The ‘cease and desist’ notice claims that the lawyer has been posting disparaging content with ‘malicious and mala fide intent’ to harm the company’s reputation. As per the notice, Gaurav Gulati must remove all the tweets and any other information posted by him on social media platforms. He has been asked to cease and desist from making or publishing ‘any such defamatory videos or derogatory statements’ against OnePlus and its products. Advocate Gaurav Gulati shared the legal notice sent to him in a tweet<a href="https://twitter.com/Adv_Gulati1/status/1439251394205155333"></a>. The notice was sent by DSK Legal, which is the legal partner of Mobitech Creations — the subsidiary of OnePlus in India. OnePlus had reached out to Gulati after he posted about the explosion on Twitter. Gulati alleges that the blast took place when he was sitting in his chamber and it was not in use or charging. Gulati had refused to give the phone for investigation claiming to have found the team to be insensitive and that it could tamper with the evidence regarding the explosion. The lawyer alleged that the explosion happened on September 8 and he suffered burn injuries on his stomach due to the severe heat coming from the phone. OnePlus sends legal notice to lawyer who alleged Nord 2 explosion — asks him to remove tweets and offer an apology

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has attributed the significant <keyword id="20029550" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="rise" source="keywords">rise</keyword> in <keyword id="20233512" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="dengue-cases" source="keywords">dengue cases</keyword> in the city this year to an increase in the number of <keyword id="22375552" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="testing-centres" source="keywords">testing centres</keyword>, which has grown from 36 to 900 compared to last year, according to an official report. As of July 6, Delhi recorded over 256 dengue cases, which is nearly double of the 136 cases recorded in the corresponding period in 2023 and the highest since 2020, according to the report's data. In previous years, the number of dengue cases stood at 153 in 2022, 38 in 2021, and 22 in 2020. The highest number of dengue cases were recorded in the Najafgarh Zone, the report said. No deaths due to the vector-borne disease have been reported so far this year. Last year, 19 deaths occurred due to dengue, the second-highest since 2020. "The rise in the number of cases this year is because more testing centres have started collecting samples and reporting the dengue cases to the civic body. Until last year, there were about 36 testing centres. Now, this number has increased to 900 because of which the numbers appear to be inflated," a senior civic body official said. The peak season for dengue is yet to arrive in Delhi and the situation will call for urgent attention when the monsoon advances, providing a suitable atmosphere for <keyword id="21283114" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mosquito-breeding" source="keywords">mosquito breeding</keyword> to increase significantly, the official said. Usually, it takes about 10-15 days for a larva to become an adult mosquito that spreads dengue. The MCD is taking various measures to curb breeding at the source, another official said. According to the report, in areas under the jurisdiction of other agencies like New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), Delhi Cantt and Railways, around 10 dengue cases were reported as of July 6. The report also shows data on other vector-borne diseases. The number of malaria cases reported until the end of last week stood at 90, while chikungunya cases were logged at 22. The MCD conducted over 1.8 crore house visits to check for domestic mosquito breeding and found breeding in over 43,000 houses, the report said. Samsung's first F-series phone with 5G support, Galaxy F42, to launch soon

FMCG major <keyword id="6356830" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="nestle-india" source="Orion">Nestle India</keyword> is increasing the number of its women employees as part of its gender diversity efforts. Presently, around 23 per cent of <keyword id="75190" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="nestle" source="Orion">Nestle</keyword> <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword>'s workforce are women, its Chairman and Managing Director <keyword id="2691730" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="suresh-narayanan" source="Orion">Suresh Narayanan</keyword> said on Monday. "We moved a fair degree on this. When I came to Nestle India in 2015, at that time we were at about 15-16 per cent. We have moved now to 23 per cent," Narayanan told reporters at a virtual media roundtable. Nestle India, which currently operates eight plants in the country and will soon commission the ninth, employs over 7,700 people. "That is not the end, we would like to do much better than this. And in fact last year in 2020, 42 per cent of all the recruitment that we did within the company were women candidates and it is a trend that is continuing this year as well," Narayanan added. At Nestle's new plant in Sanand, Gujarat, which will manufacture its range of popular instant noodles <keyword id="6369404" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="maggi" source="Orion">Maggi</keyword>, 62 per cent of the employees would be female. "One of the epitomes of diversity for the company would be getting commissioned in the next few weeks. Our factory in Sanand is almost near completion. 62 per cent of the Sanand factory workforce would be women," he said. Nestle is investing around Rs 700 crore in the Sanand plant. Besides, Narayanan said Nestle India has invested about Rs 300 crore so far on augmenting capacity of its existing plants. This is part of its earlier announced plans to invest Rs 2,600 crore in the next three-four years. Nestle India has also submitted proposals for the government's Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for the food processing sector. However, he did not divulge any details.
