The British pound is stronger by 0.7% at 1.5702.Bank Indonesia kept policy on hold. The central bank <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-18/indonesia-holds-key-rate-as-rupiah-risks-prevent-monetary-easing">held its benchmark interest rate at 7.50%</a>, as expected. The decision comes as Indonesian authorities grapple with the impact of further devaluation of China's yuan and a possible rate hike by the US Federal Reserve sometime this year. BB&amp;T buys National Penn. Revenue rose 6.9% to $867.5 million, missing the $881.6 million that analysts were forecasting. The company reported a loss of $0.11 per share in the second quarter as sales slumped 17%.Petco is going private, again. The offering is expected to raise approximately $100 million and give the company a $4 billion valuation. From AFP: "Shares in Guotai Junan International dived Monday after the major Chinese brokerage said it could not find its Hong Kong chief, at a time when Beijing is targeting the financial sector in an anti-graft campaign. Shares in the Hong Kong-listed firm, a subsidiary of Guotai Junan Securities, dropped more than 15 percent at one point after the company said it had not been able to locate its chairman Yim Fung since Wednesday.
