More than 6,900 poachers were arrested for killing and trafficking of 2,869 wildlife animals during the past 10 years, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia told the Odisha Assembly on Tuesday. Similarly, forest field staff are being trained to improve intelligence gathering in order to prevent poaching of wild animals as well as effective handling of detection and processing of wildlife cases to ensure higher rates of conviction. Ram Singkhuntia said 24x7 control room has been set up in forest divisions, circles and headquarters level to receive information from the public on wildlife matter 'Vana Samrakshana Samiti' and eco-development committee members, and school students are being motivated to join hands with the Forest department to save wild lives and reduce human-elephant conflict, he added. During the second search, dry meat, three snares, skull of a barking deer with antler, an axe, bill hook, poison and two bags were seized from Badra's house. Bihar police station in-charge Sudhir Kumar told reporters that a raid was conducted by the sleuths of STF and the forest department at a dilapidated structure in the Patan village from where two persons were arrested and 20 'langurs', locked in steel cages, were rescued. The accused Saddam Beg and Nadeem Khan are residents of Fatehpur district. However, the investigators are yet to ascertain why the langurs were being smuggled. "As of now, the smugglers revealed that they used to sell the 'langurs' to earn their livelihood," said an STF official. On Monday, the Chet Goldstein channel posted an hour-long "sting" video where Rosen and fellow predator hunter Ghost, who runs the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_z833aw6yvHJ9QxGpphY3w">channel CC Unit,</a> approached Moreland in Bakersfield, California. Rosen's video at least made it seem like Moreland thought he was going to meet up with a 13-year-old girl. That video went viral, pulling in over two million views.Moreland, who had built up an audience making videos and ranting about the Philadelphia Eagles, has disappeared from social media since the videos went viral.The Bakersfield Sheriff's Department told a local <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1zN_GW15ns">ABC affiliate news station</a> on April 22 that the "video's content is under investigation but as of now no arrests have been made." The department did not return a request for comment by publication time. Rosen posted an Instagram video about the channel ban, pointing his followers to his side-channel Stanley Yelnatz. Rosen told Insider that he received an email from YouTube, but did not receive a strike, YouTube's term for a warning. Rosen says his stings and content moving forward will be posted to the <a href="https://predatorpoachersofficial.com/">Predator Poachers website</a>. "We can't post anything on YouTube anymore pretty much, that platform just doesn't like us," Rosen says in the Instagram video. YouTube did not respond to Insider's request for comment. <h2>It's not entirely clear what the basis of the bans was</h2>It's still not clear why each creator was banned.Moreland, the purported subject of the sting, has been accused of messaging multiple minors in the past, and YouTube has taken action against creators who have faced major scandals in the past few months.Rosen has a history of posting unsavory content along with his stings.He created the Predator Poachers YouTube channel in 2019 after watching similar YouTubers and experimenting with setting up his own stings. In 2020, it was taken down due to multiple community guideline strikes, though what those strikes were for remains unclear. On that channel, he would often target gay men who were seeking contact with male minors. <a href="https://youtu.be/gQKYc05H0sQ">In one video</a> from the deleted channel, a minor in a sting starts to unbuckle and take off his pants around a suspect before Rosen walks in. The decoy is the cousin of Rosen, who was 16 at the time of recording. "I agree it was very irresponsible," Rosen told Insider. "We were 19 and just starting out and we didn't think anything of having a cousin of ours who's a couple of years younger there." <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3ASBx26ry4">In another video</a>, a purported minor who was used as bait for a sting said the male target was "touching and kissing me and trying to hold my hand." Rosen said in later clips that he uses minors as <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-LG4rN8kLQ">bait for his videos.</a>Aside from using minors in the videos, Rosen created several ethically dubious situations. In one video, where he confronts a Nebraska man who Rosen said sent sexual messages to an 8-year-old decoy, Rosen says that he won't call the police if the man puts on an "I Lick A--" T-shirt."We absolutely toy with them, we make sure we get their confession on camera, that is the most important part," Rosen told Insider before the ban. Additionally, Rosen posted multiple videos and livestreams where he uses the N-word. In an interview done before the ban of his channel, Rosen said that "it obviously looks bad" and that he has "no hatred in my heart towards any group of people." In one video, Rosen prank called a BLM hotline, used multiple homophobic and racist slurs, and joked about pedophelia.

 With <keyword id="21647" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="naxal">Naxal</keyword>/Maoist insurgency showing no signs of letting up, the government is under huge pressure to deal with Naxal violence, which is threatening to disrupt normal life in quite a few states. As the insurgents mostly operate under the green cover (dense forests) or from other remote areas, drones can send in crucial data related to people movement and alert government agencies. This, in turn, can save lives and resources deployed to remote areas to fight insurgency. 
 The data collected by drones can go straight to the experts, without any human interference. It is no wonder, therefore, that the Panna National Park in <keyword id="6355554" type="COMPANY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Madhya-Pradesh">Madhya Pradesh</keyword> had deployed these drones to capture tiger movement and also for tracking poachers too. 
 The big use for drones in India is area specific. While in urban areas it can be used to make deliveries, as announced by <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword>, drones can play a vital role in bringing down the traffic jams which have been close to the cardiac arrests that the cities get more often than not. Drones can also be used to enhance vigilance in urban sectors. These give 360 degree view to the law enforcements that can help them fight crime better. 
 Another valid use for drones will be in rural areas, the food bowl of the country. Drones or UAVs can be greatly helpful in estimating the natural resources or the abuse of the same. For an agrarian economy like India, drones can go a long way in aiding agricultural activities such as sowing seeds on vast tracts of land. They can also help in spraying pesticides that will keep the crop safe from natural predators. Crop <keyword id="35450" type="COMPANY" weightage="40" keywordseo="insurance">insurance</keyword> and crop mapping are major areas where drones can be integrated into the farming system for the benefit of farmers. 
 
Disaster management is another key area as the aerial images taken by drones can pinpoint rain intensity, provide flood warning data and help generate alerts for impending natural disasters. These can also help in relief distribution to areas cut off by floods or snow. 
 Although India is keen to <keyword id="382268" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="leverage">leverage</keyword> the cloud sowing technology, cost factors are hindering our progress. But drones can be deployed now for cloud sowing and also for crop monitoring, thus contributing to the overall food security system of the country. 
 
Moreover, city planning can be done better by using the aerial images taken by drones as they can take accurate aerial shots of any region, along with the precise data. That will definitely help in utility installations and planned expansion of cities where water supply lines and electricity poles are being laid haphazardly and unevenly. 
 
This way, both rural and urban India will equally benefit from a technology, without robbing each other of the advantages. After all, steps to check immigration can only start with equal distribution of resources.
