Traders' body <keyword id="76562" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="confederation-of-all-india-traders" source="Orion">Confederation of All India Traders</keyword> (<keyword id="853920" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="cait" source="Orion">CAIT</keyword>) has drawn Union Health Minister <keyword id="2607815" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="mansukh-mandaviya" source="Orion">Mansukh Mandaviya</keyword>'s attention towards a draft notification issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword> (FSSAI) for the printing of Indian Nutrition Rating (INR) on food packets as part of a labelling exercise with healthy food items getting a higher rating. In a letter, CAIT said that the proposed rules have not taken into account the ground reality of the food trade and various parameters of spending of the consumers. "This move undoubtedly looks to be logical and has been brought with a good intention to ensure quality and nutrified food to the people of India. However, the proposed rules have not taken into account the ground reality of the food trade and various parameters of spending of the consumers," the letter read. CAIT has claimed that the said rules are an attempt to run the food trade with one stick though India is a land of great diversity. "The food trade in India is carried by major companies on the one side but largely crores of small Halwai, food operators, Sweet &amp; Namkeen makers and others conduct their food business activities catering to the requirement of about 80% population of the country," it added. It said that food choices differ from state to state. For example, in Delhi, the people like chat pakori, kachori etc but on the contrary, the people of Gujarat prefer farsan, people of MP have a great choice towards local produced namkeen, people of Maharashtra love eating Pav Bhaji and people of South India have altogether different choices. Notably, these items are largely available in packing. These items are famous because of their very different and special kind of recipes and these all have different nutritional values. These and many other large items are made depending upon the taste of the people. "Any legislation or regulation which may be drafted to regulate them with one yardstick will end with the closure of these large number of small sweet and namkeen manufacturers traditionally known as Halwai and Bakers which will further result into unemployment of a large number of workers who work with these small Halwai and sweet namkeen manufacturers," it added. "We request your good self to kindly consider the above submissions made by us. Radical candor Gen Z also feels more fiercely about the earth than millennials and Gen X—after all, they have been veritably raised under the intimidating specter of climate change. Consequently, they find an aspirational value in companies that extend genuine commitment towards causes such as hunger, sustainability, deforestation, pollution, gender equality, diversity, etc. Gen Z prefers being part of organizations that speak unreservedly about causes they are invested in. <a href="https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/consumer-packaged-goods/our-insights/true-gen-generation-z-and-its-implications-for-companies">Studies</a> reveal that, unlike millennials, they do not spurn diverse points of view either, even if those are at odds with their own. Mobility all the way With their aversion for stereotypes and their passion for individual identity, Gen Z is ardent about the hybrid model of working. They are disinclined towards assigned spaces, and more amenable to the idea of working from anywhere. They prefer cafeterias, lounges, sofa settings, pods, and biophilic design. In fact, they do not regard the cafeteria as a dedicated area for meals, but as a place to brainstorm and collaborate. It would help to redefine such spaces in the office with clever adjustments that allow for an easy ‘flip and tuck’. Tokyo Paralympics: India's Praveen Kumar bags silver medal in high jump T64

The Confederation of All India Traders (<keyword id="853920" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="CAIT">CAIT</keyword>) has written to Minister for <keyword id="84" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Commerce">Commerce</keyword> and Industry Piyush Goyal seeking action against e-commerce majors <keyword id="18635" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> and <keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword> over alleged supply of non-essential goods amid the <keyword id="8763838" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="covid-19">Covid-19</keyword> restrictions. "They have now started taking undue advantage of the pandemic by making illegitimate financial gains by supplying non-essential items which have been strictly prohibited by many state administrations due to ongoing lockdowns to prevent the spread of Covid-19," said the letter written by CAIT Secretary General <keyword id="361703" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Praveen-Khandelwal">Praveen Khandelwal</keyword>. The traders' body alleged that amidst the pandemic, the e-commerce players are trying to capture the market share from small traders by defining every item as essential including mobile phones and accessories. CAIT also said that the government should bring in "a new press note with clarifications with regards to what is permitted and prohibited for marketplace e-commerce entities, to expedite the process and save the industry for the ulterior motives of these foreign entities". It also blamed the government of turning a blind eye to the "violations" of the e-commerce giants as they are "larger than life corporations". Mumbai, Feb 17 () Budget carrier GoAir on Monday said it has appointed Jet Airways former senior executive Praveen Iyer as its chief commercial officer. Iyer moves to the Wadia family-run airline from Visa services provider VFS Global, where he was working as chief operating officer after quitting the now-defunct carrier Jet Airways. The announcement of Iyer's appointment to the post comes close on the heels of Jet Airways former CEO Vinay Dube stepping in as GoAir's Chief Executive Officer last week after serving as advisor to the carrier for nearly five months. "I welcome Iyer to the ever-growing GoAir family. His strong domain knowledge and deep expertise in formulating commercial strategy and driving revenue, sales and network planning will play a key role in GoAir's next phase of growth and overall profitability," Dube said in a release. At Jet Airways, Iyer was responsible for planning, distribution, pricing, revenue management, ancillary and sales, according to the release. Besides, he has also led teams in developing new market segmentation, implementing new customer acquisition strategies and forming global alliances and partnerships, it said. IAS HRS

