The plea, moved by advocate Amit Acharya, urged the <keyword id="6355392" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="High-Court">High Court</keyword> to issue direction to the Centre to pass necessary instruction to Twitter India and Twitter to appoint resident grievance officer under Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Ethics Code) Rules 2021 without any delay. The High Court issued notice to the Centre and Twitter, seeking their stand on the plea. It is the collective responsibility of elected officials, industry, and civil society to safeguard the interests of the public," the spokesperson said. Twitter says it will comply with new IT rules after Delhi High Court issues notice

May 31, China on Monday announced plans to send three male astronauts to its space station next month for a three-month stay, a day after the successful docking of a <keyword id="4170273" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="cargo-spacecraft">cargo spacecraft</keyword> with it, hoping to achieve yet another milestone in its ambitious space programme. The country launched cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-2 on Saturday, carrying supplies, equipment and propellant which had successfully docked with the space station core module Tianhe, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA). Combined with Tianhe, Tianzhou-2 will replenish Tianhe's propellant, it said. China, which launched its space station core module Tianhe on April 29, now plans to complete the verification of key technologies and the in-orbit construction of the space station through multiple launches within two years, state-run Xinhua news agency reported. Yang Liwei, director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office and the country's first <keyword id="34120" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="astronaut">astronaut</keyword>, said that the three astronauts are getting ready to travel by manned spacecraft Shenzhou-12 in June to dock with Tianhe and stay there for three months. Yang, who went into space in the Shenzhou-5 craft on October 15, 2003, told the state-run China Central Television (<keyword id="6354857" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="CCTV">CCTV</keyword>) during the weekend that the three astronauts of the Shenzhou-12 mission will stay in space for three months, during which they will conduct tasks, including repair and maintenance, appliance switch and scientific tasks. The three astronauts, who will take the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft to the space station core cabin in June, are now under Level-2 quarantine, with all related work having entered a final sprint stage, according to a report by the state-run <keyword id="107898" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Global-Times">Global Times</keyword>. Although there will not be any female astronauts in the upcoming Shenzhou-12 crewed mission, they will basically participate in every following flight mission, Yang said. The three astronauts will take on command and engineering roles, he said. With the successful launch of the Tianzhou-2 cargo ship, China has completed its first two launch missions out of the total 11 of the intensive space station construction phase, scheduled from April 29, 2021 to 2022. Three will be for modules, four for cargo spaceships and four for manned spaceships, the report said. Four flight crews have been selected from the first and second batch of astronauts for the four Shenzhou missions. Astronauts will conduct multiple tasks outside the cabin, carrying out repair and maintenance on the spacecraft, and other construction missions, Yang said. "Astronauts coming out of the cabin will become a new routine, and the duration of such activities will be greatly expanded," he said. China's space station has also been equipped with the robotic arm over which the US has raised concerns for its possible military applications. The arm can be stretched to 15 meters long, which will also play a vital role in building the space station in orbit, Zhou Jianping, chief designer of China's manned space engineering project, said previously. Astronauts will team up with the robotic arm to make in-orbit space station construction and maintenance possible, Yang noted. China in the past has launched several scavenger satellites fitted with robotic arms to gather and steer space debris so it burns up in the Earth's atmosphere. China to send three astronauts for a three-month stay in its new space station

