<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Ringing+Bells">Ringing Bells</a>, the company that launched '<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Freedom251">Freedom 251</a>', the world's cheapest smartphone at an unbelievable Rs 251 has stopped taking orders for 24 hours due to overload. 
 
The Noida-based company launched the smartphone yesterday. Bookings started today morning at 0600 hrs. 
 
"Dear friends, we are very grateful for your enormous response and your kind patronage and would submit that as of now we received approx. Six Lacs hits per second as a result of your kind overwhelming response, servers are over loaded," <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Freedom251">Freedom251</a> said on its website. 
 
"We humbly submit that we are therefore taking a pause and upgrading the service and will revert within or before 24 hours," it added. 
 The company has been set up five months ago by Amity University graduate <keyword id="3250964" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Mohit-Kumar-Goel">Mohit Kumar Goel</keyword>. He launched the Freedom 251 at an event attended by BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi.

This accomplishment marks a crucial step toward the development of biocomputers—computational devices made from <keyword id="23206086" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="living-cells" source="keywords">living cells</keyword> that could revolutionise how we think about computing in the future. <h2>A history of <keyword id="23249688" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="biological-computing" source="keywords">biological computing</keyword> </h2>The concept of using living cells for computation is not entirely new. Over the past two decades, researchers worldwide have explored the potential of biological systems to perform computational tasks. The first major breakthroughs came in the early 2000s when scientists developed synthetic biology techniques to engineer cells with logic gates—the fundamental components of digital computers. These biological logic gates allowed simple operations such as "AND," "OR," and "NOT," mimicking the operations seen in silicon-based processors. Following this, scientists advanced by using various microbes, such as <keyword id="22608696" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="E-coli" source="keywords">E. coli</keyword> and yeast, to perform basic mathematical operations like addition and subtraction. However, SINP's latest research takes a significant step forward by using a more sophisticated approach. In one set of experiments, the scientists were able to get them to add, subtract, and solve ten different computational problems, including determining prime numbers between 0 and 9. The bacteria's ability to answer yes-or-no questions, like "Is 4 a prime number?" or "Is 7 a prime number?" was particularly astonishing. When the bacteria were questioned chemically, they responded by secreting proteins that indicated their answers — green for "yes" and red for "no." This development underscores their capacity to function as living computers. The implications of this research are immense, not only for computational science but also for fundamental biology. “Mammalian cells make decisions all the time, and we currently have very little understanding of this decision-making process,” said Mohit Kumar Jolly, assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This Bengaluru-based Startup is celebrating Diwali in the most unique way possible!

<div class="KonaFilter image-container float_right"><div class="image on-image"></div></div>A Swedish white-hat hacker has discovered a serious vulnerability in OS X Yosemite that may extend to previous Mac operating systems as well, <a href="http://thehackernews.com/2014/11/rootpipe-critical-mac-os-x-yosemite.html">reports The Hacker News' Mohit Kumar</a>.
The vulnerability, called "Rootpipe," appears to have been discovered by <a href="https://twitter.com/emilkvarnhammar" class="ProfileHeaderCard-nameLink u-textInheritColor js-nav">Emil Kvarnhammar</a>, a consultant at IT security firm <a href="http://www.truesec.se/">TrueSec</a>.
Rootpipe allows outside users to gain administrator-level access to Macs running OS X Yosemite, Mavericks, or Mountain Lion without a password. 
The security flaw gives attackers the opportunity to steal information, install malicious programs, or erase users' hard drives.
Kvarnhammar, for his part, appears to be waiting for Apple to patch Rootpipe before saying much about it:

Rootpipe has probably been around since at least 2012, <a href="http://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/article19689383.ab">according to Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet</a>.
Apple has not publically acknowledged the security flaw and is expected to patch it in mid-January 2015, <a href="http://www.zdnet.com/serious-security-flaw-in-os-x-yosemite-rootpipe-7000035372/#ftag=RSS86a1aa4">reports ZDNet</a>.

A White-hat Hacker Discovered A Dangerous Vulnerability In Three Apple Operating Systems

Following the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=forbes">Forbes</a> list of <keyword id="2051863" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="30-Under-30">30 under 30</keyword> list of <keyword id="310274" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Young-Achievers">young achievers</keyword> that was announced last month where 45 Indians found a mention, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=forbes+india">Forbes India </a>revealed its own 30 under 30 list today, featuring who they described as the cool kids. 
 
The list is a mixture of expected faces and a few new ones. It’s certainly not as exhaustive as the original list, but the list, in its third year now doesn’t fail to pack a punch. 
 Explaining their choices, <keyword id="6373044" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Forbes">Forbes</keyword> put out an article, saying “These young men and women not only fill us with admiration but also, to borrow an acronym from their generation, major FOMO (fear of missing out—yes, that’s a thing). 
 
To compound this angst, let’s remember this list is not exhaustive. It is impossible to cover the geographical expanse of this country and reach every potential candidate. But, as always, our aim is to find the best possible names that meet our three criteria: The extent of the impact of an achievement in a short span of time and its ability to disrupt the status quo; scalability of the business or line of work; and enough indication of being a long-term player. And, as with previous lists, well-established names as well as those who have access to an influential lineage are not considered.”

According to Forbes, the research process was three fold- First, the staff of Forbes India conducted interviews with sources across relevant categories and analyzed media coverage at the same time. Second, applications were invited from entrepreneurs and professionals on forbesindia.com and third, word was spread on social media. 
 
This helped the team arrive on a longlist of 300 across 13 categories, which was then cut down to 100 after weighing in views of experts and from there the Forbes Team took over to make the final selection!
