Asked whether he feels Hindi movies are being unfairly treated in recent times, Kapoor said, "I will give the example of my own film. I will not talk about other films. Few weeks ago, my film 'Shamshera' was released. I didn't feel any negativity." "The film didn't run at box office, it is probably because the audience didn't like the film. Eventually it is about the content," he added. In recent times, mainstream Hindi movies like Ranveer Singh's "Jayeshbhai Jordaar", Akshay Kumar's "Bachchhan Paandey", "Samrat Prithviraj" and "Raksha Bandhan", along with Aamir Khan-starrer "Laal Singh Chaddha", failed to register big numbers at the box office. Kapoor said no one, including his father, late cinema icon Rishi Kapoor, understood what it takes to make a film like "Brahmastra", which has been mounted on a huge budget and is loaded with visual effects. "It's been so long... No one really understood what it takes to make a film like this because no one has really done this, especially people we know. "The film has been going on for so many years. I remember when my father was alive, I used to lie that I was shooting 'Brahmastra'. I used to hide it and say I'm shooting for some other movie," the 39-year-old actor said. He also credited Mukerji, the director of his two blockbusters "Wake Up Sid" (2008) and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (2013), for his growth as an actor. "I have known Ayan since 2008 when he narrated 'Wake Up Sid' to me. I didn't know him before that. He is someone who just came and narrated his entire story. He was sitting on the floor and he was narrating the film for me, saying it would take just 1 hour but it took 5 hours to narrate that film. "I really felt that energy from a young filmmaker and I was like, 'Wow, this guy really has a story to tell.' He is passionate about every word, every character and I could feel that energy. I think art is about energy. You have to feel the energy within other people." Kapoor said he is aware that he will not get another opportunity to do a movie like "Brahmastra" again. "It's not like that after 'Brahmastra', I will do only these kinds of films. I know I won't get an opportunity like this again. I hope going forward I get other opportunities to showcase other different characters that I can portray," he added. 'Brahmastra', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', 'Darlings' lead in IIFA nominations

Actor <keyword id="6357861" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="ranbir-kapoor">Ranbir Kapoor</keyword> has tested positive for <keyword id="8763838" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="covid-19">Covid-19</keyword>. He is on medication and living in quarantine at home. Ranbir's mother <keyword id="3608" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Neetu-Kapoor">Neetu Kapoor</keyword> took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her son's health update. Sharing a photo of Ranbir, Neetu wrote: "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions." Commenting on Neetu's post, fans and followers shared their wishes for Ranbir's speedy recovery. Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with her ailing brother. Neetu Kapoor had contracted the coronavirus in December last year while shooting for the upcoming film "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" in Chandigarh. On the work front, Ranbir has lately been busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji's action fantasy film "Brahmastra" alongside rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. However, it is being speculated that shoot will be temporarily stalled with the lead actor contracting Covid-19. Ranbir's next release is "Shamshera" on June 25. The Karan Malhotra film is an action drama co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, and is produced by Yash Raj Films. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

This is the view held by five brokerage firms — ICICI Securities/Direct, Motilal Oswal, Prabhudas Lilladher and ShareKhan. They believe that good movies can help them replicate the March success which came with superhits like the controversial Kashmir Files; Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, followed up by KGF 2 in April. “They witnessed a March — which was the best ever in the history, led by superlative performances of movies,” ICICI Direct said in its views on PVR and INOX both. The March footfalls made up for half of the Jan-March quarters footfalls in theaters. But both these companies need more than a good month to turn things around. A strong recovery in footfalls and sales of these listed theatre companies will be driven by ‘strong content slate lines’, as per ICICI Direct. If all goes well, it estimates that both these companies can cross their pre-covid earnings in the current financial year. These companies are in desperate need of a ‘recovery worthy’ movie releases. A lot of high profile releases also fell flat in the months ahead of March. There was a big buzz around Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone-starrer 83 — which was based on the 1983 cricket world cup that India won. However, it disappointed movie distributors as it was declared a theatrical flop. Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar too did not live up to its expectations. Kangana Ranaut’s Dhakkad, Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey, Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam too failed to impress the audiences. Apart from 83, all the other movies were released after India had overcome the third Covid-19 wave. Pushpa and Spider Man in the Hindi belt — both released in December along with 83 — were among the few movies that managed to do well despite Omicron fears. The world knows <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=sunny+leone&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Sunny Leone</a> as a former adult entertainer, a recent <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=sunny+leone&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Bollywood</a> import and the recipient of the ‘most searched star on the internet in India’ for four years in a row, but that’s not how the 35-year-old wants to be remembered. 
 
