Enviro Infra Engineers, which is involved in the development of turnkey projects of <keyword id="19979438" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sewage-treatment-plants" source="keywords">sewage treatment plants</keyword> and sewerage systems, on Monday fixed a price band of ₹140-148 per share for its ₹650 crore <keyword id="19913114" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Initial-Public-Offering" source="keywords">Initial Public Offering</keyword> (IPO). The initial share sale will open for public subscription on November 22 and conclude on November 26. The bidding for anchor investors will open for a day on November 21, the company announced. The city-based company's proposed IPO is a combination of a fresh issue of 3.87 crore equity shares and an Offer For Sale (OFS) component of 52.68 lakh shares by promoters. Currently, promoters hold over 93 per cent stake in Enviro Infra Engineers. At the higher end of the price band, the IPO is valued at ₹650 crore, placing the company's market capitalization at approximately ₹2,600 crore. Proceeds from the fresh issue to the tune of ₹181 crore will be used to meet the working capital requirements, ₹100 crore will be used for payment of debt, ₹30 crore will be infused into the company's subsidiary, EIEL Mathura Infra Engineers, to build 60 million litres per day Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Besides, a portion will be used for general corporate purposes. Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35 per cent for retail investors and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. Enviro Infra Engineers is engaged in designing, construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and water supply scheme projects for government authorities/bodies. The treatment process installed by the company at most of the STPs is zero liquid discharge-compliant and the treated water can be used for horticulture, washing, refrigeration, and other process industries. Hem Securities is the sole book-running lead manager of the public issue. The equity shares of the company are expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on November 29. Enviro Infra Engineers IPO to open on Nov 22; eyes ₹650 crore

Business Insider has verified Nasiri's salary.I grew up in the <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/moved-san-francisco-worth-it-cost-of-living-negativity-2024-2">Bay Area</a> near Silicon Valley, and everyone I knew was in some variation of tech. I continued on that trajectory.My first job was working for the corporate ventures team at Qualcomm. After that, I worked in semiconductors for a few years. Then, I went back to business school and got a job in product marketing for a regulatory technology startup.I liked aspects of what I was doing. The <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/big-tech-workers-pushed-limits-of-perks-benefits-pampering-over-2024-10">perks</a> were nice. I had full benefits. And there <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/left-big-tech-job-uber-entrepreneur-2024-10">was the salary</a>. I was making around $200,000 at the time I left, plus a bonus. I also got a lot of stock options.I was working for <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/startups-to-bet-your-career-on-in-2024-2024-2">startup companies</a>, so I had the chance to be at the ground level, build teams, and craft messaging. I felt like I had an impact.But I wasn't creatively fulfilled. I didn't like what I was doing. It didn't resonate with who I am. I was kind of embarrassed to tell people I did product marketing for regulatory technology startups. I felt like I was speaking a different language.At the time, I compartmentalized. This is who I am at work, and this is who I am in my personal life. I just accepted my life for what it was and figured you could <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/happiness-at-work-employee-engagement-fulfillment-flexibility-four-days-2023-12">never be fully happy at work.</a><h2 id="ddbf58b0-8e32-403f-9d1f-46fdacdaa027">That started to change when I turned 30</h2>Around my 30th birthday, I started having these existential questions and ideas. I had recently moved from San Francisco to New York City. That was also right at the start of COVID, so I had a lot of <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-the-pandemic-changed-my-career-2-years-stories-2022-3">alone time to reflect.