After the completion of two months of its operations, <keyword id="11911527" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="akasa-air" source="Orion">Akasa Air</keyword> is set to establish Delhi as the sixth destination on its network and inaugurate its first flight on the Delhi-Bengaluru and Delhi-Ahmedabad routes on October 7. Akasa Air launches maiden flights from Delhi, to allow pets in the cabin

Mumbai, Feb 17 () Budget carrier GoAir on Monday said it has appointed Jet Airways former senior executive Praveen Iyer as its chief commercial officer. Iyer moves to the Wadia family-run airline from Visa services provider VFS Global, where he was working as chief operating officer after quitting the now-defunct carrier Jet Airways. The announcement of Iyer's appointment to the post comes close on the heels of Jet Airways former CEO Vinay Dube stepping in as GoAir's Chief Executive Officer last week after serving as advisor to the carrier for nearly five months. "I welcome Iyer to the ever-growing GoAir family. His strong domain knowledge and deep expertise in formulating commercial strategy and driving revenue, sales and network planning will play a key role in GoAir's next phase of growth and overall profitability," Dube said in a release. At Jet Airways, Iyer was responsible for planning, distribution, pricing, revenue management, ancillary and sales, according to the release. Dubai, March 16 (IANS) <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword>'s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who bagged eight wickets, including his maiden Test five-wicket haul at home in the second India versus Sri Lanka Test at Bengaluru, has jumped six spots to attain fourth ranking in the latest ICC Test Rankings for bowlers released on Wednesday. The 28-year-old speedster leapfrogged Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi, New Zealand's Kyle Jamieson and Tim Southee, <keyword id="6355981" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="england" source="Orion">England</keyword>'s James Anderson, South Africa-born Kiwi cricketer Neil Wagner and Australia's Josh Hazlewood in the table. While on one hand <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> star <keyword id="2823" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Akshay-Kumar">Akshay Kumar</keyword> was not even nominated for the role in the movie <keyword id="433624" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rustom">Rustom</keyword> in Filmfare Awards this year, he has managed to grab the most prestigious film award for the same.
