These include various temples in Reliance facilities such as in Mumbai, Jamnagar, Dahej, Nagothane, Hazira, Silvassa, Halol, Hoshiarpur, Nagpur, Shahdol, Kakinada and various other locations.<br /><br />Reliance Industries has declared a holiday to enable the lakhs of Reliance family to celebrate and join the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.<br /><br />In Ayodhya, Jio has set up additional towers for enhanced and seamless network, Multiple Cells on Wheels (CoWs) placed across key locations for ubiquitous connectivity, charging stations set up across key paths to help visitors charge their devices constantly. (Some of these charging stations will be permanent installations in Ayodhya), support for setting up 'May I Help You' desks at important locations.<br /><br />In collaboration with Doordarshan, Live Telecast and real-time updates of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony will available on JioTV, JioTV+ and JioNews.<br /><br />JioTV will provide customers with comprehensive details about the ceremony, including rituals, traditions, and cultural significance. This exclusive content will deepen the audience's understanding and appreciation of this auspicious occasion.<br /><br />JioTV and JioNews will feature expert comments and analysis, offering viewers unique insights into the cultural and historical significance of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratisthan.<br /><br />Ayodhya is set to go down in history with the much-awaited Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple on Monday.<br /><br />The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in the newly built Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will be held at around noon. Earlier in October, 2023. The ceremonial journey leading up to the Pran Pratishtha included a seven-day ritual that commenced on January 16, 2024.<br /><br />Earlier, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla, carved by renowned Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.<br /><br />The ceremony will be attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects of the country. People from all walks of life including representatives of various tribal communities will also attend the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address this gathering on the occasion.<br /><br />The Prime Minister will interact with workers associated with the construction of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. Prime Minister will also visit the Kuber Tila, where the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored. He will also perform Pooja and Darshan at this restored temple. <br /><br />The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum at ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed. <br />

Ambani family to be in Ayodhya for Pran Pratishtha ceremony

New Delhi, India's largest gas firm GAIL is imitating billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd in planning to import ethane from the US to replace natural gas and naphtha as feedstock at its petrochemical plants.  "In a bid towards diversification of the feedstock, GAIL is looking to import ethane from ethane-surplus countries with matured export terminal infrastructure through water borne transportation to India and transport it further through GAIL's pipeline systems to demand centres," the company said in a tender document. <br /><br /> It sought quotes to hire a very large ethane carrier (VLEC) for 20 years starting mid-2026 for importing ethane from the US. The ship with capacity of 80,000 to 99,000 cubic metres is targeted to take deliveries from US ports of Marcus Hook, Nederland, Morgan's Point or Beaumont and deliver ethane at Dahej or Hazira in Gujarat or Dabhol in Maharashtra. <br /><br /> GAIL has a petrochemical plant at Pata, near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, and is also looking to set up another unit at Usar in Maharashtra. The company had to cut down on run rate at Pata after the government diverted gas supplies from the plant to city gas suppliers. This led to its profitability being impacted and so now the company is looking to supplement the feedstock with ethane. <br /><br /> Reliance had in 2014 announced ethane plans in 2014 and started importing the feedstock from the US in 2017. It is importing 1.6 million tonnes per annum of ethane and is using six VLECs for transporting it to India. <br /><br /> With ethane replacing propane and naphtha used in ethylene production, Reliance is estimated to have saved about USD 450 million annually. <br /><br /> Reliance used 2.5 million tonnes a year of naphtha as feedstock in petrochemical crackers and ethane reduced its use by 5,00,000 tonnes, which now could be exported. <br /><br /> Ethane is expected to be produced in large volumes in North America due to the shale gas revolution, which has generated an abundance of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It is primarily used as petrochemical feedstock to produce ethylene by steam cracking. <br /><br /> Ethylene is the starting material for making a wide range of products -- from packaging films, wire coatings, and squeeze bottles as well as plastics and synthetic rubber. <br /><br /> Reliance uses ethane at its crackers in Dahej and Hazira in Gujarat and Nagothane in Maharashtra. <br /><br /> GAIL in the tender said it is looking at co-transportation of ethane and LNG through the same vessel loaded in separate compartments. <br /><br /> "Bidders may indicate whether the vessel offered for time-charter is compatible for part loading of ethane and LNG. In case of co-transportation the primary and secondary fuel options may necessarily be indicated," GAIL said. <br /><br /> GAIL said the 20 year charter hire agreement can be extended by a further 5 years. <br /><br /> Last date for submission of an expression of interest (EoI) for offering VLECs is February 25.

