Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested Rakesh Kumar Mishra (30) from Darbhanga in Bihar for allegedly making calls to Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital here in the last two days, threatening to blow up the hospital and kill Ambani, his wife Nita and sons Akash and Anant. The caller had also threatened to blow up Antilia, the famous south Mumbai residence of the Ambani family on Altamount Road in South Mumbai . According of the city police, this is the second instance of Ambani family getting threats on the hospital landline number. On August 15 this year, the hospital had received at least nine calls threatening the Reliance Industries chairman and his family members, said an official. <keyword id="15181308" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="bishnu-vidu-bhoumik" source="Orion">Bishnu Vidu Bhoumik</keyword> (56) was arrested in connection with the calls. In November 2021, Mumbai Police increased the security outside Antilia following a tip given by a taxi driver about a possible threat, but investigation found there was no such threat. But an incident involving threat to the Ambani family earlier that year made national headlines and shook the state government. On February 25, 2021, an explosive-laden SUV was found parked on Carmichael Road in South Mumbai, near the Ambani residence. Police recovered a printed threat note inside along with gelatin sticks. The note this was only a "trailer" and there would be assembled explosives next time instead of just loose sticks. <keyword id="10875173" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="mansukh-hiran" source="Orion">Mansukh Hiran</keyword>, a Thane-based businessman, told police the SUV had been stolen from his possession. New Delhi, Mar 27 () In a shareholding rejig at Reliance Industries, Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, Nita Mukesh Ambani, Isha M Ambani, Akash M Ambani and Anant Mukesh Ambani along with one of the firm's promoters bought shares worth over Rs 9,145 through open market transactions on Friday. As per the block deal data on the BSE, Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani picked up 2,68,308 shares, Nita Mukesh Ambani 7,03,708 shares, Isha M Ambani 7,71,220 shares and Akash M Ambani 7,73,620 shares of the firm at an average price of Rs 1,077 apiece, while Anant Mukesh Ambani bought 73,00,000 shares at a price of Rs 1,056 per scrip. Besides, Reliance Industries Ltd's (RIL) promoter, Tattvam Enterprises LLP, purchased 7,67,35,388 shares at Rs 1,056 apiece. The total deal value for the shares purchased by the promoters of RIL stood at Rs 91,45,20,23,640. According to separate transactions, another promoter of the company, Devarshi Commercials LLP, offloaded a total of 8,65,52,244 shares for over Rs 9,145 crore. The shareholding data for December 2019 shows that Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani held 0.12 per cent stake in the firm, Nita Mukesh Ambani, Isha M Ambani and Akash M Ambani held 0.11 per cent stake each while Anant Mukesh Ambani held 2 lakh shares of the firm. According to research firm CGSCIMB, margins from petrochemicals have dropped sharply since April 2019 and the decline has been sharpest in paraxylene, which has flowed through across the polyester chain. That would mean the decline in profit would be pronounced in Reliance mainstay business, the report added.  The fear of slump in one of the important business segment has weighed on Reliance's share price in recent months.  While Jio may be the rising star in Reliance Industries portfolio spanning from oil and gas exploration to petrochemicals to retail, the telecom venture brings its share of anxiety to the investor's mind-- debt. The company's total debt has increased over 58% in the last two years largely due to the investments made in Jio as well as the cash burnt in winning over the millions of customers. "RIL reported that its consolidated effective net debt reduced by ₹990 billion at end-FY19 due to a demerger of its telecom assets to an special purpose vehicle (SPV).