Both of these decisions were made in June 2018, prior to the commencement of the ICC World Test Championship," said a statement from ICC. The ICC added that the reserve day has been kept only in the event of lost time and not to get a result. A bench comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi and Jasmeet Singh said, "We direct that if any import is made by any person of this drug (Amphotericin B), it shall be allowed on a bond furnished by the importer without the actual duty being paid, till a decision is taken by the Centre." The bench observed that the medicine is essential to save lives of several thousands of people suffering from mucormycosis. In the backdrop of shortage of the medicine in the country, the <keyword id="6355392" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="High-Court">High Court</keyword> emphasised that the Centre should seriously consider waiving customs duty for a limited period or till issues with shortage of medicine exists. On the aspect of the bond for importing the medicine, the High Court said any person can import Amphotericin B and if any import is made by any person, it should be cleared by accepting the bond from the importer without actual payment of duty till the Centre takes a final decision in the matter. <keyword id="6354616" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Twitter">Twitter</keyword> on Thursday announced its live audio conversation app Spaces is now available from <keyword id="154909" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Desktop">desktop</keyword> and <keyword id="481402" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mobile-Web-browsers">mobile web browsers</keyword>. Previously, the Clubhouse-like audio meet app, Spaces was only available via iOS and Android apps. "Spaces are making their way to Twitter for web! Now you can join a Space to listen in, test out the new transcription design, and set reminders to join a scheduled Space," The micro-blogging platform said in a tweet. Spaces will be available on https://Twitter.com (mobile web and desktop web). The focus areas will be infrastructure and listening UI that adapts to screen size, setting reminders for scheduled spaces and accessibility and transcriptions, the company said. Taking on invite-only audio chat app <keyword id="1293839" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="clubhouse">Clubhouse</keyword>, Twitter earlier this month announced to make Spaces available to users with 600 followers or more on both iOS and Android platforms. The company said it is also working on '<keyword id="11197907" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="ticketed-spaces">Ticketed Spaces</keyword>' feature for <keyword id="47541" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="hosts">hosts</keyword> to be rewarded for the experiences they create by getting monetary support, while providing listeners with exclusive access to the conversations they care about most. Hosts can set ticket prices and how many are available to sell. A limited group will be able to host Ticketed Spaces in the coming months. Hosts earn the majority of the revenue from ticket sales and Twitter will keep a small amount as well. To make it easy to track what's happening and when, you'll also be able to schedule and set reminders for upcoming Spaces in the coming weeks. After first testing Spaces with a small group of people on iOS, Twitter in March expanded the test to Android users in <keyword id="3658" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="India">India</keyword>, to give them a chance to join, listen, and speak in live, host-moderated audio conversations. Twitter’s Clubhouse-competitor Spaces now available on desktop and mobile browsers

The prestigious Joint Entrance <keyword id="49591" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="examination">Examination</keyword> (<keyword id="6392660" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE">JEE</keyword>) Advanced 2021 test has been postponed in view of the coronavirus situation in the country. Since the <keyword id="9859756" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE-Mains-Examination">JEE Mains examination</keyword> could not be held at the scheduled time (May 24-28), so the <keyword id="1126172" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE-Advanced">JEE Advanced</keyword> examination, which was going to be held on July 3, has also been postponed, the <keyword id="55119" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-Institute-of-Technology">Indian Institute of Technology</keyword>, <keyword id="6357441" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="kharagpur">Kharagpur</keyword> announced. The Union <keyword id="181369" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Education-ministry">Education Ministry</keyword> had decided to conduct the JEE Mains examination four times in the current year. Candidates can appear in all four examinations of which their best test scores will be considered for appearing for the JEE Advanced exam. However, only two of the four sessions of JEE Mains examination have been conducted till now. <keyword id="581232" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Testing-Agency">National Testing Agency</keyword>'s Senior Examination Director, Sadhana Parashar, said the first session of the JEE Mains examination was held in February this year and more than 6,20,000 students appeared. The second session was held in March with more than 5,56,000 students appearing. The third session of the JEE Mains examination was scheduled to be held from April 27 to 30, but had to be postponed in view of the second wave of pandemic. In the sane way, the fourth session to be held on May 24-28 was also postponed. According to the Education Ministry, students will be informed 15 days in advance before the test is conducted. The results of the JEE Main Exam Session 2 which were held in March have been already declared. These exams were conducted in 12 foreign cities and 334 Indian cities. Due to the second wave of Covid-19, the Union Education Ministry had decided to postpone all offline examinations scheduled in the month of May. This decision will be applicable to all central higher educational institutions across the country. Such higher educational institutions, which receive financial aid from the government, will also have to postpone these too.