</a>I was seeing this whole new world in <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/san-francisco-new-york-london-tech-where-to-live-2024-8">New York City</a>, with so many diverse careers. In San Francisco, I knew a lot of tech founders. It was still pretty desolate at the time. There were lots of empty storefronts. I would go on these long walks and start fantasizing about what I would do with the space.I've always been passionate about hosting. I love to curate an environment. I'm obsessed with the little details like glassware, music, lighting, and sparkling water choice. I grew up in a family where my mom and grandma would host huge parties all the time and I was the mini host. I'm Middle Eastern and I think there is a sense of Middle Eastern hospitality that's embedded within me.My <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/guides/kitchen/types-of-wine">wine journey</a> started young. My stepdad collected limited-production Pinot Noirs. He introduced me to wine and taught me how to taste and the artisanship that goes into production.When I think about it now, it was pretty brazen to start a wine bar. But it was COVID, and <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-people-changed-careers-jobs-during-pandemic-2022-3">life felt so short and precious</a>. I wanted to prove to myself I could do itIt was either get stuck in this unfulfilling career trajectory and <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/careerist-corporate-ladder-decline-promotions-work-ethic-american-dream-2024-10">climb the corporate ladder</a>, or try to be an entrepreneur. It was a huge leap of faith and required me to believe in myself 100%So, in the summer of 2022, I got a job at a wine bar in Brooklyn to see what it was like. I was so passionate about it.After that, I started pursuing my wine education and got my Wine and Spirit Education Trust certification, which is a globally recognized qualification. I got a job at a wine shop. And I fully committed to opening my own bar.<h2 id="49faa484-70c2-47b4-9558-670c2708ed17">My tech experience came in handy</h2>A lot of my past work was helpful as I was building the bar. I knew how to manage teams. I had always worked at the ground level, so I had experience juggling a lot of responsibilities and working with limited resources.I started asking everyone to introduce me to other entrepreneurs and asking about their contractors, their agents, and their plumbers.<div type="image" title="A photo of Shanna Nasiri posing at her wine bar next to a photo of Williamsburg" height="1500" width="3000" msid="115114935" hostid="261" sizebytes="153358"></div>I used my own money and opened the bar on a very small budget.It took me a year to find the space because I was only looking for places within a few blocks of my home. I wanted it to be really integrated with the community. I found the space in June 2023 and started construction in October 2023.We opened in March of this year. It's been incredible. It's beyond anything I could have ever imagined.It has quickly become the neighborhood spot. We have regulars that come in twice a week. And the coolest thing has started happening recently, where I have probably met 11 or 12 parents of our regulars.I've continually reinvested in the bar. For example, the backyard buildout happened three months after we opened. After that, I built out the basement and cellar. Then I invested in hiring a general manager and growing out the wine list.<h2 id="ac1863d1-953a-4300-b4ce-24a04c6e730e">It's been a major lifestyle change from tech</h2>I don't have health insurance. I'm working probably 12-hour days. There's just so much stuff to do in terms of maintenance. And I work service every single night.In tech, I could work from anywhere. I traveled a lot and <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/working-remotely-feel-isolated-from-coworkers-quit-2024-7">worked remotely</a>. Now, I have a physical space. I haven't left a 20-mile radius since Christmas and have no plans to.But I feel so aligned with what I'm doing. It feels like what I was always meant to be doing. I work way more hours than I did in tech, but it doesn't feel as hard.I'm in such awe of what we've been able to create in such a short amount of time.

