It's basically a lip gloss-lip color combo that promises 16-hour, no-transfer wear. This whole no-budge, no-bleed, no-fade thing sounds a little too good to be true, especially for 16 hours, so we're gonna be putting it to the test. Actually, multiple tests, because I'm going to be eating, drinking, kissing my hand, and showering on top of wearing this lip color for the next 16 hours. These could be great for all of the mask wearing we're doing, so let me put this on, and we can start the timer. So, this is a two-step application process.First you put on the lip color, and you have to wait 90 seconds for it to dry. Then you can go in and apply the lip gloss, which is actually really, really smooth and really nice feeling on the lips. The lip color does feel kind of sticky before the dry-down starts to happen. It's like you can't rub your lips together, because I'm pretty sure it'll, like, lift the color and move stuff around. I think the actual pigmentation is really, really good. Like, this is intense. It's so bright and vibrant. The gloss, this is good. This is good stuff. I would buy this if it was separate from the lip color. This is that good. It has zero smell, which is also something that I always appreciate.Now I'm just gonna kiss the back of my hand to see if there's any transfer. This is how I make out. I don't see anything. The gloss at this point has fully rubbed off. The gloss is not what's transfer-proof, it's the actual lip color, but the lip color doesn't seem to be moving. I'm rubbing. And another thing is that it doesn't feel drying, which I feel like is always associated with these long-wearing lip products. It doesn't feel drying at all, especially because you can put the gloss on top without worrying about it messing up the color.And just to see if these are actually mask-proof, we're gonna try it out with my mask. The inside of it is white. There is some makeup on it. Ignore that, but let's see if any transfer comes off on the mask. I should probably talk. La, la, la, la, la! [laughs] Um, I don't know what to say. But at this point there's probably something on the mask. I see another one of those little red dots that I think is just flaking off from the inside of my mouth. But I don't see any of the <keyword id="50225" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="lipstick">lipstick</keyword> on here.OK, I'm starving, so it's a good time to test how well this lipstick holds up while I'm eating and drinking. So, I tried to get foods that are, like, a little on the messy side. So we have some very saucy pasta, this is penne with vodka sauce, and we also have garlic bread, which is going to be very oily, it's greasy, so hopefully this stays put. I'm not seeing anything come off on the can. So, here's what my lips look like after eating for a while. I feel like there's no difference, except that now my lips have cheese on them. I guess what I was expecting was that the oil from the food was gonna start to break it down into, like, a slipperier texture, and it's not doing that. It still feels totally dry. It is 3:10 p.m. right now. I put this on at around 11 a.m. this morning. All of my lip gloss has pretty much disappeared. My lips are starting to feel slightly drier than when I first applied, but it's nothing too terrible. I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable.These Nyx lip colors aren't technically marketed as waterproof, but I ran some swatches under water and they did not budge, which is making me think that they definitely are, so let's see how it holds up when I'm in the shower. Here's how my lips are looking after that shower. I feel like they look a lot drier than they feel. It's interesting, it doesn't feel very dry at all. It hasn't changed in dryness from the last time I commented on it, but it looks kind of, like, crackly. Still nothing. Nothing is transferring, nothing transferred with the water, so I think that this is holding up pretty good, actually.I was supposed to wake up at 5 a.m. to do my 16-hour check-in, and it's now 7 a.m., so I have had this lipstick on my lips for the past 18 hours. I'm ready to take it off, but thoroughly impressed with how much lipstick is on my mouth at this point in time. You can see that it really came apart in the inside and did kind of flake off in some areas, like right here it looks like some came off. I know that I wore this two hours longer than I said I was going to, but I think that makes it all the more impressive, OK? 'Cause it's still there. This is not maybe 100% perfect, but this has probably been one of the most long-lasting lip products I think I've ever tried. Maybe I'm just, like, still half asleep and can't really see very well. Ignore my face. This looks.... I'm gonna go take a shower now and put on some clothes, maybe run a brush through my hair, and then I will tell you what I think about the Shine Loud lip colors. I just applied some all over my lips and let it sit for a bit, then used a micellar wipe. It did take a couple of tries, but eventually it all came off. I feel like I was confused as to what this actually was, because the shade range actually had normal concealer shades and what I would consider more corrector shades. So I went with the peach one to use as a corrector/brightener under my concealer. I guess it's supposed to conceal and brighten and correct. I did like the brightening effect with this, although it is more subtle. I feel like it's super lightweight and blendable. It's not a thick consistency at all, so you can layer it up if you want. That's what I tried to do. However, I don't think the effect is that impressive where I can say it's worth $25.I was very intrigued by this KVD Beauty ModCon Liquid-Gel <keyword id="678403" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="Blush">Blush</keyword>, just because of the term "Liquid-Gel." The texture of this is very bizarre. It's very thin, and it feels like nothing. I can't even explain it well. But I was nervous to put this on foundation, because I felt like it was going to break it