GAIL takes the 'Reliance route' with its US ethane plans

Get placed in a housing project? Sign up for a housing lottery? How about a hotel?</p><p>Rhea Silva is the 24-year-old founder of <a href="http://www.chototel.co.uk/">Chototel</a>, a chain of super-budget hotels where the price per night can range from $2 at the cheapest to a surge price of $5 at its most expensive.</p><p>Her company is piloting four hotel buildings in Nagothane, a small Indian town about 72 miles outside of Mumbai. The first is opening next month, while the other three are coming in the following four months. "They want to be able to stay in a place that's not a three-bedroom mansion, but rather just their own little studio apartment where they have privacy."</p><p>You can already see traces of this downsized domesticity <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/boxouse-bay-area-tiny-homes-2016-6/">in the tiny home trend</a>, which are shifting more and more to uniform and quickly buildable designs while still making efficient use of space.</p><p>The big difference is that the audience Chototel is appealing to isn't well-heeled tenants looking to downsize - it's people who won't necessarily be able to afford rent on a monthly basis, but can likely pay it little by little.</p><p>"People like to stay in places where they're not spending 50% to 60% of their income on housing," she said. "<a href="http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2015/07/28/u-s-homeownership-rate-hits-48-year-low/">Homeownership has dropped to its lowest rate since 1965</a>. And that's because people, aren't possessive about the idea of owning a house anymore. They're more into the idea of convenience." </p><p>Of course, nightly rent isn't the only way the hotel will make returns. There are also utilities, which are all metered and charged by usage. So, theoretically, you could stay a night without turning on a light or using water or heat and pay around $2 for the benefit of having a clean room with a bed and free Wi-Fi. But if you need those utilities, there are tools that can help you save on usage and costs. </p><p>Silva says that the rooms are outfitted with microbots, which take in several data points to report back to the hotel and the tenant. That way, there's a transparent two-way exchange of information about the tenant's consumption and habits.</p><p>The tenants can also monitor their consumption through a smartphone app, which, like with a smart home system, also allows them to turn off a utility remotely.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Courtesy Chototel</span></p><p class="caption">The first of the Nagothane hotels will open next month, and the rest will follow in three to four months.</p></div><p></p></div></div>And what if you don't have a phone? Is there any way to track your usage then? While you might think the sort of person who can't afford rent can't afford a smartphone, Silva thinks differently.</p><p>"Smartphones today are very, very cheap and very affordable and a lot of people use their smartphone as a means for communication," she said.</p><p>Indeed, India is the world's <a href="http://qz.com/608005/india-has-overtaken-the-us-to-become-the-worlds-second-largest-smartphone-market/">second-largest market for smartphones</a>, and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/smartphone-prices-drop-as-accessories-rise-2016-2">they're still getting cheaper</a>. So it's likely many of Chototel's tenants will at least have a device that's able to run the app. </p><p>The amount of fine tuning and flexible scheduling Chototel allows for puts it squarely between a budget hotel and affordable housing. Silva avoids the latter term because she says she wants people to feel the privilege and comfort of saying they're staying in a hotel rather than call it a project.</p><p>And while the first few pilot hotels are being funded through the company's own equity, Chototel is planning on raising finances in the public market in the next month to fund the next few expansions.</p><p>The pilot will kick off with these four hotels, but Silva says that if they prove sustainable, her company will raise funds to scale up, massively. She says that her next location in Mumbai, if Nagothane proves useful, could house up to 10,000 occupants.</p><p>And that flexible model, which isn't as easily replicable in public housing, is winning some public support from local municipalities, too - enough that the company is planning on several expansions within the next few years.