Well, yes, but he's also a YouTuber.</li></ul><a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-joe-rogan-tony-hinchcliffe-rally-election-campaign-2024-10">Podcasts played a huge role in getting Donald Trump re-elected</a> this week. Right? Or maybe it was Twitter. Or TikTok. Could be all of them. And it could also be that people interested in those mediums and platforms have reasons to want to believe they were important. But if you're going to look at the way the internet played a role in the election and you're not talking about YouTube, you're doing it wrong. So, once again: <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/youtube-valuation-mrbeast-how-much-worth-2024-3">YouTube is massive</a> — so massive <a target="_blank" href="https://abc.xyz/assets/71/a5/78197a7540c987f13d247728a371/2024q3-alphabet-earnings-release.pdf">it generated $50 billion in revenue over the last year</a>, with the majority of that coming from advertising. Advertisers are spending that money because that's where the eyeballs are. And certainly, some of those eyeballs consumed a lot of political/election content over the last year. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.pewresearch.org/journalism/fact-sheet/social-media-and-news-fact-sheet/">Pew Research</a> says 32% of American adults regularly get their news from YouTube — more than any other social media platform except for Facebook, at 33%. And I'm very confident — based on my non-scientific poll of my teenage sons, who inhale YouTube — that those numbers are way, way bigger for young people. What do people who watch political stuff watch on YouTube? In some cases, it's just another version of TV: Fox News reportedly drew as many as 1.1 million concurrent viewers for its election-day livestream on YouTube. That was about 10% of its conventional TV audience, but still notable for a platform that skews very young. Overall, YouTube viewers consumed 67 million hours of live streams on Election Day, per <a target="_blank" href="https://fortune.com/2024/11/06/youtube-election-news-trump-harris-twitch-rumble-stream-fox-nbc/">Streams Charts</a>. But what was most interesting about the election was the way the Trump campaign spent the summer embracing YouTube personalities. Starting with people you've heard of, like Joe Rogan, down to ones you may have never heard of before this year, like the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/FULLSENDPODCAST">Nelk Boys</a>. Wait a minute! I can hear you saying. Isn't Joe Rogan a podcaster? Absolutely. But Rogan, like many other creators/influencers/personalities, creates content that lives on multiple platforms at the same time. You can listen to his <keyword id="20677488" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="podcasts" source="keywords">podcasts</keyword> on Spotify, but you can listen to them — and watch them — on YouTube. And that happens way more often than you might think. <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.edisonresearch.com/youtube-is-the-preferred-podcast-listening-service/">Edison Research</a> says YouTube — including both regular, free YouTube and YouTube's paid YouTube Music service — is the most popular way for people to listen to (or watch) podcasts. You can see it in some of the numbers. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBMoPUAeLnY">Rogan's October interview with Trump</a> has drawn a staggering 47 million views (note: Don't try comparing this to a TV rating, since YouTube reportedly counts a "view" as 30 seconds of watching — and someone who watches for a bit, stops and comes back to the same video later in the day, will count as a second view). <a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRyyTAs1XY8">The one he did with JD Vance</a> this month is now above 15 million. But even <a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/@joerogan">a standard-issue Rogan interview</a> can generate 2 million views or more. And there is a universe of conservative podcasts, or podcasts that aren't political but are open to conservative guests that do big numbers on YouTube, from former Fox hosts Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly to former reality TV star Theo Von. Trump visited all of them. You can also find bits of their shows on places like Instagram and TikTok. But they focus their efforts on YouTube, for the reasons many creators do. For starters, you can find a big audience there. And YouTube's algorithmic discovery mechanism means creators can get themselves in front of audiences that weren't looking for them. Podcast audiences, by contrast, grow slowly — but tend to stick around once they connect with someone they like, says Chris Balfe, CEO of <a target="_blank" href="https://www.redseatventures.com/clients">Red Seat Ventures</a>, a company that helps the likes of Carlson, Kelly and The Free Press' Bari Weiss sell ads for their shows. And, unlike platforms like Instagram and TikTok — podcasters can get a meaningful share of the <keyword id="20015770" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="advertising-revenue" source="keywords">advertising revenue</keyword> generated by their YouTube audiences. (There are also liberal/left podcasters/YouTubers, like Crooked Media, the company behind Pod Save America. But there aren't nearly as many of them, and they don't have