The company has confirmed that the device will be launched in India and globally on January 7, 2025. The OnePlus 13 is the successor to the<a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/mobile/news/oneplus-12-review/articleshow/108723955.cms"> OnePlus 12,</a> which was launched in India in January 2024. It has several improvements over its predecessor, including the new<a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/mobile/news/snapdragon-8-elite-announced-to-power-iqoo-13-oneplus-13-xiaomi-15-series-and-more/articleshow/114463844.cms"> Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite</a> chipset, a bigger battery, improved cameras, and more. As the device has already been announced, the specifications are already known. <h2>OnePlus 13 specifications</h2>The OnePlus 13 runs on Android 15 out of the box with OxygenOS 15 on top. The device features a 6.82-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and Crystal Shield super ceramic glass protection. It offers up to 1600 nits of typical brightness and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. It also offers 2160Hz high-frequency PWM Dimming. The OnePlus 13 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite and was launched in four variants in China: 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage, and 24GB RAM + 1TB internal storage. Currently, there is no information about which variants will be launched in India. The OnePlus 13 features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT-808 sensor, OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with the Samsung JN1 sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor with 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. On the front, the device sports a 32MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor, offering 4K 30fps video recording. The OnePlus 13 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery, 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support. It can be charged from 0 to 100% in 36 minutes with the 100W charger. It is IP68 + IP69 certified rated for water and dust resistance and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. OnePlus 13 to launch in India on January 7 – Here’s everything we know so far

<ul><li>The Indian PC market recorded its second-best quarter with a shipment of 4.49 million devices in Q3 2024.</li><li>The growth in part is due to the online festival sales by e-commerce giants and retailers.</li><li>HP continues to lead the Indian PC market with a share of over 29%.</li></ul> The Indian personal computer or PC market has recorded its second highest-ever shipments at 4.49 million devices in Q3 2024, recording a 0.1% growth year-on-year. According to a report by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the growth in sales was recorded due to online festival sales which began early this year. “The e-tail sales, which typically start around the second week of October, began in late September, leading to a surge in PC shipments,” said Bharath Shenoy, Research Manager, IDC India &amp; South Asia. In Q3 2024, desktops recorded an 8.1% year-on-year decline, notebooks recorded a 2.8% year-on-year growth and workstations recorded a 2.4% year-on-year growth. Premium notebooks priced above $1,000 recorded a 7.6% year-on-year growth. “Brands capitalized on e-tail sales by offering steep discounts, cashback, and bundled accessories. Many of them also matched similar pricing in their brand stores and offline channels like Larger Format Retail stores (LFRs), leading to the second biggest consumer quarter in history,” Shenoy added. Acer has recorded good growth, with its market share rising from 11.6% in Q3 2023 to 14.6% in Q3 2024. Asus on the other hand reported a decline from 12.5% in Q3 2023 to 9.7% in Q3 2024. “The Commercial PC Market in India is on the recovery path as enterprises have slowly started refreshing their IT devices. India’s PC market reaches new high with 4.49 million shipments in Q3 2024

<ul><li>The Indian wearable market has declined for the second consecutive quarter.</li><li>The smartwatch segment has recorded a huge decline in shipments in Q3 2024.</li><li>The earwear segment has also declined, while the smart ring segment remains strong.</li></ul>The <keyword id="22725790" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-wearables-market" source="keywords">Indian wearables market</keyword> has declined for the second consecutive quarter, recording a 20.7% year-on-year decline in shipments in Q3 2024. There was a 10% decline in shipments in Q2 2024. According to a report by the International Data Corporation, 38 million devices were shipped in the country’s wearables market in Q3 2024. The decline is being attributed to a reduction in new product launches and a cautious inventory strategy. <h2>Smartwatch shipments decline</h2>The smartwatch category recorded a decline of 44.8% as shipments declined from 16.92 million devices in Q3 2023 to 9.34 million in Q3 2024. Not just the basic smartwatches, the shipments of premium smartwatches also declined by 39.9% year-on-year. The Smartwatch average selling price (ASP) however increased by 1.4% from $25.8 to $26.2. The wristband category, which remained strong in Q2 has also declined in Q3, recording a 48.4% year-on-year decline in shipments. The earwear category also struggled, with a 7.5% decline in shipments from 30.29 million in Q3 2023 to 28.52 in Q3 2024. <h2>The smart ring category continues to shine</h2>The smart ring market has remained strong, with 92 thousand smart rings shipped in Q3 2024. The quarter also recorded a decline in the average selling price of 16.2% to $162.1. Ultrahuman continues to lead the smart ring category in India with a 36.8% market share, boAt comes in second with a 20.5% share and Pi Ring is third with a 16.3% market share. <h2>Smartwatch market Worldwide tablet shipments grow by 20.4% in Q3 2024, Apple leads with over 31% market share

Indian PC market records 7.1% growth in Q2 2024, HP leads with nearly a third market share

Despite declining shipments, the market value hit a new record for Q2. The company reported a 23% year-on-year growth in shipments, driven by its streamlined and focused portfolio. Vivo has emerged as a close second with a market share of 18.8% in Q2 2024, up from 17.4% in Q2 2023. The company maintained the second spot. Samsung, which was at the top spot in Q2 2023 with an 18.4% market share was pushed to the third spot with a market share of 18.1%. Realme and Vivo maintained the fourth and fifth spots with a market share of 12.5% and 11.4% respectively. <h2>Indians moving towards <keyword id="19914395" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="premium-smartphones" source="keywords">premium smartphones</keyword></h2>Indian consumers are moving towards premium smartphones and this was evident in Q2 2024 as the value of smartphones shipped reached a new high for Q2 despite a decline in shipments. The ultra-premium segment, which consists of smartphones priced above INR 45,000 recorded a 24% year-on-year growth.
