Motorola is all set to launch its next foldable smartphone, which is likely to be called Moto Razr 5G or Moto Razr 2020 on September 9.<br /><br />A new report suggests that the device is likely to have a 2,633mAh battery with 18W fast charging.<br /><br />According to GizmoChina, the upcoming foldable smartphone has appeared in the database of the TUV Rheinland certification platform.<br /><br />The listing claims that Razr 5G will come with two inter-connected batteries with model number LS30 and LS40.<br /><br />The smaller LS30 battery has a rated capacity of 1180mAh and a typical capacity of 1255mAh.<br /><br />On the other hand, the bigger LS40 battery has a rated capacity of 1453mAh -- the total battery capacity comes to 2633mAh.<br /><br />The TUV listings also revealed the support for 18W fast charging on the device.<br /><br />The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765 processor bundled with 8GB Ram and 256GB internal storage.<br /><br />The camera department could receive an upgrade by adopting Samsung's 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. Nine months since the launch of the first Razr foldable, the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker <keyword id="11148" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Motorola">Motorola</keyword> has introduced a new <keyword id="9914259" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="razr-5g-foldable-phone">Razr 5G foldable phone</keyword> for the global market.<br /><br />According to GSMArena. the device will be out sometime this fall in China and select European markets in polished graphite, liquid mercury and blush gold colour options.<br /><br />In the US it will be offered unlocked at Best Buy, B&amp;H, Amazon, and Motorola's online store for $1,399. Additionally, T-Mobile and AT&amp;T will sell it too.<br /><br />On the front of the Razr 5G is a 2.7-inch touchscreen QuickView display while the inside features a 6.2-inch "FlexView" OLED HD screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio.<br /><br />The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, a step up from the Snapdragon 710 in the last model. RAM and storage also see a bump with the device now packing 8GB RAM and 256GB of flash storage compared to a relatively modest 6GB RAM and 128GB storage of its predecessor.<br /><br />The device houses an upgraded 48MP sensor as the main camera. The camera module features OIS along with a ToF sensor for advanced laser autofocus. Motorola announces Razr 5G foldable phone with 2.7-inch external display

Chinese smartphone manufacturer <keyword id="874458" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Xiaomi">Xiaomi</keyword> has patented a foldable smartphone with quad-camera system that rotates forward for selfies and back for regular photos.<br /><br />The smartphone maker has filed the design patent for an inward bending phone in China and has also put 48 images to showcase the handset, reports GizmoChina.<br /><br />The patent images show a flexible screen with no notches or cutouts. The phone folds inwards, protecting the display. There are no signs of a secondary display and the chin rotating camera module is at the top, making the phone look like an upside-down Moto Razr.<br /><br />Earlier, the company also patented a new a dual-display smartphone with quad-rear camera setup.<br /><br />According to the patent, the primary display is like any other phone with ultra-slim bezels and earpiece up top.<br /><br />The secondary display on the new Xiaomi-patented phone is as small in size as the quad-camera housing on the back.

And accordingly, ad rates are typically higher on iOS. This makes the iOS platform more attractive to app developers, despite Android's larger install base, and helps drive a more vibrant ecosystem.</p><p>But times are changing.</p><p><a href="http://moovweb.com/blog/are-ios-users-still-more-valuable-than-android-users/">Research from mobile tech company Moovweb</a> has found that when it comes to e-commerce on iOS and Android, iPhone users are still slightly more valuable than Android users - but the gap is closing fast.</p><h3>Android is catching up on conversion rates - and amount spent per session</h3><p>For example: In Q1 of 2014 there was a 20% difference in "conversation rates" on mobile commerce sites between Android and iOS. </p><ul><li><strong><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Gap in conversion rates favouring iOS over Android:</span></strong></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Q1 2014: 20%</span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Q1 2015 5%</span></li></ul><p><span>A conversion rate is how likely a visitor to a site is "converted" into a sale - if 1 in 15 people visiting Amazon bought something, for example, that would be a 6% conversion rate. </span>This 20% difference means that "in Q1 2014 an iPhone user was 25% more likely to make a purchase than an Android phone user." And there was a similar gap in the amount spent per session - a 15% difference. This equates to an iPhone user spending an average of $1.18 for every dollar an Android user spent.</p><p>A year later, however, and that gap is rapidly shrinking.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>In Q1 of 2015, there was only a 5% difference in conversion rate, meaning an iPhone user "is only 6% more likely to buy."</p><p>And Android users are also spending more - comparative to iPhone users - than ever before. There is now only a 9% difference in revenue per session, meaning that an iPhone now user spends just $1.10 for every dollar spent by an Android user.</p><ul><li><strong style="line-height: 1.5em;">Gap in spend rates favouring iOS over Android:</strong></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Q1 2014: 15%</span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Q1 2015: 9%</span></li></ul><p>When it comes to certain kinds of devices, Moovweb found that some Android models had even <em>higher</em> conversion rates than the current-generation iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Those included the Moto X, the HTC One M8, and the Droid Razr.</p><h3>This isn't happening everywhere (but it <em>is</em> happening where it matters)</h3><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>Of course, this isn't a global trend. The data was drawn from "traffic to websites of North American retailers whose mobile websites we power," Moovweb employee Anis Salvesen clarified to Business Insider. Obviously, in emerging markets like China and India where low-end Android handsets are proliferating, there will be a wild disparity in conversation rate and amount spent per session. And as the next billion come online, the gap might grow <em style="line-height: 1.5em;">larger</em>, not shrink.</p><p>But it's still a surprising shift, and suggests Apple can no longer rely on its userbase's wealth in mature markets to give it the edge over Android.</p><p>And it's a shift that is also being repeated in other metrics. In a recent blog post, <a href="http://ben-evans.com/benedictevans/2015/6/13/the-lack-of-app-store-metrics">Andreessen Horowitz analyst Benedict Evans notes that</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> an average Android user spends half as much an average iPhone user does. It's a big difference, sure - but a year ago, Android users were only spending a </span><em style="line-height: 1.5em;">quarter</em> as much. Evans speculates that slowed growth of the Apple App Store revenue may indicate that people are spending less on average" - making it easier for Android users to catch up.</p><p>He also notes that Google Play is now twice as big as the App Store (50 billion downloads every 12 months for Google vs. 25 billion for Apple); and that App Store revenue seems to have stalled while Google Play revenue, although lower, is still growing.</p><h3>Apple is losing its ace in the hole</h3><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>The premium spending power of its userbase has always been iOS's trump card, negating Android's vastly larger number of installs.