The ruling <keyword id="58687" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bharatiya-Janata-Party">Bharatiya Janata Party</keyword> (BJP) won 3 of the 4 seats in the October 28 biennial elections to the <keyword id="74394" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Karnataka-legislative-council">Karnataka Legislative Council</keyword>, including 2 from Teachers and 1 from Graduates constituency, an official said on Tuesday. "BJP's Puttanna won the <keyword id="6355033" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="bangalore">Bangalore</keyword> Teachers seat with 7,335 votes, defeating A.P. Ranganatha of the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) with 5,107 votes and R. <keyword id="6366707" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="praveen-kumar">Praveen Kumar</keyword> of Congress with 782 votes," an Election Commission official told IANS here. Puttanna, who defected from the JD-S, has retained the seat. In Karnataka North-East Teachers constituency, BJP's Shashil Namoshi won with 9,418 votes, wresting the seat from Sharanappa Mattur of Congress who polled 6,213 votes, while Timmayya Purle of JD-S secured 3,812 votes. Namoshi had won from the seat twice earlier, while Mattur re-contested after his term ended in June but lost. In Karnataka West Graduates segment, BJP's S.V. Sankur won with 13,293 votes, defeating <keyword id="10255012" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="r-m-kuberappa">R.M. Kuberappa</keyword> of Congress with 6,111 votes and Basavaraj Terdal, an Independent, with 3,540 votes. Sankur re-contested to retain the seat after his term ended in June. Vote count is still underway in the Karnataka South-East Graduates seat, in which Chidanand Gowda of the BJP, <keyword id="207378" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ramesh-Babu">Ramesh Babu</keyword> of the Congress and R. Chowda Reddy of the JD-S are in the fray. Reddy has re-contested after his term ended in June. Votes of Bangalore Teachers and North East Teachers seats were counted in Bengaluru, while that of West Graduates at Dharwad in the state's northwest region and South-East Graduates at Gulbarga in the state's northern region. Voting in the biennial elections to the four seats was held to fill vacancies caused after the term of the incumbent lawmaker ended in June. The by-elections, however, could not be held in July due to the Covid-19 pandemic gripping the state since mid-March. In West Graduates, 70.11 per cent voting was recorded, followed by 75 per cent in South-East Graduates, 73.32 per cent in North-East Teachers and 66 per cent in Bangalore Teachers constituency. In all, 40 candidates from BJP, Congress, Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) and Independents were in the fray in all the four seats. BJP wins three out of four Karnataka Council seats in biennial polls

<keyword id="139797" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="The-Securities-and-Exchange-Board-of-India">The Securities and Exchange Board of India</keyword> (<keyword id="35210" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="sebi">SEBI</keyword>) has imposed over Rs 96 lakh penalty on Divi's Laboratories' Chief Financial officer (CFO) L <keyword id="1269821" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kishore-Babu">Kishore Babu</keyword> and his close associates including his son for allegedly indulging in <keyword id="6360088" type="DEFINITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Insider-Trading">insider trading</keyword> in 2017. "Based on investigation conducted by SEBI, L Kishore Babu, <keyword id="9503208" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="praveen-lingamneni">Praveen Lingamneni</keyword>, Nagesh Lingamaneni, Sri Lakshmi Lingamaneni, D Srinivasa Rao, Radhika Dronavalli, Gopichand Lingamaneni and Pushpa Latha Devi were identified as "insiders" who had, directly or indirectly, traded in the scrip during the Investigation Period," SEBI said in its order issued on July 1. The market regulator alleged that Divi's, a city-based pharma company had made an announcement on July 10, 2017, during market hours that USFDA would lift import alert 99-32 on the company's unit-II at Visakhapatnam, which was price- sensitive information. Kishore Babu who is in a key managerial position allegedly had access to the information even before the announcement was made public, the market regulator said. <keyword id="185315" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="G-Mahalingam">G Mahalingam</keyword>, wholetime director of SEBI, who issued the orders said the persons or entities mentioned may file their replies to the regulator within 30 days from the date of receipt of this order. SEBI alleges insider trading by Divi's Labs' CFO, imposes ₹96 lakh fine

