New investor registrations witnessed a 2.5 times growth in four months of FY22, compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. "From the geographical presence point of view, 36 per cent new investors registered are from north Indian states, While west Indian states accounts for 30 per cent, southern Indian states accounts for 22 per cent and the remaining 12 per cent are from the east Indian states," the NSE said in a note. "Another interesting trend is that, 53 per cent of new investors registered are from states beyond top 5 ranked states." The NSE's overall registered investor base has now crossed 4.5 crore. New investor registrations on NSE grew 2.5 times to cross 50 lakh mark

Mumbai, Retail broking house <keyword id="103837" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Angel-Broking">Angel Broking</keyword> Limited will open its initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares on September 22, 2020. The offer will close on September 24, 2020. The price band of the offer has been fixed at Rs 305 to Rs 306 per equity share. The company plans to raise Rs 600 crore through the offering of equity shares. "The initial public offering consists of the equity shares of the company aggregating up to Rs 6,000 million (600 crore) comprises of a fresh issue company aggregating up to Rs 3,000 (300 crore) and an offer for sale aggregating up to Rs 3,000 million (300 crore)," a company statement said. The offer for sale would consist of Rs 18.33 crore and up to Rs 4.5 crore worth of shares by the promoters Ashok D. Thakkar and Sunita A. Magnani, and up to Rs 120 crore worth of shares by the investor IFC and up to Rs 157.16 crore of shares by the individual shareholders respectively. Bids can be made for a minimum of 49 Equity Shares and in multiples of 49 Equity Shares thereafter. The Equity Shares offered in the offer are proposed to be listed at both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. For the purpose of the offer, NSE is the designated stock exchange, the statement added. New Delhi, Mar 21 () Cement maker Dalmia Bharat Ltd on Saturday said its board has approved a proposal to buy back shares worth up to Rs 500 crore.The company further said it intends to buy not more than 71,42,857 shares at a maximum price of Rs 700 per unit.The shares will be bought back from the open market by using the electronic trading facilities of National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited, the company said in a statement."The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on March 21, 2020, has approved buyback of the company's fully paid-up equity shares having a face value of Rs 2 each for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 500,00,00,000 excluding buyback tax, brokerage, costs, fees, turnover charges, taxes such as securities transaction tax, goods and services tax (if any) and income tax, stamp duty, advisors fees, filing fees and other incidental," it said.Dalmia Bharat Ltd currently has a cement manufacturing capacity of 26.5 million tonne per annum. The company's 12 cement manufacturing units are spread across nine states. But, this is only one of the many offers that the company is currently considering. Vodafone Idea is in talks with several other investors. The company has been reporting losses for nine consecutive quarters. And, since the merger of 2017, Vodafone Idea is yet to come up green in its annual reports. Vodafone Idea is the weakest of three telecom giants in India, the other two being Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. And its survival is the only thing that’s standing in the way of the Indian telecom market turning into a duopoly.
