The stock listed at ₹1,581, which is 53% more than the issue price band of ₹1,000-1,033 apiece. Investors have been expecting huge listing gains due to high grey market premium, positive recommendation by analysts as MapmyIndia is a pioneer in digital maps. However, some expectations have been tapered down due to poor market sentiment. “It was expected that this can give more than 100% return on a listing day however expectations have tapered down amid sharp correction in the market where the grey market premium is indicating a listing gain of around 70-75%,” said Aayush Agrawal, senior analyst at Swastika Investmart. Post listing, the market capitalisation of the company stood at ₹8,417.71 crore, according to BSE data. The grey market had indicated a strong listing too as unlisted shares of MapMyIndia were commanding a marginal premium of ₹700 per share. The IPO, which was open between December 9 and December 13, received strong response from investors. It was subscribed 154.71 times on the last day of the bidding. The company is one of its kind that builds digital map data, telematics services, location-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) and geographic information system (GIS) services. The company intends to raise ₹1,040 crore IPO entirely through an offer for sale (OfS), which will give partial exits to MapmyIndia’s cofounder Rashmi Verma, Qualcomm Asia Pacific, Zenrin and others. The digital maps company is looking to sell 1,00,63,945 equity shares. MapMyIndia reported a revenue of ₹152 crore from its operation in fiscal year 2021 and its net profit was around ₹59 crore. The Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-backed company received a moderate interest from investors as it was subscribed just 3.64 times. “We are seeing a change in IPO [initial public offering] sentiment amid a slight decline in the market, and the last two debutants witnessed profit bookings post-listing, as well we are seeing a decline in the GMP [grey market price] for upcoming IPOs. We may see a discount listing of Metro Brands given that its GMP trades at a discount of 10-15% currently,” said Aayush Agrawal, senior analyst at Swastika Investmart. Analysts at Angel One also expect a weak listing for Metro Brand’s stock, but they hold a positive stance for the long term investment. “On the listing day, we are expecting a slightly weak listing due to the company already commanding higher valuation and fear of [the] new COVID variant omicron (will increase the possibility of lockdown). However, we are positive on stock for the long term on the back of asset light business, strong brands and wide range of products,” said Amarjeet Maurya, assistant vice president – mid caps at Angel One. Also, the company’s financial performance in FY21 was not very great due to COVID-19 restrictions in the country that affected the entire footwear retailing segment. Its revenue from operations declined by 37.75% in FY21. Started in 1955 as a footwear specialty retailer in India, Metro Brands now caters to footwear needs of men, women, unisex and kids. And of course, we did not see any gross margin erosion,” said Nissan Joseph, chief executive officer at Metro Brands in an interview with Business Insider. Its revenue from operations declined by 37.75% in FY21. In the meantime, it permanently closed 24 stores, due to significant decline in footfalls on account of COVID-19. While sales through physical stores play a significant role in overall revenues, the footwear retailer has also made some move in the online channels. Analysts at Angel One believe that the company is demanding an expensive valuation. “The company’s historical net profit growth is low compared to its peer Relaxo Footwears. However, Metro Brands has asset light business, strong brands and wide range of products but we believe that these positives are captured in the valuations commanded by the company. Thus, we have a NEUTRAL rating on the issue,” said the brokerage firm. Metro Brands is aggressively planning on opening new stores despite COVID-19’s impact on its profits

<ul><li>Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has written to SEBI seeking dismissal of the IPO.</li><li>CAIT is an organisation of eight crore traders and 40,000 trading associations.</li><li><keyword id="3143174" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pharmeasy" source="Orion">PharmEasy</keyword> is planning to raise ₹6,250 crore in an IPO.</li></ul>The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has written to India’s market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), seeking dismissal of PharmEasy’s initial public offering (IPO) as online pharmacies are allegedly not legal under Indian law. The organisation — which has eight crore traders and 40,000 trading associations — has highlighted that the sale of medicine over the internet is not allowed as per the order passed by Delhi high court back in 2018. “The sale of medicine still continues till this date against the order by the honorable high court,” Praveen Khandelwal, national secretary general of CAIT, said. Last month, Delhi-based South Chemists and Distributors Association (SCDA) had also written a letter to the market regulator to reject PharmEasy’s IPO citing the same reason. CAIT has also raised concerns over<a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/startups/news/pharmeasy-opens-up-quicker-public-listing-options-with-its-acquisition-of-thyrocare/articleshow/83922011.cms"> PharmEasy’s acquisition of Thyrocare</a>, a chain of diagnostic and preventive care laboratories. The organisation highlighted that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has not yet approved the acquisition of Thyrocare. “Despite of order from the CCI, API Holdings mentions Thyrocare as their subsidiary in the DRHP [draft red herring prospectus] submitted to SEBI,” Khandelwal added. PharmEasy is planning to<a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/startups/news/pharmeasy-is-set-for-ipo-drhp-highlights-revenue-shareholdings-and-intentions/slidelist/87644144.cms"> raise ₹6,250 crore in an IPO</a>, which is purely a fresh issue. None of its existing stakeholders would be selling their shareholdings. The company, in consultation with the bankers to the issue, may consider a private placement aggregating up to ₹1,250 crore. If such placement is completed, the fresh issue size will be reduced. The Mumbai-based startup would use the proceeds from this IPO to prepay or repay its outstanding debt of ₹1,929 crore, the DRHP highlighted. The company will be looking to invest ₹1,259 crore to fund organic growth initiatives. It has also set aside another ₹1,500 crore would be spent on inorganic growth initiatives through acquisition and organic growth initiatives. After chemists’ body, traders demand rejection of PharmEasy’s IPO

The course modules are designed to support all levels of learners, regardless of where they are in their cybersecurity journey. Microsoft has introduced four new security, compliance and identity certifications, of which the accredited certification for Fundamentals will be offered at zero-cost for any individual who attends the associated training through this initiative. Additionally, in collaboration with its partners, Microsoft, offers learners deeply discounted offers on the rest of the advanced role-based certifications to drive deep skills for addressing cybersecurity challenges.