With the talks of acquisition of <keyword id="541988" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="SnapDeal">Snapdeal</keyword> by <keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword> still in process, Jasper Infotech who owns the former has registered an FIR with the <keyword id="3470860" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="economic-offences-wing-of-delhi-police">Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police</keyword> against former senior executives of Quickdel Logistics, the parent company of e-commerce logistics entity GoJavas. Reported yesterday, the FIR names former executive director of Quickdel Logistics Abhijeet Singh, along with promoters Praveen Sinha, <keyword id="91890" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Randhir-Singh">Randhir Singh</keyword> and Ashish Chaudhary as the main accused, registering a criminal complaint against them for cheating, forgery, conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and criminal misappropriation of funds. All four executives do not work at GoJavas anymore, according to an Economic Times news report. ET has got access of the copy of FIR. According to online marketplace Snapdeal, the company does not hold any shares in GoJavas and had filed a complaint in 2016 with the Delhi Police, which was duly investigated and the FIR registered on Friday. The FIR has been filed by <keyword id="4690412" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="krishna-mohan-chaudhary">Krishna Mohan Chaudhary</keyword>, director of legal at Snapdeal. Earlier Snapdeal owned 49.9% of shares in GoJavas till those were sold to Pigeon Express, when the latter took over. According to the ET news report, Snapdeal simply doesn’t want any bad investments in its book. "Jasper Infotech has no shareholding in Quickdel," said an emailed statement issued by a spokesperson in response to detailed queries by ET. "The complainant was induced into buying shares of Quickdel from Quickdel and Randhir Singh and Praveen Sinha. The complainant acquired 49.99% shareholding in Quickdel by paying an amount of Rs 119.99 crore to Randhir Singh and Praveen Sinha and Rs 237.27 crore to Quickdel," states the FIR. When contacted by ET, Sinha said that he was "unaware of the existence of the FIR." Sinha originally owned a significant minority share in the company along with co-promoters at a little less than 20% which was sold over a period of time to Jasper Infotech. All in all, Snapdeal invested Rs 357.26 crore in the Quickdel in 2015.

1. The Wallflower: Some personalities at work have an ability to make themselves anonymous, as it frees them from the restraints incurred through normal social surveillance. Being unknown allows people to avoid interruptions, as well as express themselves in new ways and experiment with new behaviours. The key is that it’s strategic—individuals choosing when and why to make themselves anonymous. 
 
Examples: 
Going to work at a café or a place where you’re unknown 
Engaging in online discussions using an avatar or handle 
 
Design considerations: 
Incorporate informal, non-constricting environments with a home-like feel that will help break the corporate barrier. 
 
2. The Whisperer: Privacy isn’t just about being alone. We also seek privacy with selected others. When we choose to share personal information or our emotions with someone else, there is a measure of trust involved— an assumption that the other person understands that the shared information isn’t for general public consumption. But, in today’s mostly open-plan workplaces, it’s difficult to find places where such conversations can occur without being scheduled. 
 
Examples: 
Discussing a personal situation with a colleague or attending an important call 
Being in a performance review with your manager 
 
Design considerations: 
Create a mix of “I” spaces and “We” spaces so that people freely circulate in a shifting kaleidoscope of interactions. 
 
3. The Perceiver: Companies are now shifting to a mobile technology era, wherein organizations are providing laptops to employees instead of desktop computers. Here, the employees’ seating arrangements fluctuate according to their own wish and requirements as they do not have any fixed desking system. These personalities acknowledge a flexible style of working and are open-minded, adaptable, and spontaneous with such office environments. 
 
Examples: 
Getting used to a new desk at workplace easily 
Interaction with different set of colleague’s everyday 
 
Design considerations: 
• Create areas where people can connect with others without any distractions or interference 
• Provide ample and well-equipped spaces for mobile and resident workers to work individually or in teams so that they can interact with each other 
 
 
4) The back bencher: Isolation is a state of mind—it’s possible to feel isolated from a group while that group surrounds you. But solitude is physical: intentionally separating from a group to concentrate, recharge, express emotions or engage in personal activities. People in individualistic cultures, such as the United States, may take times of solitude almost for granted, but even within a collectivist culture, such as China, being alone sometimes is a fundamental need. 
 
Examples: 
Finding an enclave 
Sitting in the farthest empty corner of a large room 
 
Design consideration: 
Create spaces that allow personalization and individual customization, instead of tightly enforced workplace standards. Offer settings and affordances that help employees feel supported in their work. 
 
5. The invisibility cloak: Our innermost thoughts and feelings are our most personal information and our own quirky behaviours can only be revealed if we choose to do so. Some choose to reveal specific information to select group of people, while revealing different information to others. These personalities are in their own nutshell and prefer to uncover themselves only with certain people as and when required. 
 
Examples: 
Opting for a telephonic conversation instead of a video conference 
Choosing which personal items to display at a workstation 
 
Design considerations: 
Create spaces that help people connect with others one-on-one and eye-to-eye, and not just through their technology devices. Also, design areas that allow workers to control their sensory stimulation and choose if they want to amp it up or down.
