The platform’s home page has stopped working and is just showing a welcome page to users. As per the platform, reports about the outage started pouring in from around 10:44 AM. It’s not just the “For You” page that is down, other pages such as “Following” are not showing up. I tried to check my followers and following from the profile section, and even those lists were empty. The hashtag “TwitterDown” has also started trending on the platform but clicking on it takes you to an empty page and the tweets are not visible. While users are still able to post tweets, the tweets are not visible to anyone, including the user who posted the tweet. At this moment, there is no information about the reason for the outage and when the issue will be resolved.
