He's the last speaker of the day. 
He opened with a joke, "Welcome to day two of the Sohn Conference." 
His investment pick is going long Oil States International, a low cost drilling provider. 
Barry Rosenstein's JANA Partners also has a stake in OIS. When JANA filed its 13D someone at Greenlight asked Einhorn if Rosenstein was speaking at Sohn.
The stock is up more than 2.9% in after-hours trading.
He says OIS is low cost, highly mobile and it has 34 rigs. It has lower than average growth margins, he added.
Einhorn said that OIS's tubular services, where it's a market leader, are cheap relative to its competitors. He said that this business drags down the value of the company as a whole.
He added that OIS offshore segment is also undervalued.
Last year at Sohn, Einhorn slammed Martin Marietta Materials. The stock is up about 56% since then, though.

Industry sources told IANS on Thursday that Galaxy F54 will come with super-steady <keyword id="174375" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="OIS" source="Orion">OIS</keyword> as well as a new 'Astrolapse' feature for photography enthusiasts. Galaxy F54 is tipped to get Samsung's flagship Nightography feature, enabling consumers to take great pictures in low-light conditions. The device will add to Samsung's portfolio of premium 5G smartphones and will help the company consolidate its 5G leadership in the country. Galaxy F54 is likely to come with Super AMOLED+ display and Android 13 OS out of the box, according to sources. Samsung launched the F series smartphones in 2020 to target young Indian consumers. The F series smartphones sell on Flipkart, Samsung.com and select retail channels. In March, the company launched Galaxy F14 5G with a segment-only 6000mAh battery in India at a starting price of Rs 12,990. Galaxy F14 5G supports 13 bands for super-fast 5G connectivity. It features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 90Hz display providing users with an immersive viewing experience. The display comes protected with Gorilla Glass 5, which lets users stay worry-free. Samsung Galaxy F54 with super steady OIS, Nightography feature in India this month

Smartphone brand <keyword id="6485927" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="realme" source="Orion">realme</keyword> has reportedly confirmed that the GT 2 Pro, which is set to debut on January 4, will feature a triple rear camera setup with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The TENAA listing of the <keyword id="12477196" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Realme-GT-2-Pro" source="Orion">realme GT 2 Pro</keyword> revealed that it is equipped with a 50MP+50MP+2MP triple camera unit. The poster released by the company reveals that the realme GT 2 Pro will be equipped with an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, reports GizmoChina. The report mentioned that the smartphone will be the company's first smartphone to arrive with OIS support. OIS is a technology for cameras that physically moves the camera lens or sensor to compensate for unintentional camera movement. It appears that the second 50MP camera available in realme GT 2 Pro's camera setup will offer an industry-first 150-degree of field-of-view, as per the report. As the company had confirmed earlier, realme GT 2 Pro will be the world's first phone to feature a Fisheye mode that produces an ultra-long depth of field effect for creative photography. The company recently said that the realme GT 2 Pro is the first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. realme GT 2 Pro also integrates the top two cellular antennas with an NFC signal transceiver function, increasing the sensing area by 500 per cent and the sensing distance by 20 per cent. The entire upper part of the realme GT 2 Pro senses NFC signals in either direction, facilitating the use of NFC for swiping cards or smartphones. The company said that its upcoming smartphone series has been co-designed by Naoto Fukasawa and realme Design Studio with a unique "Paper Tech Master" design to appeal to a younger audience and give users a premium feel. Realme GT 2 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, triple camera setup to launch on January 4

<keyword id="6354427" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="apple" source="Orion">Apple</keyword> has warned <keyword id="6354606" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="iPhone" source="Orion">iPhone</keyword> users that the cameras on their devices can be damaged by exposure to certain vibrational frequencies such as those generated by high-power <keyword id="6359451" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Motorcycle" source="Orion">motorcycle</keyword> engines. iPhone <keyword id="6364276" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="camera" source="Orion">camera</keyword> lenses with optical image stabilisation (OIS) or closed-loop autofocus (AF) are susceptible to this damage due to their use of gyroscopes and/or magnetic sensors to help compensate for movement and vibration when shooting photos or video. According to MacRumors, the OIS and closed-loop AF systems in iPhone are designed for durability. However, as is the case with many consumer electronics that include systems like OIS, long-term direct exposure to high-amplitude vibrations within certain frequency ranges may degrade the performance of these systems and lead to reduced image quality for photos and videos. It is recommended to avoid exposing your iPhone to extended high-amplitude vibrations, the report said. Due to this risk, Apple recommends that users not attach their iPhones directly to the chassis or handlebars of such motorcycles, as the direct transmission of vibrations can be intense. Apple even recommends that users mounting their devices to lower-powered devices like mopeds and electric scooters at least use a vibration-dampening mount to minimise the chances of any damage.