the same kind of reach, as journalist <a target="_blank" href="https://www.usermag.co/p/why-democrats-wont-build-their-own">Taylor Lorenz notes</a>.) So should we be calling these folks podcasters? Or YouTubers? Yes, says Balfe. "I think they're the same thing. We should think about it as a podcast plus a <keyword id="23944857" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="YouTube-election" source="keywords">YouTube election</keyword>," he says. "Or a <keyword id="20437786" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="creator-economy" source="keywords">creator economy</keyword> election. The best-performing talents do well everywhere." Speaking to BI at the US Open, first-time attendee Calum Beedling, 32, said he thinks the event is more accessible to "casual" tennis fans than other major tournaments, which is part of what makes it so popular."It has a certain je ne sais quoi with the night matches that no other tournament can really offer, especially at this stage," Beedling said, adding that "when there's an American player in it, it makes tennis feel like more of a party" than usual."I'm an avid tennis fan and player, and I think a lot of people get hung up on etiquette around it, and it might feel inaccessible for that reason," he said. <ul class="summary-list"><li>Some young people are considering a "lavender marriage" over a traditional relationship.</li><li>Lavender marriages historically helped conceal sexual orientation, but Gen Zers are redefining it.</li></ul>For many young people right now, the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dating-apps-find-love-romance-online-tinder-match-total-scam-2024-10">dating scene is rough</a>, their families are far away, and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/high-rent-costs-renters-rental-housing-market-affordability-income-prices-2024-5">housing is expensive</a>.To share the load, some are opening up applications for "lavender marriages" — something that was once the preserve of the LGBTQ+ community.The term was originally coined in the early 20th to describe a union between a man and a woman in which one or both partners are homosexual or bisexual.It was meant to provide a facade for those who wanted to hide their sexuality from wider society.But lavender marriages have made a resurgence on social media in recent months among Gen Zers who are tired of being broke, single, <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tiktokers-are-documenting-the-epidemic-of-loneliness-2023-4">and lonely</a>. Some videos with the hashtag #lavendermarriage on TikTok have amassed <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdeFu9BW/">millions of views</a> on the platform.Robbie Scott, a TikToker and musician with 300,000 followers, recently posted a video asking for "applications for a lavender marriage" because he wanted to live with someone so he could afford mortgage payments, utilities, and taxes."You can mess around with whoever you want, whenever you want, I don't care," he said in the video, which has received <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGdeYrKj4/">more than five million views</a>. "In fact, I encourage it. Have fun. Live your best life."<h2 id="1c4be94f-a91b-485c-9850-ac0905f2ba7c">A modern-day lavender marriage</h2>Traditionally, a lavender marriage was just that — a legally binding marriage.Edward Reese, a gender and sexuality expert at the LGBTQ+ dating app Taimi, told Business Insider that this can still be true. It can bring benefits such as inheritance rights, childcare, tax breaks, better mortgage rates, and primary care if one of you gets ill."People can do it in case one or both partners don't have family or have gone no contact, and their lavender spouse becomes not only their best friend but a legal family member," he said.But the modern version of a lavender marriage could also simply be a spoken agreement between two people to live their lives like a married couple, without the sex.This is different from having a roommate, Reese added, who can move out of a shared household any minute, whenever they choose."The couple in the lavender marriage is expected to get through all the conflicts, discuss and compromise," he said. "It's a union with commitment, love, and loyalty, and all of these can be not romantic."Christine DeVore, a licensed clinical psychologist who is the director of adult and couples services at Birch Psychology, told BI that a lavender marriage offers a practical solution to some of life's burdens."It's a way to ease financial stress while still being independent," she said.While somewhat tongue-in-cheek, Scott's video on TikTok prompted other Gen Zers to share their thoughts. They said lavender marriages were "<a target="_blank" href="https://www.tiktok.com/@a_literal_crab_rangoon/video/7421015761826663722">looking more appealing by the day</a>" and that the agreement might be what they "<a target="_blank" href="https://www.tiktok.com/@afreakingmaya/video/7375348974997523758">really need</a>."Several older viewers commented, saying they had given lavender marriages a try and were happier than ever.