Higher technical qualifications like bachelor of technology (B.Tech)/bachelor of engineering (B.E.) without the essential qualification i.e., full time regular diploma is not eligible/ allowed. </li><li>For Junior Electrical Engineer — Full time regular diploma in electrical engineering from recognised institutes/colleges with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E.without the essential qualification i.e., full time regular diploma is not eligible/ allowed. </li><li>For Junior Mechanical Engineer — Full time regular diploma in mechanical engineering from recognised institutes/colleges with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E.without the essential qualification i.e., full time regular diploma is not eligible/ allowed. </li><li>Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the opportunity. </li><li>The candidate should have acquired the qualifying educational qualification on or before February 1 to be eligible for applying. </li></ol>Selection procedure — Candidates will have to sit for an online computer based online test of 200 marks, which will be a multiple choice. The computer based online test will be held in 22 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Panji, Ranchi, Raipur and Shimla. Candidates belonging to general, economically weaker section (EWS) and other backward class (OBC) category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹295 (including 18% goods and services (GST) tax) through online mode. Scheduled castes (SC)/scheduled tribe (ST)/person with benchmark disability (PwBD)/ex-serviceman category candidates are exempted to pay any application fee.
