According to CBRE Research's Global Prime Office Occupancy Costs bi-annual survey, Delhi's <keyword id="90899" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Connaught-Place">Connaught Place</keyword> is now world’s seventh costliest office destination, slipping one notch. 
 
As per the property consultant CBRE, Mumbai's BandraKurla Complex (BKC) is at the 19th position and Nariman Point at 34th. 
 
"With annual occupancy cost of USD 149.71 per sq ft, New Delhi's Central Business District (CBD) of Connaught Place ranks as the seventh most expensive prime office market in the world," CBRE said in a statement. 
 
Hong Kong (Central) is the highest-priced office market with an overall prime occupancy costs of USD 290 per sq ft per annum, followed by London-Central (West End) with annual occupancy cost of USD 262.29. 
 
Beijing (Finance Street), Beijing (Central Business District) and Hong Kong (West Kowloon) are at third, fourth and fifth positions, respectively. 
 
Tokyo (Marunouchi/Otemachi), London-Central (City), New York (Midtown Manhattan) and Shanghai (Pudong) featured in the list of top 10 most expensive office markets globally. 
 
According to the survey, Asia continued to dominate the list of the world's most expensive office locations, accounting for seven of the top-10 markets. 
 
Global prime office occupancy costs, which reflect rent, plus local taxes and service charges for the highest-quality, prime office properties, rose 2.4 per cent year-on-year.

ECA International has released its annual Cost of Living report, revealing the <keyword id="182415" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="most-expensive">most expensive</keyword> cities in the world to live in. In order to produce the list, the business management consultancy compared the costs of a basket of day-to-day goods and services commonly purchased by expats in various countries, including groceries, household and recreational goods, leisure, clothing, meals out, as well as alcohol and tobacco, among other items. European cities dominated the top of the ranking, with almost a third of the top 100 cities being located in the continent. <keyword id="90899" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Connaught-Place">Connaught Place</keyword>, which is modelled after <keyword id="2908181" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Royal-Cresent">Royal Cresent</keyword> in Bath, is one of the largest financial, commercial and business centres in the national capital. And now as per CBRE Research's semi-annual <keyword id="2908182" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Global-Prime-Office-Occupancy-Costs-survey">Global Prime Office Occupancy Costs survey</keyword>, CP, as what the locals call it, has been ranked fifth most expensive prime office mark in the world with a rent of around $157 per sq ft per annum. 
 
While with an overall occupancy cost of $267 per sq ft per annum, the top spot was secured by London West End, Asia continued to rule on four of the top five markets. 
 According to the survey, <keyword id="6369995" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bandra-Kurla-Complex">Bandra-Kurla Complex</keyword> (BKC), a business district in North Mumbai, stands at the 15th position while the city's CBD of <keyword id="6391251" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Nariman-Point">Nariman Point</keyword> is at the 30th position. 
 
Anshuman Magazine, managing director of CBRE South Asia, told The Economic Times, "Although Delhi's Connaught Place moved up one spot in the rankings, due to the rupee depreciation; however, occupancy costs in this market remained largely stable due to a positive market sentiment.” 
 
He added, “Mumbai's BKC and Nariman Point showed a nominal decrease of less than 1 percent over a 12-month period; while y-o-y office occupancy costs rose by about 2.2 percent in the Bangalore CBD, broadly in line with global inflation."

As per the Mercer's 23rd annual Cost of Living Survey, Luanda, the capital of Angola, emerged as the <keyword id="2905848" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="costliest-city">costliest city</keyword>, followed by Hong Kong and Tokyo at the second and third places, respectively. The other seven cities in the list were Zurich, Singapore, Seoul, Geneva, Shanghai, New York City, and Bern. Speaking about India, Mumbai emerged as the most expensive city for expatriates in India. It ranked higher than Paris, Canberra, Seattle and Vienna. Meanwhile, New Delhi was placed at 99. Chennai (135), Bangalore (166) and Kolkata (184) were the other Indian cities on the list. Overall, Indian cities have moved up the global ranking substantially. Mumbai has moved 25 notches up from being at 82 in 2016 while New Delhi has improved to 99 in 2017 from 130 in 2016, Chennai (135 this year from 158 in 2016), Bengaluru (to 166 from 180) and Kolkata (to 184 from 194). The improvement of ranking of Indian cities was not just on account of internal factors, but also because some global cities fell in ranking following currency volatility, especially in Egypt, Turkey and the United Kingdom, Mercer said.

The 19th century <keyword id="108066" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="mansion">mansion</keyword> is located on 18 Carlton House Terrace in the heart of London, close to Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square.
The property has approximately 50,000 square feet of living space spread over three floors, and is said to currently be owned by a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, according to The Times.
The expansive home has long hosted royals, and past guests include <a href="http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=68416" target="_blank">members of the House of Commons and Prince Louis Napoleon Bonaparte</a>.
It has a grand double staircase, large ballroom, and high ceilings throughout. The sale brochure for the property says that its, "probably the finest residence in London," <a href="http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/life/property/article3746010.ece" target="_blank">as reported by Arabian Business</a>.
Last September, a <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/london-mansion-on-sale-for-484-million-2012-9" target="_blank">$483.5 million home was put on the market</a> that overlooked London's Hyde Park and belonged to Sultan bin Abdulaziz. The price was lowered, however, when the building failed to attract a buyer, according to Arabian Business.

Just this month, the biggest pink diamond mine in the world, <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/12443753-6610-46a1-b831-850fe26b72c1">Australia's Argyle deposit</a>, stopped production because it has exhausted the entire supply. The mine accounted for more than 90 percent of the global supply of pink diamonds. Among the 10 most expensive diamonds ever sold in the world, pink diamonds account for half the list. All five of them have been sold within the last 10 years, according to Sotheby’s. The stone itself is 14.83 carats. However, the original stone found in 2017 was a massive 27.85 carats. It was discovered by mining firm Alrosa in Russia’s Sakha republic in northeast Siberia. It's common knowledge that <keyword id="6360288" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="college">college</keyword> costs are on the rise. But you may be surprised to know that some schools currently charge over $60,000 to educate a student for just one year.
A list released earlier this year by the Department of <keyword id="6355445" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Education">Education</keyword> <a href="http://collegecost.ed.gov/catc/">charts the highest tuition in the country</a>. Unfortunately, the tuition numbers used in the rankings are two years old, and fail to show the contemporary college landscape.
The list also ignores the total cost of an education. Most four-year residential colleges will tack on an extra ten grand or more for room, board, and a wide range of other fees. 
An administrator at Ohio University - which was included in the list of most expensive public universities - dismissed the Department of Education's rankings, saying, "<a href="http://thepost.ohiou.edu/content/department-education-ranks-ou-one-nation%E2%80%99s-most-expensive-universities">The list does not describe the entire story of the costs of a quality education at Ohio University</a>."
New York University - our most expensive school at a whopping $61,977 per year - falls at number 61 on the Department of Education's highest tuition list.
We've compiled a list of the colleges that are charging the most for tuition, required fees, and room and board for the upcoming academic year. These numbers are solely what you would directly pay to the school, so you're still going to have to cover books, travel, and beer, as well as the more recent requirement of a health care plan.
