loss with Play" and that there could be a "downstream impact of $550 million (up to $3.6 billion) potential revenue loss if broad contagion to other developers". The Epic vs Google trial began this week on Monday. Google has defended its 30 per cent cut on transactions for apps via its Play store. Sundar Pichai to testify in Epic Games vs Google case next week

<ul><li>FPIs have turned buyers in November and are ₹107.81 crore in the green post Diwali.</li><li>FPIs had offloaded equities worth ₹5,806 crore before Diwali.</li><li>There was an investment of ₹5,328.1 crore a day after Diwali.</li></ul> The Diwali cheer has continued on Dalal Street with the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) having turned net buyers in November after making huge purchases after Diwali that fell on November 12, 2023. The FPIs had been net sellers in the first half of the month, having offloaded equities worth ₹1,416 crore till November 15. However, the trend has changed after FPIs invested a huge amount of ₹5,328 crore in a single day on November 13, followed by ₹1,523 crore on November 16. The month of October had recorded the highest sell-off in equities by FPIs in the financial year at ₹24,548 crore. If we look at 2023, this was the second highest sell-off after January 2023 which recorded FPIs offloading equities worth ₹28,852 crore. FPIs had also offloaded equities worth ₹14,768 crore in September 2023, ending a six-month streak of inflows in 2023. While there could be a lot of reasons for FPIs offloading, the sell-off had increased after the yield on the 10-year US Treasuries topped 5% for the first time since 2007. In addition to this, the geopolitical conflict in the middle east has also fueled the sell-off. The banking and financial services and the information technology (IT) sector recorded a substantial sell-off. Despite the sell-off in the last three months, the net investment in FY24 has been positive. FPIs have invested ₹1,16,586 crore in the country so far. Analysts expect the sell-off to ease down as the yields soften and the Fed goes on hold for a longer period. After two months of selling, FPIs bet big on India after Diwali

<keyword id="2573" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="air-india" source="Orion">Air India</keyword> plans to introduce sophisticated features to its generative artificial intelligence virtual agent that handles more than 6,000 customer queries daily. The Tata Group-owned airline is using ChatGPT to analyse even some complex questions it may not be able to immediately answer to improve customer experience in later interactions and is helping it to become more attuned to natural language. In a release on Friday, Air India said it has become the world's first airline to have successfully deployed a Generative AI virtual agent '<keyword id="6388899" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="maharaja" source="Orion">Maharaja</keyword>', powered by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service. The agent has successfully answered over half a million customer queries since its pilot launch in March 2023, and today manages over 6,000 queries a day in four languages, the release said. According to the airline, 'Maharaja' manages an extensive spectrum of customer queries across 1,300 areas, including those related to flight status, baggage allowances, packing restrictions, check-in, frequent flyer awards, airport lounge access, flight changes and refunds. The agent speaks Hindi, English, French, and German. "Of the 6,000-plus questions received each day, over 80 per cent are successfully answered in seconds. About 15 per cent of customer queries today require additional assistance, and Maharaja recognises this automatically and orchestrates a seamless handoff to Air India's contact centre agents," the release said. In the coming months, the airline plans to launch a host of sophisticated features, driven by patent-pending technologies. "This includes a novel user experience that changes the way customers interact with AI agents with a combination of textual and graphical interactions that can potentially further speed up customer interactions... Air India also plans to enhance the current AI agent with data-driven deep-personalisation capabilities," the release said. Satya Ramaswamy, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Air India, said that after the emergence of Large Language Model driven generative AI capabilities, it is increasingly seeing a definitive shift in guest preferences to use chat interactions to get the information and support they need quickly. Air India also said that generative AI solutions help automate repetitive and mundane tasks such as booking, cancellation and confirmation, and free up bandwidth for human agents to focus on more complex and value-adding interactions. The full service carrier has embarked on an ambitious expansion plan. Unlike voice assistants, it does not have a word to wake it and you will have to manually tap on a button to activate it. The AI Pin can basically be considered as the integration of AI chatbots like ChatGPT into a device, capable of placing calls, messaging and more. In addition to this, the device can currently provide real-time translation, answer questions, summarise your emails, provide nutritional information about your food and more. The company reportedly plans on adding more features such as navigation and shopping.