<div type="image" title="Couple holding hands, wearing wedding rings, on their wedding day." height="2574" width="3861" msid="114123013" hostid="261" sizebytes="164894"></div>Sofie Roos, a licensed sexologist, relationship therapist, and sexual health expert who writes for the sex-positive magazine <a target="_blank" href="https://passionerad.se/">Passionerad</a>, added that there are many other benefits to a lavender marriage, including physical touch and comfort.She said benefits can include "cuddling in front of a TV show or when reading a book, sleeping together, and providing physical support and safety when needed.""Just as in every marriage, you feel safe with the person," Roos added. "Even though no attraction is involved, you can gain much more from being physically close to your lavender married partner than being close to a friend or to a one-night stand."<h2 id="0b761dc2-b1a7-47c3-8360-c29646ae62d2">A deeper issue</h2>It's unclear exactly how many lavender marriages are taking place, and to what extent the conversations on TikTok reflect a wider trend. But they do hint at more serious societal issues.Dating is still big business. Dating companies generated more than <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dating-apps-find-love-romance-online-tinder-match-total-scam-2024-10">$5 billion</a> in 2023 alone. Match Group generated annual revenues of more than $3.4 billion, while Bumble had revenues of $1.1 billion last year.But growth appears to be slowing. Match Group's paying users fell by around 6% in the first quarter of the year. It is now valued at $9.51 billion, down from $50 billion in 2021. Meanwhile, Bumble's value has fallen by around 90% since it went public in 2021. It is now worth around $822 million.That may be because Gen Zers are <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/gen-z-dating-trend-online-apps-friends-romantic-partners-relationships-2023-3">turning away from </a>dating apps, with some thinking the apps now miss the point of what made them fun in the first place — <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tinder-hinge-okcupid-operator-match-sued-making-dating-apps-addictive-2024-2">going after profits</a> rather than real connections.Others are tired of modern dating culture, with <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/fancy-first-date-no-connection-ghosted-2023-8">ghosting</a>, catfishing, and some prospective partners not showing up to dates at all.One creator, Cleopatra, who is 23, told BI that what really appealed to her is the community aspect, where women can live without fear of being hurt or abused."I think the majority want change," Cleopatra said. "This patriarchal lifestyle, these gender roles, are becoming exhausting, to say the least.""The dating pool is certainly full of shit," she added.She said the financial stability the arrangement could offer was also definitely a draw, particularly given <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/gen-z-millennials-housing-costs-insurance-debt-election-trump-biden-2024-6">Zoomers have more debt</a> and are paying more for housing than millennials did a decade ago.According to a recent <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dating-apps-find-love-romance-online-tinder-match-total-scam-2024-10">Washington Post</a> analysis of Bureau of Labor Statistics data, Gen Z is spending 31% more on housing costs compared to what millennials paid 10 years ago, a figure which also factors in inflation.The Post analysis said that car insurance costs increased more than twofold for Americans aged 16 to 24 between 2012 and 2022, and health insurance costs spiked 46% for this group during the same time span.That has led some to consider "<a target="_blank" href="https://nypost.com/2023/12/13/lifestyle/i-want-an-inflationship-lets-live-sexless-and-financially-free-in-the-same-bed/">inflationships</a>" — living in the same room, in the same bed, without having sex. Lavender marriages could just be furthering this trend.<h2 id="d50f74e2-7f51-4604-8646-2d542838f5a1">Boundaries are important</h2>For young people who are reconsidering how to approach relationships, a lavender marriage "can be a great replacement," Reese said. People are more commonly discovering they are aromantic or asexual, he added, which questions the pop culture norm of focusing on straight sex and love for so long.There are challenges, however. DeVore and Roos warned that emotional complexities can arise from such entanglements, and open communication about boundaries and feelings is vital for it to work.For example, the rules of a lavender marriage may be vague, meaning there could be the potential for upset down the line. Partners may disagree on what is allowed outside the relationship and what isn't and have different ideas of what defines cheating.Roos said this is when lavender marriages can show their weak side, triggering feelings of jealousy and sadness if one partner starts feeling left out.The arrangement may also not suit both people forever, such as if one decides to pursue a romantic relationship."What felt OK when talking things through before, or at the beginning, of the marriage, might therefore, later on not feel OK at all," Roos said.Ultimately, she said challenges and conflicts can arise even in the most committed partnerships, DeVore said."While a lavender marriage may offer certain advantages, it does not guarantee a lifetime of happiness and fulfillment," she said."It's important to remember that no relationship, including a lavender marriage, is immune to heartache."