up. It didn't. I actually liked this way more than I thought I was going to, but it is a little sheer for me. I did end up adding more, but the problem when you do that is that it adds more shininess, which I didn't love, but I don't hate this. I'm gonna say that $26 for it feels excessive.NYX came out with this Lip Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid <keyword id="50225" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="lipstick">Lipstick</keyword>, which reminded me a lot of its Shine Loud High Shine Lip Color, only without the gloss. NYX, please shorten your product names. It's basically that, but just a more matte liquid lipstick. I'm a fully converted gloss girl now, so applying a liquid lipstick did have me stressed out, but the formula is actually pretty nice. I did one thin layer, which I think is key for products like this because I find that they do not layer well, but one layer was all I needed for full coverage. I ate, I drank, and I wore this lipstick for over eight hours, and it stayed looking good. It's pretty transfer-proof. I did see some fading on the inside of my mouth, but overall I think this is great, for people who are into this sort of thing.I was so excited for this Maybelline Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer, because I love the Fit Me line and skin tints are so popular right now, but this sucked so bad. I'm so disappointed. Off of the face, the texture honestly felt really nice and hydrating. But then I started applying, and it dried down so quickly, I couldn't blend it in. I was beating my own face with my sponge, trying to get it to move, and it didn't. I completely removed it and reapplied it again, but it still was not the most flattering on my skin. I just think it made my texture worse and also caked up in some areas and overall just looked very not good. Don't buy this one.Next, we have the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. I feel like I said that in Spanish, but it's supposed to be French. I'm going to start off by saying I really liked this, but that is not me saying you need a $58 setting powder. I'm just saying if you were looking for a $58 setting powder, I would get this one. The multicolored powder thing looks cool, but they all kind of blend into one pretty translucent shade. I think this actually did a nice job of smoothing out my pores, and it set my <keyword id="29496" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Makeup">makeup</keyword> without making me feel dry. I did feel like there was some illuminating effect, which is what I think the green and purple powders are for. But this has a very perfumy smell, which I hate. I choked several times. Let's ban scents in makeup. Thank you so much. And, lastly, we have another weird blush.This is the Bite Beauty Daycation Whipped Cream Blush. I feel like the worst part about this blush is the packaging. It's so hard to get any product out, and when you do, it just kind of shoots out, so you get so much product and kind of waste it. But I do like the texture. It's kind of mousse-y, and the color of the blush itself is very pretty. It's glowy, but I feel like it's a little too metallic for it to look like natural dewiness, if that makes any sense. I do feel like the metallicness enhanced my texture a bit, but it wasn't too bad. I just think that for $32, I've tried better liquid-blush formulas. But you can actually use this on the eyes, and I like it more as kind of a cream shadow than I do as a blush.

And because I found myself touching up the gloss throughout the day, I worry that I'll run out of one product before the other.The lipstick was also so transfer-proof that I had trouble removing it at the end of the day. A standard makeup wipe barely worked. Instead, it took an oil-infused makeup-removing balm to erase all the color.While that wouldn't be an issue for me day-to-day - I don't typically use makeup wipes - I do worry that if I wanted to remove the lip product mid-day, I'd have to wait until I had access to a heavy-duty makeup remover.<h2>I can see why the NYX lip product has received so much hype online, even if it's not my cup of tea</h2>Overall, I was impressed with these TikTok-famous lipsticks. They delivered on the promise of being transfer-proof, and the oil-infused topcoat made my lips feel hydrated and plump. I also appreciate that they're vegan, costs less than $15, and are sold in a wide variety of colors.Still, I'm not sure they're going to replace any of my favorite lipsticks or glosses. I prefer wearing one lip product at a time, and I personally found the matte lipstick too sticky and dry to want to wear it all day - even with a glossy layer on top of it.As is the case with many beauty products, your personal makeup preferences will determine whether or not this lipstick and lip-gloss combo is for you. And even though there are about a million lip-gloss formulas out there, for me, the perfect lip gloss has incredible shine, it's as long-lasting as a lip gloss could possibly be, and it's not too sticky. I don't mind a little bit of stick, but if I see those goopy-goop lines every time I open my mouth, we're gonna have some problems. Because the lip glosses that I'm gonna be trying out have different finishes, I'm not gonna be focusing on color payoff or anything like that. We're just gonna judge them on their performance, and I'm gonna be sticking to the same foods and just drinking water for the next few days, just to ensure a fair wear test.The first gloss that we're gonna try out is our $5 option. This is the NYX Butter Gloss. I have been using this lip gloss since I was in high school. To this day, people still really, really love it, so I'm excited to see how it's gonna compare to the other high-end lip glosses. I feel like usually a problem I have with lip gloss is that I can kind of feel it on my mouth, which I don't love. This, it's like I'm wearing a lip balm. It is so light and barely there. I'm obsessed.The NYX Butter Gloss actually survived most of the day. I feel like maybe around