Having launched her recent perfume line ‘Lust,’ in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=dubai&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Dubai</a> barely a week back, the actress is keen to establish herself as an entrepreneur, as well. 
 
Her aim is to create a brand by tapping into various categories. 
 
At the moment, Leone’s recent line of investments includes a franchise for a box league cricket, web-based short stories, and an online game apart from fragrances. She is also keen to enter categories such as shoes, accessories, jewellery and apparels with her own line of products. 
Apart from focusing on Bollywood, the actress who was always interested in business from a young age is keen to expand her brand profile in India.

In fact, the star remembers how as a child she would put up lemonade stands during summers and shovelled snow in the winters to earn money. 
 
Her official foray into the big bad world of business started with her understanding of adult content as a business industry. But, she wanted more. “I wanted to own a website and run my company and build my brand” she said in an interview and what followed was her handling everything. 
 
In order to manage her website, she learnt HTML, video-editing, photography among others and in the process of doing everything from start to finish, Leone also learnt the harsh reality of website traffic. 
 
“In a digital world, traffic is the best thing you can have. So I learnt where to send this traffic and how to capitalise all of it,” she added. 
 
Over the years, that also included her move to India from Canada, Leone has started believing in slow and steady businesses. By her own admission, she doesn’t believe in fast-paced businesses. 
 
It was only after she decided to participate in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=bigg+boss&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Big Boss</a> did she realise the enormity of the reach her brand had in the Indian market, which ultimately led to her deciding to move to the country with her husband.

1. Lust perfume line

Inspired by the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=kardashians&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Kardashian</a> model, Leone’s perfume line is aimed at the mass market. For the same reason, the price has been kept highly competitive to attract the consuming class. 
 
While the Lust Deo is priced at Rs 249, the Eau De Toilet comes at Rs 999. 
 
The perfume line has been designed by the actress herself, and includes, women perfumes and men and women deos. 
 
The distribution of the products has already begun, both in the online and offline categories. 
 
 
2. Box-league cricket team Chennai Swaggers

In February, the actress also unveiled her celebrity box league cricket team Chennai Swaggers, as part of a reality show cricket tournament backed by Balaji’s <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ekta+kapoor&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Ekta Kapoor </a>and featuring well known television stars as players. 
 
Justifying her decision of buying a cricket team, Leone said that though she loved several games, she fell in love with cricket after coming to India. 
 
Chennai Swaggers features a handful of known names from the Television industry that includes Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mouni Roy, Sangram Singh and Ritwick Dhanjani among others. 
 
 
3. <keyword id="465663" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sweet-Dreams">Sweet Dreams</keyword>

This year also saw Leone taking to the pen and churning out original mobile-first collection of erotic short stories under the title Sweet Dreamsin association with Chiki Sarkar’s publishing house, Juggernaut. 
 
Released in April this year, one had to sign in one the Juggernaut app on their mobile phones to buy Sweet Dreams. After purchasing the title, all one had to do is sit back, as one short story would be delivered to their phone daily at 10 pm. 
 
Reportedly, Leone finished writing the 12 erotic short stories in a span of three months.

Sunny Leone also has an online game called Teen Patti to her credit, which was launched in December, last year, in partnership with Gamiana, a game development company. 
 
The game combines two of India's popular hobbies -- Teen Patti and Bollywood. The game allows the players to play different variation of Teen Patti, create private tables for their own unique play sessions gatherings, as well as chat and trade unique gifts with other players. Players can also earn Sunny Leone digital collectibles as they level up.