the seven-hour mark was when I started to notice the wear and tear on my lips. It's definitely dried down quite a bit, but I can still see some of that, like, sheen and shine from when I first applied it. It's definitely not the same, but it's, like, still pretty cute. Like, I feel like my lips look hydrated. It stayed comfortable all day long, and I think I'm really happy with how this one lasted. I'm pretty impressed. Five bucks? This is not bad at all. If anything, this is probably one of the better lip-gloss formulas I think I've ever tried.Moving on to our next lip gloss, this is the <keyword id="3034509" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Fenty-Beauty">Fenty Beauty</keyword> Gloss Bomb. I feel like this was the lip gloss that kind of took everybody out of, like, the matte-lipstick era that we were all living in. It was this lip gloss. It's just really universally flattering. Like, I really believe that. And it's got all these little glitters in it that make it look so shiny and pretty on the lips. Before I put it on, I have to talk about how freaking good this lip gloss smells. It smells like... I think the actual scent is vanilla mango. This lip gloss looks amazing, just like I was expecting it to. I've repurchased this at least five times already just because it is so flattering. The only thing is, I am getting a little bit of these, like, goopy lines when I smack my lips together like this. It's very, very slight. I think it just has to do with this being a thicker formula than the lip gloss that I tried yesterday, but it doesn't feel sticky at all.I'm not mad at how the Gloss Bomb wore throughout the day. I've used this lip gloss before, so I pretty much knew how this was gonna go down. It isn't the most long-lasting lip gloss. I feel like you do need to reapply at least once or twice if you're planning on wearing it all day long. Um... but is it a great, amazing, beautiful, gorgeous, delicious-smelling lip gloss? H--- yeah. And I think that I will still continue to buy them.The next lip gloss that I'm gonna be trying out is the <keyword id="2671066" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Pat-McGrath">Pat McGrath</keyword> Lust lip gloss. If you follow Pat McGrath on Instagram, you will see what I mean. The way that they do these application videos on these models, they just look incredible. Like, the lip gloss just looks out of this world. So shiny, so plumping and beautiful. It's not that goopy. It's actually probably the least goopy out of the two that we've tried. [lip-gloss tube smacking] I love this noise. It's ASMR time. [whispers] With Nico. Oh, God, I could apply this lip gloss all freaking day long. It's so smooth. OK, a little more, and then I'll stop myself. [laughs] It's so shiny. I keep looking at my lips in the monitor. Look at that! Oh, my God! What else is there to say about this lip gloss? Like, it just looks amazing. That's it. It looks great. It is so shiny and delicious-looking on the lips. I love this formula. It's so, so nice. And the smell is really, really nice. Like, I keep sniffing my own mouth.I think that the Pat McGrath gloss has actually faded pretty nicely on me. It's almost all gone. I still feel like there's barely any gloss on my lips. You can still see, like, a little bit of shine, but I feel like that has a lot to do with the shimmer in the actual gloss. I do think that it keeps my lips very hydrated. Like, they still feel really soft and glossy. Not glossy. They feel really soft and like they have a slip to them.This is the Christian Louboutin loo-bih-lack... Loubilaque [laughs] lip gloss, and this is $85. I needed to include this lip gloss in this test not only because it is the most expensive lip gloss I could find, but it also has pretty positive reviews on Sephora's website. It's got four out of five stars right now. Mind you, that's, like, out of 13 or so reviews, which is not a lot by any means, but that's still, like, something. It's pretty positive. Sephora only sold two shades of this lip gloss, and both were chock-full of glitter. Like, there is so much glitter in these lip glosses, and it makes me really nervous because usually that means that it's gonna dry my lips out a lot as the day goes on. Oh. It smells... like baby wipes. Like straight-up baby wipes. That is the weirdest scent for a lip gloss I have ever smelled. Ah, wow. [laughs] Oh, no. Oh. It's like that really, really grainy type of glitter. I hate that. I hate that! You know when you have a glittery lip gloss and you rub your lips together and you can, like, feel every particle of glitter like sand? I hate that. This is too expensive to be doing that, miss. Don't hate how it looks on the lips. It's not bad. It just feels horrible and smells, like, horrible.This gloss has been one of, like, the least impressive lip glosses I think I've ever tried. Is that mean? Should I start it off on, like, a more positive note? Um... this Christian Louboutin gloss is super glittery, and it left behind a ton of glitter on my lips, but it didn't dry my lips out like I thought it was gonna. Thank God the scent faded. It didn't get rid of the memories, though. Like, the memories are still fresh in my mind. I can smell the baby wipes every time I look at this tube. It looked really pretty, but that kind of faded pretty fast. I was kind of hoping that I'd have a better experience with it considering the reviews, but it just wasn't for me. So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, where we can talk about all the lip glosses that I tried. Like, at $85, I expect you to be good. Like, I just don't think there's any excuse. By far the best lip gloss I think I tried out this week has to be the $5 NYX Butter Gloss. This one wasn't sticky, it was super shiny, and it lasted me longer than any of the other lip glosses that I tried out this week. And it has, like, a million color options, I think, if you're looking for that. So, I don't know, I feel like this is definitely the way to go if you want a gloss that'll last you most of your day.
